Abstract

Dalam teori peluang diperlukan penghitungan banyaknya anggota ruang contoh. Salah satu ruang contoh yang akan dihitung jumlah anggotanya adalah masalah yang dikenal dengan pembagian n benda ke dalam r tempat. Ruang contoh dihitung dengan rumus dengan n ³ r dan diperbolehkan adanya tempat yang kosong. Dalam penelitian ini tidak diperbolehkan ada tempat yang kosong. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simulasi terhadap nilai n dan r. Berdasarkan simulasi dengan r £ n.

Abstract

Diode Lasers (LD) and light emitting diodes (LEDS) have been used for fluorescence imaging due to their low cost and wavelength varieties. The fluorescence Imaging has recently been developed as a nonde-structive method for fruit and vegetable quality assessments. This research was aimed to study the potential use of both light sources in fluorescence imaging techniques for grading palm oil fresh fruit bunches in attempt to develop a laser based grading system. The system consisted of a 650 nm LD and a 680 nm LED with the same 5 mW output power. and a monochrome CMOS camera with a camera lens, and a color filter. The filter used to obtain the fluorescene intensity was an orange filter. The samples were Tenera varieties of lonsum loosed palm oil fresh fruits with 4 ripeness categories determined by an experienced harvester. The categories were underripe (f0), ripe 1 (f1), ripe 2 (f2) and ripe 3(f3), each with 3 duplicates.The recorded images of the loosed fruits were analyzed using imageJ software, and further compared.The result showed that the highest fluorescence intensities represented by the gray values of the images were obtained from the underripe (f0) fruits, followed by the ripe 2 (f2), ripe 3(f3), and, ripe 1(f1) fruits, for both light sources.The intensity levels ob-tained using LD were higher by 75.32a.u for underripe (f0), 52.35 a.u for ripe 1(f1), 57.18a.u for ripe 2(f2), and 55.11 a.u for ripe 3(f3) than those resulted from LEDS by 24.57a.u for underripe(f0), 19.71 a.ufor ripe 1(f1), 22.91 a.ufor ripe 2(f2), 21.78 a.u.for ripe 3(f3). There are two reasons for higher results obtained user laser, due to their differencesin wavelength, and beam shape.

Abstract

This Research aim to develop a model which can explain factors influencing student achievement. Variables in this research in the form of laten variable and causal relationship between a set of variables nor modestly, there is direct and indirectly relationship. Therefore, there used a Structural Equation Models (SEM) analyse method. Data in this research is obtained by through questionnaire from Mathematics FMIPA Unsri Majors student sample as much 128 responder. Result of analysis indicate that student perception to dosen variable have an positive effect directly to student motivation variable as well as having an positive effect indirectly through motivation variable to achievement variable which signifikan that is each equal to 0.46 and 0.4784. Furthermore, motivate to learn variable have an positive effect to student achievement variable equal to 1,04.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan isolasi dan identifikasi komponen utama dari fraksi aktif sitotoksik kulit batang jambu kaliang (Eugene cumini Druce) dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut methanol. Ekstrak methanol difraksinasi dengan pelarut n-heksan, diklorometan dan diuji aktitas sititoksiknya dengan metode uji kematian larva udang dalam air garam. Fraksi n-heksan menunjukkan aktifitas sitotoksik tertinggi dengan LC50 35 ppm. Dari fraksi n-heksan berhasil diisolasi kristal jarum berwarna putih dengan titik leleh 112 - 114°C sebanyak 206,5 mg dan positif steroid. Spektrum ultravioled senyawa hasil isolasi memberikan serapan maksimum pada λmaks 205,2 nm yang menunjukkan adanya transisi π à π’ untuk ikatan rangkap  terisolasi. Spektrum infra merah senyawa hasil isolasi memberikan puncak serapan pada bilangan gelombang 3412,8 cm-1, 1049,4 cm-1, 2919,2-2848,7 cm-1, 1748,7 cm-1, 1466,4 cm-1 dan 1378,4 cm-1, yang masing-masing menunjukkan adanya gugus O-H, C-O alkohol, C-H alifatik, C=C terisolasi, C-H siklopentana dan C-H isopropyl. Spektrum masa senyawa hasil isolasi memberikan puncak dasar m/z 213 dan puncak ion molekul pada m/z 414. Berdasarkan data yang ada diduga bahwa senyawa hasil isolasi adalah stigmast-7en-3-ol dengan rumus molekul C29H50O.

Abstract

The effect of environmental condition on lipid production of marine microalgae Nanochloropsys were observed. Basicy, the amount of total lipids depend on the NaCl and nitrogen concentration on culture medium. The total lipid highest yield (31.45%) was obtained in cell grown at 20% NaCl and 3.0 mM N. And the lowest yield (7.23%) obtained in cell grown at 10% NaCl and 6.0 mM N. The result showed that Nanochloropsys containing high amount of total lipid, and suggested to be used as suplemental ingredient for food to exceed the body performance.

Abstract

T2 Hotelling have been used succesfully as a multivariate statistical process control tool for detecting fault in processes with correlated variabels. In the present work, principal component analysis (PCA) is proposed for improvement of monitoring performance, i.e. PCA finds linier combination of  variabels that describe major trends in data set, furthermore PCA can be used ro reduced dimensionality. The number of principal component used for contruction is usually smaller than that original variabels. The result show that althought the reability of PCA is the same as T2 Hotelling methode in many cases or simulation data, but reduction variabels make the process be simple.

Abstract

Fungsi nilai mutlak adalah suatu fungsi yang aturannya memuat nilai mutlak. Nilai mutlak suatu bilangan real x, dinyatakan dengan |x|, didefinisikan sebagaiFungsi ini merupakan fungsi khusus yang menarik, karena memiliki ciri khas yang berbeda dari fungsi lain terutama proses pencarian solusi dan penyajian yang berbentuk grafik. Fungsi nilai mutlak dapat diselesaikan dan digambar grafiknya dengan cara mengubah bentuk aturan fungsi nilai mutlak tersebut sehingga diperoleh suatu fungsi dengan banyak persamaan yang memenuhi daerah definisinya. Fungsi nilai mutlak memiliki limit di suatu titik namun tidak terdiferensialkan dititiktersebut, sehingga fungsi nilai mutlak tidak kontinu di titik tersebut.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan isolasi asam humat dari tanah gambut berasal dari Indralaya Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan dengan menggunakan ekstraksi alkali sesuai dengan yang direkomendasi oleh IHSS (International Human Acid Substance Society) dengan sedikit modifikasi, analisis asam humat hasil isolasi meliputi konfirmasi spektra FTIR dan penentuan kuantitatif gugus karboksilat dan –OH fenolat asam humat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa senyawa humat hasil isolasi mempunyai kandungan gugus fungsional asam karboksilat, -OH fenolat dan keasaman total berturut-turut sebesar 353 cmol/kg, 367 cmol/kg dan 720 emol/kg serta kandungan N total sebesar 1,75% dan C/N organik sebesar 6,75.

Abstract

The spread of tuberculosis (TB) among individuals in the population can be described by the epidemic  model, which is a mathematical model that divides the population into four subpopulations i.e. susceptible ( ), exposed ( ), infected ( ), and recovered ( ). The objective of this research is to build an epidemic  model for TB transmission by involving total therapy rate ( ) in infected subpopulation.  To illustrate the effects of , a numerical simulation  with different values of    was also carried out using R software. The results showed that the greater value of the total therapy rate, the decrease in the number of in­dividuals in infected subpopulation  became faster.

Abstract

Misal {Yt, t=0,1,2,...} adalah proses autoregersif orde satu atau AR(1) yang stasioner. Asumsikan proses tersebut adalah Gaussin dengan parameter waktu distrik. Misal memberikan data berukuran n, yakni y1, y2, ..., yn. Selanjutnya akan dikaji interval prediksi untuk yn+k, dengan k tertentu dan k>, yang memuat yn+k dengan peliang 1-α. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkonstruksikan prediksi interval bootstrap dan prediksi satu langkah ke depan (one-step-ahead), yakni yn+1, hasil-hasil yang diperoleh akan dibuktikan dengan menggunakan ekspansi Edgeworth dan juga inversnya, yakni ekspansi Cornish-Fisher.
