Abstract

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the financial performance of companies, especially those in the retail and fashion sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Changes in consumer behavior, social order, and economic pressures have presented companies with significant challenges in maintaining profitability. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial ratios consisting of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on the company's financial performance, which is proxied by return on equity (ROE), in the period before and after the Covid-19 pandemic (2019-2023).Methods: The research method employed is a quantitative, descriptive, and associative approach. It utilizes secondary data from the annual financial reports of 10 companies in the retail and fashion subsectors with purposive sampling techniques. After verifying the classical assumptions, the analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. Results: The study's results show that only the activity ratio (TATO) positively and significantly affects ROE. In contrast, the liquidity ratio (CR) and solvency (DER) have a negligible impact. This study concludes that the effectiveness of asset use is a key factor in improving financial performance. At the same time, liquidity and capital structure are not the primary determinants during the post-pandemic recovery period. These findings are expected to serve as a strategic reference for management and investors in making informed financial decisions in the fashion retail sector. Abstract

Introduction: Transparent and accountable financial management in villages is fundamental to achieving effective governance and sustainable development at the grassroots level. This study aims to examine the influence of village apparatus quality and village facilitators' quality on the effectiveness of village financial management, while also analyzing the moderating role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in these relationships. Methods: The research employs a quantitative design, utilizing a structured survey distributed to 227 respondents, comprising village officials from South Sulawesi. The data were collected through online questionnaires shared via WhatsApp groups affiliated with village governance institutions and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).Results: The results demonstrate that both the quality of village apparatus and village facilitators have a significant and positive impact on the quality of village financial management. Furthermore, the moderating role of BPD is found to significantly strengthen the relationship between village apparatus quality and financial management quality, while showing no moderating effect in the relationship between village assistants and financial management. These findings emphasize the strategic importance of enhancing both technical competence and collaborative oversight mechanisms in the governance of village finances. Theoretically, the integration of stewardship theory and agency theory offers a valuable lens for understanding how internal accountability and external supervision interact in shaping financial performance at the village level. This study contributes to the literature on public sector accounting and governance while offering policy recommendations for strengthening institutional frameworks in rural financial management. Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to evaluate the application of technology in the salt processing process to improve operational efficiency and product quality and minimise waste of resources, time, and costs by identifying the challenges and opportunities faced in implementing technology in industrial salt processing, both from the technical, operational, and market aspects.Method: Descriptive analysis through descriptive methods with a literature review approach related to the operational planning of salt processing technology and the salt processing industry business. Data was collected through journals, reports, and documents on technology-based salt processing..Result: The implementation of technology in the production process, such as the use of automated machines, Internet-based monitoring systems, and digital data management, can increase work efficiency, reduce production time, and minimise the potential for human error. Technology enables more consistent production standards, ensuring that the quality of industrial salt produced meets market specifications and customer needs across various sectors, including pharmaceutical, chemical, and food. This research is one of the first conceptual studies to explicitly discuss the operational transformation of the salt industry in Indonesia, particularly at the national company level, such as PT Ladang Garam Nasional, utilising an Industry 4.0 technology approach. The contribution of this research is to provide a technology implementation framework for the salt manufacturing sector, serving as a reference study for other traditional sectors (agriculture, fisheries, etc.) to transform through the adoption of digital technology. Abstract

Introduction: The use of digital technology has transformed the way consumers select goods, particularly in the beauty industry. TikTok, along with the TikTok Shop feature, has become the primary channel for skincare brands to reach customers through content marketing, affiliate programs, customer reviews, and live streaming. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of TikTok's content marketing, affiliate programs, and live streaming on consumers' purchasing decisions for skincare products. Methods: This research employs a quantitative approach, a type of research commonly referred to as a survey. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to students of the Sharia Economics Study Program at Annuqayah University, which was compiled based on research variable indicators. For this study, the probability sampling method was employed to select samples from a hundred respondents. Results: The influence of the three independent variables on the dependent variables was measured simultaneously and partially using multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. Islamic economics students at Annuqayah University have shown an increase in their interest in buying skincare products, thanks to the use of TikTok content affiliates, customer reviews, and live streaming. Additionally, buying interest is significantly influenced by these three independent variables acting simultaneously. Despite the simultaneous influences, the analysis revealed that all three variables collectively accounted for 54.3% of buying interest, while other factors contributed to the remaining 45.7%.
