This study aims to determine the effect of employee selection system on employee competence, determine the effect of employee recruitment on employee competence, determine the effect of employee competence on employee performance and competence can mediate the effect of selection system on employee performance and competence can mediate the effect of recruitment on employee performance at PT Shinta Indah Jaya. The research method used is descriptive and verification. The population in this study were 80 employees with saturated sample method sampling so that the number of samples was the same as the population. The data analysis method uses Path Analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS) using SmartPLS software version3.0.     The results of this study indicate that competency variables, selection and recruitment systems have a positive and significant effect on performance variables, selection and recruitment systems have a positive and significant effect on competency variables. And from the results of the mediation role shows that the role of competence as mediation is proven to affect the selection system on performance, but the role of competence is not proven to mediate the effect of recruitment on the performance of PT Shinta Indah Jaya employees.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the effect of the relationship between human resource management practices and employee engagement on employee performance through organizational commitment as a mediator variable. The approach used in this study uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used a random sample with a total of population 143 employees. Active data in this study was analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software on a computer. The results in this study reveal a significant positive relationship between human resource management practices and employee engagement through organizational commitment on employee performance. Implications for this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the factors that influence employee performance, such as human resource management/HRM practices, employee engagement and organizational commitment. So that the IT Division Project Click Indomaret can improve and improve organizational commitment to get higher employee performance and impact on the company to achieve its goals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine previous research in order to determine the role of competitive advantage as a variable that mediates the effect of differentiation strategy and cost leadership strategy on firm performance. This study applies various theories, namely resource-based-view (RBV) theory, and Market-based-view (MBV) theory to explain the relationship between variables. As a literature study article, this article contributes to developing a conceptual framework on how to combine the two perspectives of generic strategy and competitive different advantages. This article has importance for management and further research considering that not many previous studies have used the theoretical framework to test similar research models. This study has limitations in obtaining research that examines competitive advantage in research with firm performance. This research introduces a new framework that illustrates the contribution of competitive advantage to company performance through the implementation of a differentiation strategy and cost leadership strategy.

Abstract

The popularity of movies has increased in recent years. There are thousands of films produced each year. These films make it challenging for movie lovers to pick the ideal film to see. We propose a recommendation system that strives to offer guidance in selecting films.  Depending on the method employed, recommendation systems can be categorized into three groups: collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid filtering. In this work, collaborative filtering, one of the methods frequently used in recommendation systems was used. There are two ways to the Collaborative Filtering approach: User-Based Collaborative Filtering (UBCF) and Item-Based Collaborative Filtering (IBCF). There are two methods for finding similar items or users: Cosine and Pearson similarities. The Cosine similarity approach is one way to determine how similar two items are. Additionally, the Pearson Correlation Coefficient approach, which determines similarities between objects by calculating linear correlations between two sets, is the most widely employed. This study aims to determine which system produces the highest item similarity in IBCF and predicted ratings to actual ratings using 90% training and 10% testing data. The data set taken from MovieLens.org consists of 943 users from 1664 movies with 99392 ratings. The MovieLens data collection will be analyzed with the RStudio and the R package recommenderlab. The results reveal that the IBCF with Cosine similarities shows the number of items recommended n top-rated movies to each user for 10 movies. The IBCF can identify the most recommended films and creates a frequency distribution of items.

Abstract

This research trying to explains the management of the nation's economic development based on preserving the environment, which is the forest. This is because economic development has always been identified with environmental damage, including deforestation. As one of the countries with the largest tropical rainforest globally, Indonesia is automatically one of the focuses on its economic development is utilizing existing forestry resources. This causes a massive deforestation process, so the international community pressures Indonesia by accusing Indonesia of being one of the world's countries that cause climate change. Therefore, currently, the Government of Indonesia has established a Green Economy Development Program to overcome the problem of climate change caused by economic activities. The idea of Green Economic Development is essential to discuss because of the nation's priority for strong economic growth and sustainable development. One form of green economic development is to introduce the hutanomics concept, a concept of economic development management that is harmonized and based on the interests of forests and nature, which the author has adopted as the theme of this research. With a qualitative approach, the descriptive method, the researcher explains the management of the nation's economic development based on preserving the environment, which is the forest. Research findings show that economic development does not always have to come at the expense of the environment like deforestation. One of the concepts introduced is Hutanomics (Forest Economic), a management concept of economic development by aligning economic interests with the interests of forests and nature. Environmental impact analysis is critical to Hutanomics because it involves the claims of nature and the necessity of a collaboration between the government, the corporate world, and the community, each with their own functions

This study purposes to observe on how much influence the asset structure, sales growth, liquidity, and asset growth have on the capital structure of PT. Kereta Api during 2016-2021 periods. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The technique taken is a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. By using e-views12 the results in this study indicate that partially asset structure has no significant effect on capital structure, sales growth has a significant effect on capital structure, liquidity does not have a significant effect on capital structure, and asset growth has a significant effect on capital structure, as well as simultaneously asset structure, sales growth, liquidity and asset growth have a significant effect on the capital structure

Abstract

Although marketing and entrepreneurship are not new concepts, in times of social restrictions due to the pandemic generated by Covid 19, which has limited at least half of the world's population, marketing and entrepreneurship, such as MSMEs, have been significantly impacted. The intensity of consumers and the declining flow of goods and services resulted in a reduction in the income of business actors and a decrease in the flow of goods and services traded. This study discusses marketing and entrepreneurship in the era of social restriction policies. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of the study show that the decline in marketing as a result of COVID-19 has caused entrepreneurs who are generally SMEs to transform into digital entrepreneurs by adopting digital technology and digital marketing. . However, in this study, the authors also found that the process of transformation into a digital entrepreneur cannot be done without the support of the government through the promotion of digitalization of the entrepreneurial sector such as the entrepreneurship sector. In general, the conclusion from the entrepreneurial side is that businesses must grow according to consumer needs, namely where they want to go and under any conditions. This is where the need to transform marketing and entrepreneurship into digital entrepreneurship and digital marketing.

Abstract

Study this aim for knowing role Performance Finance Area on the Economic Growth of Regency/City in Sumatra Island. Data The research is secondary data in the form of Local Government Budget Realization Reports and 2010 Series GRDP Growth Rate based on Regency/City Expenditure in Sumatra island Year 2017-2021. Population in study this totaling 10 regencies/cities on the island of Sumatra, with the determination of the sample ie saturated sample. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. Analysis results indicates Ratio independence (RK), Ratio Effectiveness (RE), and Ratio Growth (RP) is rejected which means that RK, RE, and RP do not significantly affect significant to Growth Economy area in Sumatra island. Whereas RE received which means RE influence significant to Growth Economy area in Sumatra island. Thing the indicates the level of financing in order to obtain income with realization income already efficient. Besides that, RK, RE, and RP by together influence Growth Economy area in Sumatra island
