Abstract

The Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) is an educational scholarship from the government for students who lack funds to continue their education, one of which is at the junior high school level. It is still done manually when selecting students who are eligible to receive the PIP scholarship at the junior high school level. This is less efficient because the selection process will take a long to analyze, and the reporting process is not yet computerized. To overcome these problems, a decision support system is needed to assist schools in selecting students who receive PIP assistance. The method used for the development of a decision support system is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The choice of this method is because the decision-making process is carried out by searching for the highest alternative from all alternatives so that the assessment is more accurate based on the provisions of the criteria values and preference weights. With the construction of this system, it is expected to be able to provide a solution so that the student selection decision-making process can be carried out quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Question classification is one of the essential tasks for question answering system. This task will determine the expected answer type (EAT) of the question given to the system. Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm is one of the learning algorithms that can be used to classify questions. At the classification stage, this algorithm used a set of features in the knowledge model. The number of features used can result in curse of dimensionality if the feature is in high dimension. Feature selection can be used to reduce the feature dimension and could increase the system performance. Chi-Square algorithm can be used to select features that describe each category. In this research, the Multinomial Naïve Bayes is used to classify the question sentences and the Chi-Square algorithm is used for the feature selection. The dataset used is a set of Indonesian question sentences, consisting of 519 labeled factoids, 491 labeled non-factoids, and 185 labeled other. The test results showed an increase in accuracy of 0.1 when used feature selection. System accuracy when used feature selection is 0.87 with the number of features used are 248. Without feature selection, the accuracy is 0.77 with the number of features used are 1374.

Abstract

Cervical is the second most common malignant tumor in women, with 341,000 deaths worldwide in 2020, almost 80% of which occur in developing countries. One of the causes is infection with Human papillomavirus (HPV) types 16 and 18. The increasing incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia makes this disease must be treated seriously because it is one of the main causes of death. In addition to the virus, external factors can be one of the causes. The high mortality rate in patients is caused by the patient's awareness of the emergence of cervical cancer which is only seen when it enters the final stage. One of the efforts to reduce the number of sufferers is to implement cervical cancer detection. Early detection of cervical cancer can also be identified by looking at external factors, such as behavioral factors, intentions, attitudes, norms, perceptions, motivations, social support, and empowerment. However, the data used has an imbalance in the distribution of the target class, namely more negative samples than positive ones. To overcome this, a technique called Stratified K-Fold Cross-Validation (SKCV) is used. Evaluation of the accuracy value using the Confusion matrix to determine the performance of each model. The best performance of the five classification algorithms used is 96 percent (RF), 94 percent (LR), 92 percent (XGBoost), 90 percent (KNN), and 88 percent (NB). The results show that the model formed by RF-based SKCV has the highest accuracy of other models.

Abstract

Organizing a job fair is one of the steps to bridge the needs of companies in finding workers and the needs of job seekers to find work. Creative Media State Polytechnic (Polimedia) as a vocational college provides support to alumni to get decent jobs and according to their fields of expertise. In accordance with one of the Main Performance Indicators (KPI) of higher education, namely graduates get decent jobs [1]. However, currently Polimedia does not have a system that supports the implementation of the job fair or is still done manually. Research with the theme of developing virtual job fair information systems based on augmented reality and virtual reality has two objectives. The first objective is to develop an information system that assists the process of posting job vacancies and allows users to register for available vacancies. Then the second is to facilitate virtual job fairs. Because apart from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, holding a virtual job fair can be a distinct advantage for alumni who are looking for work because they can significantly save transportation and accommodation costs. The system development methodology used is the System Development Lyfe Cycle (SDLC) with the waterfall method. The waterfall method is divided into five stages, namely the analysis, design, implementation, testing and support stages. The design phase uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML), namely use case diagrams and entity relationship diagrams, while the implementation phase of augmented reality uses 3D modeling, markers and interface adjustments. In addition, the design of augmented reality and virtual reality applications uses the A-FRAME framework.

Abstract

Irfan Jaya's shop is a shop that sells Papuan-patterned clothes, bags, and sweaters since 2011. However, as the shop's business grew, there were several problems experienced in its business processes, such as information and store promotion systems which were only limited to shop banners. Another problem faced by the owner is the collection of goods and sales history is relatively long because they are still doing manual recording on the book. Based on the problems that occur, it is necessary to create a system such as an online shop that can facilitate the owner in managing and controlling his business. The purpose of this study was to design and determine the system requirements of the Irfan Jaya store using the Rational Unified Process method. the software is programmed using the PHP programming language and the implementation of the user interface display uses HTML and CSS. The software is built based on a website, with the hope that the device will be a solution to existing problems and able to simplify the business processes that run at the Irfan Jaya store. The results of this study are twofold. First, the system architecture design is at the inception and elaboration stages. Second, system implementation and testing at the construction and transition stages.

Abstract

The high rate of motorcycle theft was reportedly caused by the negligence of the owner of the motorcycle itself, including forgetting to double lock and leave the key on the motorcycle. This research offers a new approach to prevent motorcycle theft by designing an automatic double lock system through ignition keys, buzzer reminders for left keys, and coordinator points using GPS to track the position of a motorcycle. Automatic dual locks are designed using a solenoid that locks the front and rear disc brakes automatically when the ignition is in the lock position. The buzzer is activated by using a crossbeam sensor consisting of infrared and photodiode mounted on the ignition key slot and seat lock slot which will sound when the user leaves the key in one of the key slots. The Ublox Neo-6m GPS module is used to determine the coordinates of the motorcycle's position if the motorcycle has been stolen. The test results show that the system can work well. User satisfaction testing shows that respondents agree that the system that has been designed has ease of use, is simple and very useful, seen from the average score of usability factor 4.18, simplicity 4.32 and interactivity 4.38 from a scale of 5.

Abstract

The system of linear equations is a set of linear equations consisting of coefficients and variables. The coefficients in the system of linear equations exist in the form of real numbers and some are complex numbers. The system of linear equations has some form of solving or solution, ie a single solution, many solutions and no solutions. One of the most common problems encountered in systems of linear equations. Using modern mathematical methods, often a complex problem can be reduced to a system of linear equations. There are basically two groups of methods that can be used to solve a linear equation. The first method is known as the direct method, ie the method that searches for the completion of a linear equation in finite step. These are guaranteed to work and are recommended for general use. The second group is known as the indirect method or the method of iteration, which starts from an early settlement. Then try to fix almost in infinity, but convergent steps. The iterative methods are used to solve large Linear Equations Systems. And the proportion of zero is large, as are many systems encountered in the Linear Equation System. Therefore it takes an Alternative Algorithm in Iteration Method

Abstract

In accordance with the curriculum that applies throughout Indonesia, prospective MA students who will register for a school will experience major selection (major). For this reason, prospective students are expected to be able to assess their interests, talents, and abilities so that they do not choose the wrong major to take. Many prospective students choose majors because of the influence of friends. The role of parents is very important. Parents should be able to direct their children to choose majors according to their interests, talents, and career opportunities. choosing a major while in MA will have an effect on continuing to the next college or career. Majors available include, IPA and IPS. Majors will be adjusted to the abilities, talents and interests of students. The formulation of the problem in the writing of this scientific paper is limited to the scope where many prospective students want to go there but do not know what major is suitable for them. The purpose of this study is to assist students in choosing major that is suitable for those who are only recommendations using the analytical hierarchy process method. The results of this study were found that the interest criteria had 0.42% or in percentage described 42%, a talent had 0.95% or in percentage described 95% and career opportunities had 0.47% or in achievement 47% in choosing majors
