Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mendapatkan jawaban apakah strategi Shared Writing ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam menulis esai pendek dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi peningkatan tersebut. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari lima pertemuan. empat pertemuan untuk pembelajaran menulis esai pendek dengan menggunakan strategi Shared Writing dan satu pertemuan lagi untuk tes menulis esai pendek mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 17 September 2014 sampai 19 November 2014. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembaran observasi, catatan lapangan, interview, dan tes. Penerapan shared writing menunjukan adanya peningkatkan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa dalam menulis esai pendek. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai mahasiswa. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 60,8 dan pada siklus 2 adalah 73,7. Kemudian, faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa tersebut adalah bahan ajar yang menarik, strategi dosen, peranan dosen, interaksi antar mahasiswa dan latihan menulis mahasiswa dalam mengikuti semua prosedur pada strategi tersebut.The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out whether this Shared Writing Strategy can improve students' writing skills in short essay writing and to find out what factors influence the improvement. This classroom action research is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of five meetings. There are four meetings for short essay writing lessons using Shared Writing strategies and one more meeting for short essay writing tests. The research was conducted from 17 September 2014 to 19 November 2014. The research instruments used to collect data were observation sheets, field notes, interviews, and tests. The implementation of shared writing shows the improvement of students writing skills in short essay writing. It can be seen from the increase in students’ scores. The average score of students in cycle 1 was 60.8 and in cycle 2 was 73.7. Then, the factors that influence the student's ability improvement are interesting teaching materials, lecturer's strategy, lecturer's role, interaction between students and writing exercises of students in following all the procedures on the strategy

Abstract

Penguasaan kosa kata siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris kelas IV.B SD Negeri 36 Pekanbaru sangat rendah. Terdapat 69 % siswa yang mengalami remedial. Metode yang digunakan selama ini kurang efektif. Untuk itu dilakukan upaya peningkatan penguasaan kosa kata, Pictionary Board Game. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Sejauh mana  Pictionary Board Game. dapat meningkatkan hasil penguasaan kosa kata, 2) Faktor apa sajakah yang meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata siswa dengan menggunakan Pictionary Board Game. Kelas IV.B SD Negeri 36 Pekanbaru. Jenis penilitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV.B SD Negeri 36 Pekanbaru Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, yang mana setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian berupa hasil test, lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Pictionary Board Game. dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata pada tiap indikatornya. Ada 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil penguasaan kosa kata siswa: yaitu materi yang diberikan kepada siswa, ketertarikan siswa, dan bimbingan guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena dilatarbelakangi oleh kepedulian peneliti terhadap keberlangsungan lembaga majelis taklim yang dewasa ini pada umumnya kegiatan di dalamnya banyak yang belum sesuai dengan aturan yang ada, bahkan sifatnya monoton. Majelis Taklim Masjid Tuanku Tambusai yang penulis jadikan tempat penelitian, menerapkan reward dan punishment untuk meningkatkan keaktifan bagi jemaahnya, khususnya terhadap kehadiran dan keikutsertaan dalam semua kegiatan yang ada di majelis taklim tersebut. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan keaktifan jemaah setelah penerapan reward dan punishment dari 42% menjadi 69%. Penelitian dilakukan kurang lebih selama tiga bulan dengan jumlah sampel 33 orang. This study was conducted because the researcher concern on the continuity of the institution of Majelis taklim today. It is generally the activities in which many are not in accordance with existing rules and even monotonous. Majlis Ta'lim Tuanku Tambusai Mosque which the author made the place of research, apply rewards and punishment to increase the activity for its Jemaah especially on the presence and participation in all activities in the Majlis Ta'lim. The researcher concluded that the increase of the activity of the Jemaah after the application of reward and punishment from 42% to 69%.  The study was conducted approximately for three months with a sample size of 33 people.

Abstract

Holistically the survival of Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah until now because of spiritual, intellectual and social empowerment is done by way of simplicity. The nature of simplicity and tradition that is in Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah increasingly will experience obstacles due to the increasingly sophisticated globalization and can not be inhibited. The Mustahawiyah pesantren which was founded in 1912 still maintains its traditional system. This can be seen from the santri uniform consisting of: sarong cloth, ordinary white clothes, white cap and wear sandals. This is what makes sense of togetherness among fellow santri without any sense of difference. Based on the observation, empowerment in Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah includes empowerment of Ruhaniah, Intlektual and Sosial. This fact is very interesting to be a comparison material to the modern pesantren-pesantren around Mandailing Natal district.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to know The Effect of Using Cue Cards on Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at Seventh Grade Students of SMP N 16 Mandau. Related to the object of the research, the researcher used Pre - experimental method. The design of the research used pre test/ post test design. The research was conducted at Seventh Grade students of SMP N 16 Mandau. The population of this research was the seventh grade students of SMP N 16 Mandau. The sample of the research was 30 students. In analyzing the research data, the researcher used Paired sample T-Test by using SPSS. The data were taken from students’ English achievement pre test and post test score. Based on statistical calculation in data analysis, the researcher gave interpretation of pre test and post test score. From the calculation, t obtained was 10.343, the level significance of 5% was 2.05, and the level of significance 1% was 2.76. it showed 2.05>10.343>2.76. It could be concluded that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that there was significant effect of using cue cards on students’ vocabulary mastery at seventh grade students of SMP N 16 Mandau.Key words: Cue cards, Vocabulary mastery

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the effectiveness of applying Collaborative Strategy Reading (CSR) on students’ reading comprehension. The research design was pre-experimental by giving pre-test and post-test to the class. It involved 36 participants of MTs Hubbulwathan Duri. Two research questions were posted in this study in order to find out the significant effect of using CSR on students’ reading comprehension. Pretest and posttest were administered in this study and paired sample t-test was used to analyze the data. The research finding shows that there was significant effect of using CSR on students’ reading comprehension. CSR contributed by 80,76 after giving post-test to the students with level of significant is 2.060. So, it can make inference that CSR can be applied in teaching reading comprehension especially at MTs Hubbulwathan Duri.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan Collaborative Strategy Reading (CSR) pada pemahaman membaca siswa. Desain penelitian pra-eksperimental dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test ke kelas. Penelitian ini melibatkan 36 peserta MTs Hubbulwathan Duri. Dua pertanyaan penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan menggunakan CSR terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa. Pretest dan posttest diberikan dalam penelitian ini dan paired sample t-test digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan menggunakan CSR pada pemahaman membaca siswa. CSR yang disumbangkan oleh 80,76 setelah memberikan post-test kepada siswa dengan tingkat signifikan adalah 2,060. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa CSR dapat diterapkan dalam pengajaran membaca pemahaman terutama di MTs Hubbulwathan Duri

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan cluster connection terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa pada siswa kelas 8 MTs Darul Ihsan Duri. Behubungan dengan objek penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen. Model penelitiannya adalah kelompok pretest--post test untuk kelas control dan eksperimen. Penelitian ini diadakan pada MTs Darul Ihsan Duri pada tahun akademik 2015/2016. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas 8 MTs Darul Ihsan Duri pada tahun akademik 2015/2016. Total populasi penelitian adalah 62 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII.A sebagai kelas kontrol, dan VIII.B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Kelas VIII.A terdiri atas 31 siswa. Kelas VIII.B terdiri atas 31 siswa. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. T-Test digunakan untuk mengetahui apakah teknik cluster connection effektif terhadap penguasaaan kosakata siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan teknik cluster connection efektif terhadap penguasaaan kosakata siswa. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistic dalam menganalisis data peneliti memberikan tafsiran skor postest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari perhitungan, t-test adalah 2.627 dan t-table adalah 2.00. karena nilai t-test (2.627) lebih tinggi dari pada t-table (2.00). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa alternative hipotesis (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis null (Ho) ditolak. Ini berarti pengajaran kosakata dengan teknik cluster connection adalah efektif. This study aimed to know The Effectiveness of Using Cluster Connection Towards The Students’ VocabularyMastery at The Eighth Graders at MTs Darul Ihsan Duri. The research was conducted at MTs. Daru lIhsan Duri in the academic year 2015/2016. The population of this research was the eighth grade students of MTs Darul Ihsan Duri. The total population was 62 students. The sample of the research was class VIII.A as control class and class VIII.B as experimental class. Class VIII.A consisted of 31 students. Class VIII.B consisted of 31 students. In analyzing the research data, the researcher used Independent sampleT-Test. T-Test was used to know whether cluster connection technique is effective toward the students’ vocabulary mastery. The result of the research showed that using cluster connection technique was effective toward the students’ vocabulary mastery. Based on statistical calculation in data analysis, the researcher gave interpretation of posttest score in experiment class and the control class. From the calculation, t-test value was 2.627 and t-table was 2.00. Because t-test value (2.627) was higher than t-table (2.00), it could be concluded that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that teaching vocabulary by using cluster connection is effective.

Abstract

Based on the researchers observation, it was found that most of the students are difficult in using direct and indirect speech of statement. They are difficult to change tenses, pronoun and adverb of time from direct into indirect speech. So, the researchers were interested in carrying out the research about this problem. The objective of the research is to find out kinds of error in using direct and indirect speech and cause of the errors. The design of this research was descriptive quantitative. There is 1 class at sixth semester of  STAI Hubbulwathan Duri. The Population the sixth semester of STAI Hubbulwathan Duri are 19 students. The researchers use the sixth semester class (19 students) as sample. The writer gave written test by 10 items. And then test result will be presented in the form of tables and picture to make it easier to understand. To know of steps take in conducting an error analysis, the researchers use steps classify errors and quantify errors. After analyzing the data, the researchers found kind of errors which made by the students and the cause of the errors.  Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalamai kesulitan dalam menggunakan direct speech dan indirect speech. Mereka sulit mengubah tenses, pronoun dan adverb of time dari direct speech ke indirect speech. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang masalah ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan dalam menggunakan ujaran langsung dan tidak langsung dan penyebab kesalahan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester enam STAI Hubbulwathan Duri. Populasi semester enam STAI Hubbulwathan Duri adalah 19 orang mahasiswa. Peneliti akan menggunakan  semester enam (19 siswa) sebagai sampel. Peneliti memberikan tes tertulis sebanyak 10 item. Dan kemudian hasil tes akan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan gambar sehingga lebih mudah dimengerti. Untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah dalam melakukan analisis kesalahan, peneliti akan menggunakan langkah-langkah untuk mengklasifikasikan kesalahan dan mengkuantifikasi kesalahan. Setelah menganalisa data, peneliti menemukan jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dan penyebab kesalahannya.

Abstract

Sejarah terbentuknya mazhab fikih, ilmu kalam, dan tasawuf dalam Islam sangat penting untuk dibahas, serta memiliki keunggulan dari segi menambah wawasan keislaman dalam menghadapi perbedaan di tengah-tengah umat. Tujuan pembahasan ini dalam rangka menganalisis fakta dan perkembangan problematika sejarah terbentuknya mazhab fikih, ilmu kalam, dan tasawuf serta implikasinya dalam membangun ukhuwah Islamiyah. Pembahasan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, kelahiran mazhab fikih dengan pola dan karakteristik tersendiri ini, tak pelak lagi menimbulkan berbagai perbedaan pendapat dan beragamnya produk hukum yang dihasilkan. Para tokoh imam mazhab seperti Imam Hanafi, Imam Maliki, Imam Syafi’i, dan Imam Hambali, masing-masing menawarkan teori, kaidah-kaidah ijtihad dan kerangka metodologi yang menjadi pijakan mereka dalam menetapkan hukum. Adapun sejarah ilmu kalam, berawal dari peristiwa tahkim yang kemudian menimbulkan tiga aliran teologi dalam Islam, yaitu aliran Khawarij, Murji’ah, dan Mu’tazilah. Sementara, sejarah perkataan tasawuf baru dikenal setelah abad ketiga hijriah, tetapi kandungan ajaran tasawuf sudah ada pada diri Nabi dan para sahabat beliau. Walaupun demikian, pendapat ulama tentang sejarah pendirian gerakan tasawuf masih berbeda-beda. Implikasnya, pembahasan ini akan semakin membuka wawasan pemikiran dan akan lebih bijak lagi ketika menghadapi perbedaan di tengah-tengah umat demi terwujudnya ukhuwah Islamiyah.The history of the establishment of fikih, kalam, and Sufism schools of thought (mazhab) in Islam is considered as a crucial thing to discuss and it in fact has advantages in terms of increasing Islamic insight in facing the diversity among people. The purpose of this present study is to analyze the facts and the problem development of the history of the establishment of fikih, kalam, and sufism schools of thought and their implications in building ukhuwah Islamiyah. This present study employed a qualitative approach and literature study methods. Based on the results of the discussion, the establishment of fikih school of thought along with its own patterns and characteristics inevitably led to various differences of opinion and the variety of legal products. The schools of thought (Imam mazhab) figures such as Imam Hanafi, Imam Maliki, Imam Syafi’i, and Imam Hambali, postulated their own theories, rules of ijtihad and methodological frameworks as the basis in establishing a binding ruling of religious matters. In particular, as for the history of the science of kalam, it was started in the time of tahkim event which later led to the three schools of theology in Islam covering the Khawarij, Murji'ah, and Mu’tazilah. On the other hand, the history of Sufism was only known after the third century of hijriah, even though the teaching of Sufism was already embodied in the Prophet and his companions. Nevertheless, the Islamic scholars had different opinions regarding the history of the establishment of Sufism movements. In fact, the implication of this study will open up more insight and it will promote a wise attitude in facing different opinions in the midst of the people in order to realize Islamic Unity (ukhuwah Islamiyah).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 19 orang yang terdiri atas kepala sekolah dan guru MI di Kabupaten Merauke yang diambil secara purposive. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menjabarkan empat aspek dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013, yaitu: 1) persepsi guru terhadap standar kompetensi lulusan berada pada kategori sangat baik (94,74%); 2) persepsi guru dalam implementasi standar isi adalah guru harus mengembangkan kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan ke dalam RPP berada pada kategori baik (68,42%); 3) Persepsi guru pada standar proses guru harus terbiasa membuat pembelajaran dengan membuat siswa aktif menyampaikan argumen sesuai tema berada dalam kategori terlaksana dengan baik (78,95); 4) persepsi guru pada standar penilaian berada pada kategori terlaksana dengan baik (84,20%). Pada standar penilaian, guru mengalami kesulitan karena dalam waktu yang bersamaan diharuskan menilai sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru MI khsususnya pada kelas atas dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 masuk dalam kategori baik.This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey research design. The sample in this study amounted to 19 people consisting of MI principals and teachers in Merauke Regency who were taken purposively. The research data were analyzed through descriptive quantitative. The results of the study describe four aspects of the 2013 Curriculum implementation, namely: 1) the teacher perceptions on the graduate competence standard is in the very good category (94.74%); 2) the teacher perceptions on the content standard implementation that the teacher must develop the attitude, knowledge, and skills competencies into the lesson plan (RPP) is in the very good category (68.42%); 3) the teacher perceptions on the process standards that the teacher must be familiar with making learning by making students actively convey arguments in accordance with the theme is in the well-implemented category (78.95); 4) the teacher perceptions on the assessment standard is in the well-implemented category (84.20%). In the assessment standard, the teacher has difficulty because at the same time is required to assess the attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Thus it was concluded that teacher perceptions of MI especially in the upper classes in implementing the 2013 Curriculum is in the good category.
