Abstract

Information technology development brings a very broad impact on human life. With this Model View Controller (MVC) concept, information system development could be developed in accordance needs of the user’s information system development and be able to adapt the development in the organization. Needs of fast and precise and adaptive information system information is needed in this modern era when everything needs to be fast. Faculty of computer science (FIK) Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) as one work unit under the government agency, has State-owned inventories to support all activities to carry out the Tri Dharma or the higher education pillars, especially in the field of education. The state-owned inventories or devices are available in FIK such as monitors, printers, LCD, mouse, etc. For continuity of this educational process, the state-owned inventories must be maintained. Therefore, in this research, the researchers will develop an information system to document the state-owned inventory records for helping the management of the state-owned inventories in the faculty of computer science at UPN Veteran Jakarta. The information system was built using the waterfall method and using the PHP programming language and MySQL database running on a server. This information system provides features to manage users, manage components, access system logs, access system settings, manage devices, manage the location, and access reports. The system that has been developed has also passed the eligibility assessment for all aspects of both visual communication aspects, software engineering aspects, and usability aspects.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of an Android-based innovative application that is useful in the early diagnosis of periodontal disease in cigarette addicts. The problem which is the main topic of discussion in this study is the health issue of organs that are often ignored by humans, namely the teeth and mouth. Then one of the types of dental and oral diseases that many people often complain about is the periodontal disease which also gets less attention in Indonesian society. And one of the causes of this periodontal disease is caused by smoking habits. So to facilitate the identification in knowing the periodontal symptoms caused by the cigarette, a system that can identify the early symptoms of periodontal disease is needed. The technology proposed to build the system applies expert system technology with Certainty Factor. In building an android-based innovative application to diagnose periodontal disease, there are cigarette addicts in this study with the Research & Development research method to produce an output that can be right on target by the expected target. In addition, interviews and direct observation techniques were also carried out with experts or experts in the field of dental and oral diseases to collect the required data on the needs of the system to be built.

Abstract

The development of technology causes things that done through meet in person or coming to a place can now be done by viewing information through gadgets or websites. Nowadays, to find out information about a place that provides accommodation for a vacation or a business visit, it can be done by accessing social media to see reviews from visitors who have visited the place, example, a hotel. Reviews given by hotel visitors are seen as more credible than information obtained from advertisements but the problem is that there are many reviews circulating on social media and it takes a time to analyze them. This study aims to analyze hotel reviews using the sentiment analysis method with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) approach. Sentiment analysis can be used to analyze the opinions of a large number of hotel visitors where it usually focuses on opinions that positive, negative and neutral. Before being analyzed with the support vector machine algorithm, 3 feature extraction methods will be used, namely Bag Of Words, TF-IDF and improvement TF-IDF to get the value of each word weight. The selection of these three methods is carried out by considering the influence of the presence of the same word feature in each review. In this comparison method, TF-IDF was found to be the best feature extraction method with 71.75% accuracy, 78.66% precision, 71.91% recall and 70.08% f1-score. The results obtained indicate that there are influence of features of the word in the hotel review data.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a potentially serious infectious disease in the lungs, becoming 1 of 10 causes of death. In Indonesia, the disease is ranked third after India and China with 824,000 cases and 93,000 deaths per year, equivalent to 11 deaths per hour. The increasing number of infections and deaths from TB disease is recorded as a result of its transmission, lack of early diagnosis, and inadequate professional radiologists in developing areas where TB is more common. Rapid and accurate diagnosis is essential for appropriate treatment to be initiated. Diagnosis is usually done by looking at the results of the x-ray image of the thorax and the results of the BTA test on the patient. To classify lung x-ray images detected tuberculosis or not, a study was carried out using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. The test results produce the last epochs value of 200, the accuracy obtained is 0.9892, which means the CNN accuracy is 98%, with validation the accuracy obtained is 0.9835 or 98%. So the results of the classification test using CNN are quite accurate. With the acquisition of CNN results which is quite high, it can be used as a consideration to be used in classifying TB disease.

Abstract

Acceptance of new employees is one of the routine activities carried out to find reliable employees in their fields and become a benchmark to reflect the face of the company to the entire community. Currently, the problem that occurs is that the management process for new employee recruitment is centralized based on internal selection calculations by only one party, so that the results of assessment and decision making tend to be less objective and efficient at this time. So that the decisions taken can trigger the tendency of subjectivity in one of the prospective registrants which results in brokering at the selection stage.. To answer the challenge, ANP and the Technique were used to create a Decision Support System (DSS). Sort Preferences based on their similarity to the ideal solution. (TOPSIS) approach for hiring and retaining new employees by determining the optimum solution based on that strategy. The ANP was employed in this study to assign a weight to each criteria. The TOPSIS ranking technique is used to compute the weight.

Abstract

The information systems study program (SI Study Program) Faculty of science and technology is one of the study programs at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan. Based on the Decree of the Chancellor of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan Number 417L of 2016 concerning the Enforcement of SOPs for the Implementation of the Munaqasyah Exam. The Munaqasyah exam is the last test that must be passed by State Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan students before obtaining a bachelor's degree (S1) about being responsible for scientific work which is the result of research that has been done. The registration process for the Munaqasyah exam in the information systems study program uses google forms so that students have difficulty getting information about the registration status and the information systems study program must first collect data and student registration documents and carry out validation. By doing this, the registration and validation process for the Munaqasyah exam will be no more effective and efficient. The purpose of this study is to build an android-based information system that can be used to register for the Munaqasyah exam and validate the registration. The system development method used is Extreme Programming (XP) while in designing the system the author uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). In the development of information systems, the author uses Kodular and google spreadsheet databases. With the information system, it is hoped that the registration process and registration validation will be more effective and efficient

Abstract

Coronavirus is a virus that causes disease in humans and animals. The virus was discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Initially, it was suspected to be pneumonia, with general symptoms similar to the flu. However, unlike influenza, coronaviruses can progress rapidly, leading to more severe infections and organ failure. The number of COVID-19 sufferers in Indonesia is increasing every month. Anticipation and reducing the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Indonesia have been carried out in all regions. Including providing policies that limit activities outside the home. Indonesia has a very wide area, so it is necessary to classify the spread of Covid-19 based on regions or regions in Indonesia. This grouping provides a central point for the spread of Covid-19 pandemic cases in Indonesia. In testing data using data mining, data mining allows users to find knowledge in databases that were previously unknown to the user. By using the Clustering technique and the K-Means algorithm to predict the spread of COVID-19 based on the results of screening and tracing. The Clustering method produces 3 clusters, Cluster 0 with a medium category with a total of 6 regions, Cluster 1 with a low category with a total of 3 regions, and Cluster 2 with a high cluster with a total of 7 regions, with a DBI value of -0.784.

Abstract

The Marriage Administration Information System at the Religious Affairs Office of Lubuk Barumun District is a system that is run by the Admin of the Religious Affairs Office of Lubuk Barumun District and the Community in Lubuk Barumun District. The main function provided by this marriage administration information system is to facilitate the Religious Affairs office in compiling data and delivering information to the public, this system can also facilitate the public in submitting marriage requirements and reconciliation files. In using the marriage administration information system, some people are still confused in running this marriage administration information system. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the usefulness of the marriage administration information system using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to determine the extent of the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of using the marriage administration information system that has been built.

Abstract

Hearing about Bali is always synonymous with tourism, beautiful natural tourism potential, unique culture and friendly people and culture. The practice of Hindu religious ceremonies cannot be separated from elements of art and culture. The existence of Kidung Dharma Gita as Balinese culture among the younger generation has begun to fade. The implementation of the Yadnya ceremony in Bali, this song is sung by many parents and it is rare for young people to sing this kidung voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to carry out conservation for the sake of preserving the Kidung Dharma Gita culture, so it is necessary to digitize Balinese culture, especially in the Dharma Gita Sekar Madya song. One of the solutions offered is the creation of an Android-based application for Kidung Dharma Gita Sekar Madya. In the evaluation process using Black Box Testing and System Usability Scale (SUS). Black Box Testing tests the entire page display with 16 test cases that produce good and appropriate results for each test. SUS involved 58 respondents with 10 question instruments. The test results obtained a value of 75,560 in Raw SUS Scores, that can be stated that this application has a passive value in NPS, acceptable value in acceptability, good value in adjective, and reach grade B. It can be seen that this application is good and has uses in cultural preservation applications.

Abstract

One of the requirements for graduating from the undergraduate level for universities in Indonesia is writing a final project or thesis. In order to graduate, of course, it is greatly influenced by the desire and strong spirit of the students and also the guidance of the supervisor. In determining the supervising lecturer, special attention must be paid to the field. Usually the selection of lecturers for thesis supervisors is determined by the study program through a meeting of lecturers in order to determine which lecturers are considered according to the title of the student and in accordance with the research of the supervisor. However, this method is a bit inconvenient and also quite time-consuming considering the number of students is more than a hundred and continues to grow every year. In this study, the thesis supervisor was classified based on the title proposed by the student. The methodology that will be used in this research is the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) methodology whose stages are: Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, and deployment, as well as using Generative Pre-Technology. trained Transformers 3 (GPT-3)
