Abstract

Students of junior high school who are planning to continue their education to vocational school (SMK) must decide the choice, to the field or what majors will be chosen to continue their education later. And this is something quite difficult to decide by most junior high school students, especially those who do not have many references and seek information related to vocational education. Most of them are less mature to choose the majors that exist according to their ability, due to enough new students who fail in the middle of the road when they have been accepted in Vocational High School (SMK). The result of analysis of Analytical Hierarchy Process result calculation stated that the chosen alternative and most appropriate with criteria is Broadcast. With AHP results obtained from 3 respondents who then calculated and obtained the final result that Broadcast excels with a percentage value of 43% versus Accounting 27% and 31% Office Administration. Globally the most important factor prioritized in the selection of majors is the test score with a weighted value of 0.473 or 47% and the most priority majors are Broadcast majors with a score of 47%. The Analytical Hierarchy Process method can help schools in particular to determine some issues regarding the selection of majors. Because the AHP method is a method whose main input is human perception.

Abstract

Quality Assurance for an organization is a must because the organization that guarantees the quality is an organization that always meet the needs and satisfaction of its customers, because satisfied customers will increase to be loyal customers and this means will provide benefits for the organization concerned. University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) has been using Information System for Quality Assurance designed for evaluation of academic service of University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Students can easily access Quality Management Information System (SIMUTU) anywhere and anytime. Because of the importance of SIMUTU for Quality Assurance of Muhammadiyah University of Malang, this research is conducted to determine whether Quality Management Information System (SIMUTU) has been running properly. In this research, analysis and evaluation of Information System using PIECES Framework analysis model with the purpose of measuring the level of satisfaction and importance level and analyzing the components - components what need to be improved again the quality of the waiter at SIMUTU. From 40 respondents got average result of level of satisfaction 3,53 which mean SIMUTU have give satisfaction to student, meanwhile importance level 3,79 which mean SIMUTU implementation is considered important to improve academic service of University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

Abstract

The rapid development of information systems has made changes almost in all areas of human activity, including the management of college libraries. The presence of reliable software (application) library Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS), it is very helpful to the person in charge of college library in managing the library, e.g: inputing the data, searching, borrowing and returning the library collection. The large number of usage of SLiMS application is expected not only because of its Open Source Software or free usage and license but also because of its good application quality. Using the Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability and Portability aspects of ISO 9126 standards, it is possible to test the quality of SLiMS application. The data collection method used is Google Forms in creating and distributing questionnaire and interview to some of the person in charge of college library. The result of data collection is processed to obtain information that SLiMS application classified as VERY GOOD category. It means that SLiMS application which has been used by some of the person in charge of college library, obviously it has excellent quality and very helpful in the management of college libraries.

Abstract

pelayanan penjualan tiket perjalanan pesawat dan saat ini sudah memiliki lebih dari 200 mitra usaha. Kurangnya informasi mitra usaha yang aktif dalam menjalankan dan mempromosikan bisnis penjualan tiket pesawat membuat PT Bandar Madani 165 kesulitan dalam memberikan apresisi penghargaan kepada mitra usaha yang berprestasi dan tidak adanya metode yang digunakan dalam memberikan apresiasi. Oleh karena itu, perlu dibuat sebuah metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dalam membantu membuat keputusan. Pada penelitian ini, untuk mempermudah pengujian digunakan lima alternatif mitra usaha yaitu: TT travel, Putri Persada, Lucia, Celebes, Filkana. dan kriteria-kriteria yang gunakan diantaranya: penjualan, jaringan, publik sepeker, kontrak kerja, dan pengalaman. Validitas diuji dengan menggunakan perhitungan manual menggunakan perhitungan matriks menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peringkat pertama didapatkan oleh TT travel (32%), kedua Celebes (22%), ketiga Putri Persada (17%), keempat Lucia (15%), dan kelima Filkana (11%).

Abstract

Human Computer Interaction (HCI) research and in particular usability aspects for cardiovascular disease (CVD) health monitoring application in the developing countries have been an underresearch phenomenon. In the era of digitization, heart patients are relying more on cardiovascular disease (CVD) health monitoring applications on mobile devices to monitor their hearts’ conditions. In order for the applications to be usable by the CVD patients, several usability aspects such as ease of use, learnability, effectiveness, flexibility and attitude of users are imperative in determining the usability of the applications. This research investigates the integration of usability aspects into CVD health monitoring application by usability engineers and system developers. This research employs Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method on usability aspects of CVD health monitoring applications. This research proposes a conceptual model called the Usability of Cardiovascular Health Monitoring Application Model (uCALM). The model aims to improve the usability aspects of CVD health monitoring application for the benefits of the patients and their cardiologists.

Abstract

Bina Darma University has implemented a digital library which is located in http://digilib.binadarma.ac.id. With this facility, it will be easier for students, faculty, and visitors to obtain information relating to digital documents such as journals, theses or other library activities. However, application of digital library Bina Darma University in Palembang assessed not maximized because of the small number of visitors who use these facilities and prefer to search digital documents such as journals by search engines as a source of information. Human Computer Interaction (HCI) approach method can be used to create a system and within their right to the user. In addition, to facilitate the development, paper prototype method helps in the design of a more complete according to user needs. So, will result in generating a new design that can increase the interest of visitors to access digital library Universitas Bina Darma Palembang as the main alternative in the search for information and as a self-development.

Abstract

Social Assistance is an expenditure in the form of money, goods, or services provided by the central or local government to protect the community from possible social risks, improve economic capacity, and the welfare of the community. In the welfare of society, there is a problem that is still unresolved to date, namely poverty. Poverty is an unresolved social problem in developing countries including Indonesia. In poverty itself, a person is declared poor if his opinion is lower than the poverty line and is unable to meet daily needs. From these problems, further analysis is needed to find the most influential criteria that can be used to maximize the program that has been made so that the economic level in the target household can increase. This research was conducted to analyze the factors that affect the change of economic level using Bayesian Belief Network method. From the scenario that has been done on the test using the Bayesian Belief Network method found that the increase in welfare and savings at community in the village of Srigading can increase the economic change up to 71%.

Abstract

Many pets can be played with, socialize and even live together with humans. Numbers of animal clinics have increased to provide care for pets. This study focuses on Dog as pet. Desease and improper treatment of dog will adversely affect the Dog. In dealing with the problem of Dog disease, Dog owners may experience difficulties due to limited number of clinics and veterinarians, especially in rural areas. As a solution, Artificial Intelligence is used by using expert systems that can help inexperienced medical personnel diagnose early symptoms of Dog disease. The search method used in this research is Forward Chaining and Bayes Theorem method to handle uncertainties that arised. Based on knowledge acquisition, 3 diseases were obtained with 38 simptoms and 60 cases. Based on the tests conducted then obtained the sensitivity value of 80%, the value of accuracy of 88.6% indicates that this expert system is able to diagnose dog diseasesKeywords: Dog, Expert System, Forward Chaining, Bayes Theorem.

Abstract

Risk management in business strategic based on the survey that has been done by UKM Ebjed Kaos Factory, Bantul (Yogyakarta) by doing interview directly toward one of the supervisor of the factory which states that the risk in business can affect the part of benefit from the result of their production, it is because in the last few years the results of the expected profits was in fact not stable by applying the strategy, it needs strategy with a frameworks in their ERP system, so that every process of production that has done can have information data which is programmed, analyzed and compared to the risk level of the previous production. All the information data based on their sample of logistic experience in the last few years with an interview approaches model towards 2 from 16 employees, 1 chief inventory staff and the main leader of their UKM factory. The results of this approach Provides almost 80% information that the author needs. Then the author designs and implements a strategy that can generate relevant Information data for the framework of risk management of every logistic area of their UKM. In conclusion, when they’re consider with an efficient strategy, it will surely make a profit for t if every risk faced can be designed and implemented well.

Abstract

Internet merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dari masyarakat, terutama dikalangan dunia pendidikan dan akademisi seperti Perguruan Tinggi. Tingginya tingkat pengguna internet tidak sebanding dengan fasilitas yang dimiliki suatu instansi, hal ini membuat pengelola jaringan internet di Perguruan Tinggi merasa kesulitan. Penyebab dari permasalahan yang selalu menjadi masalah adalah kecepatan dan koneksi internet yang selalu terputus-putus, sehingga berdampak pada lambatnya proses loading data pada saat melakukan browsing, baik pada saat proses download maupun pada saat proses upload. Untuk pengaturan agar pengguna internet di wilayah kampus seimbang dan stabil maka perlu manajemen bandwidth berdasarkan traffic penggunaan jalur internet lebih baik. Manajemen bandwidth yang bisa menstabilkan lajur traffic dan pembagian bandwidth yang seimbang, maka dapat menggunakan manajemen bandwidth dengan metode Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB). Hasil perhitungan dalam pengujian metode HTB melalui download berkas, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh berdasarkan standar kategori TIPHON untuk indeks parameter throughtput bernilai 2 dengan kategori “Sedang”, indeks parameter delay bernilai 4 dengan kategori “Sangat Bagus”, indeks parameter jitter bernilai 3 dengan kategori “Bagus” dan indeks parameter packet loss bernilai 4 dengan kategori “Sangat Bagus”.
