Abstract

In District 2 Banyu Asin (BNA) Pertamina Field Cepu there are 2 wells that function as Pumping Units (PU). This Pumping Unit uses an artificial Pumping Unit system with a Gas Engine. The location of these 2 pump-ing wells is very far from the source of the electricity network provided by PLN, so that for the operation of urgent lighting needs, generators are still used. The generator used has had a history of trouble which caused the power source to experience blackouts. This results in additional problems in operating the Pumping Unit if the generator power goes out at night. This study uses piezoelectricity, which is a component that can accumu-late an electric charge as a result of mechanical pressure. The energy generated by the piezoelectric will be stored in the battery via a boost converter. The battery will supply voltage and current to the lamp which will illuminate the location. In the process of charging the battery, the voltage will be stabilized by the PID system. The PID system will use the zieger nichols 2 method.

Abstract

In the current era, advances in information technology have led to an urgent need for more efficient management systems and services, especially in the context of children's services. Certified Independent Study offers students the opportunity to prepare themselves in full stack web development, with the aim of producing high quality and competitive web applications. The developed children's center web application is designed to handle various aspects of children's administration and services as a whole. The main features of the application include registration, health monitoring, education management, as well as coordination of social activities. This integrated platform not only allows parents and related parties to access real-time information but also facilitates better collaboration in providing optimal services to children. The research shows that the method applied in the development of this application is effective in improving efficiency and ease of use, with the results of the System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment reaching an average of 83.3 which indicates the predicate "Good". Thus, this child service center web application is expected to be an innovative solution to overcome various challenges in child services and support holistic growth and development of children.

Abstract

Batu bata merah digunakan sebagai bahan non-struktural untuk dinding pembatas gedung. Dibutuhkan peningkatan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan karena penggunaan batu bata di Kabupaten Majene sampai saat ini tidak seimbang dengan kontrol kualitas yang ada di lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sifat fisik dan mekanik batu bata merah di Kabupaten Majene yang disesuaikan dengan SNI 15-2094-2000. Sebanyak tujuh penjual batu bata di Kabupaten Majene dipilih untuk menganalisis sifat fisik dan mekanik dari bahan uji. Pemeriksaan awal di lapangan meliputi pemeriksaan campuran tanah yang digunakan, lama pengeringan, jenis pembakaran, dan teknik pembakaran. Sifat tampak, ukuran bata merah, dan kandungan garam juga diperiksa secara fisik. Selain itu, dilakukan pemeriksaan sifat mekanik seperti pengujian kerapatan semu, penyerapan air, dan kuat tekan. Hasil menunjukkan sifat fisik semua lokasi tidak memenuhi standar SNI 15-2094-2000 tetapi hasil pemeriksaan sifat mekanik sebanyak 9 lokasi memenuhi kriteria mutu kuat tekan kelas 150 sesuai SNI 15-2094-2000

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu proyek sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas dan kuantitas sumber dayanya dan yang paling penting adalah tenaga kerja. Namun hal ini sering disepelekan dengan penyediaan yang tidak efektif dengan alasan mempercepat proyek. Pada proyek pembangunan saluran drainase di jalan Perintis kota Balikpapan dengan panjang saluran 1.186,3 Meter dan durasi pelaksanaan 167 hari kalender mengalami fluktuasi dan kurang meratanya persebaran pada tenaga kerja, dimana sebelum diterapkan Resource Levelling jumlah tenaga kerja maksimum sebanyak 94 orang. Oleh sebab itu diterapkan Resource Levelling menggunakan microsoft Project dengan cara melakukan Reschedule hubungan antar pekerjaan dan dihasilkan jumlah tenaga kerja maksimum setelah diterapkan Resource Levelling berjumlah 93 orang.

Abstract

The development of construction technology is currently experiencing rapid progress, with many software programs in the construction field based on the concept of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Among the seven aspects of BIM, one aspect in construction planning is cost estimation planning, also known as BIM 5D. This study aims to analyze the application of the BIM 5D concept using Autodesk Revit 2021 Student Version software. The purpose of this research is to analyze the volume and cost planning using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) 5D concept in structural works, particularly in rebar, concrete, and roof structure works of the Villa construction project on Mulawarman Street, Balikpapan. The method used is to compare the consultant's analysis and BIM analysis. The research results show that the volume with the BIM 5D concept in rebar works is 8.63% smaller than the consultant's analysis, with the BIM 5D concept in concrete works is 9.55% smaller than the consultant's analysis, and with the BIM 5D concept in roof structure works is 64.12% smaller than the consultant's analysis. As for cost calculations, the BIM 5D concept in rebar works is 8.62% smaller than the consultant's analysis, with the BIM 5D concept in concrete works is 9.44% smaller than the consultant's analysis, and with the BIM 5D concept in roof structure works is 64.12% smaller than the consultant's analysis. The conclusion of this research is to identify and evaluate how the use of BIM can affect cost estimation for consultants.

Abstract

This Studies, we conducted experiments on several insulation materials in outdoor electrical panel boxes to determine the recommended materials for reducing the temperature produced by heat generated due to hot sunlight. The insulation materials used include Styrofoam, Plywood and GRC. The experiment carried out was by exposing the insulated panel box to sunlight. The results of the experiments carried out showed an increase in temperature of up to 40.10C for standard box panels without insulation, 33.880C for box panels with Styrofoam insulation, 36.780C for Plywood insulation and 36.050C for GRC insulation. From the experimental results, panel boxes without insulation experienced a very high increase, so that the potential could cause damage to components inside the panel box more quickly. Meanwhile, the box panels that are most stable in maintaining temperature are those that use Styrofoam insulation. Based on these results, Styrofoam material is highly recommended to be used as insulation material for electrical panel boxes

Abstract

Profil Hexagonal Castellated adalah struktur dengan elemen berbentuk hexagonal yang saling terhubung untuk membentuk rangkaian yang optimal dan tepat. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa kekuatan pada profil WF yang dimodifikasi menjadi profil Hexagonal Castellated dengan variasi sudut bukaan yaitu 30°,45° dan 60°. Analisa dilakukan dengan metode LRFD dengan menggabungkan faktor beban dan faktor ketahanan untuk menentukan kekuatan struktur dengan lebih akurat. Faktor beban mencakup beban mati,beban hidup dan beban angina, sedangkan faktor ketahanan mencakup faktor keamanan terhadap kegagalan profil dan material. Kekuatan profil hexagonal castellated ditinjau dari kekuatan geser dan kekuatan lenturnya.Hasil dari analisa variasi sudut bukaan 30°,45° dan 60° didapatkan nilai teganagan geser terbesar pada sudut bukaan 30° yaitu 156,81 MPa  dan nilai tegangan lentur terbesar pada sudut bukaan 45° yaitu 102,21 MPa

Abstract

IPA waste sludge contains pollutants that can damage rivers. To reduce this, this research focuses on using mud to make bricks. This research also aims to make bricks without burning to minimize air pollution. Generally, bricks made without burning use cement to strengthen their strength. However, this research explores using biocemented Bacillus huizhouensis bacteria as a substitute for cement to strengthen bricks without burning. By adding a bacterial solution to the brick mixture, research found an increase in compressive strength of 59.78%, which was 1.47 MPa compared to normal bricks without bacterial reinforcement of 0.92 MPa. This study shows the potential for using the bacteria Bacillus huizhouensis to increase the strength of bricks while reducing pollution.

Abstract

Technological advances have entered the 5.0 revolution, where technology in various fields, especially construction, is thriving. The technology is particularly useful in modeling, planning, cost and volume estimation, continuity, and building management. Almost all areas of work have now adopted automation with the use of software, including AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction). One of the technologies in the AEC field is Building Information Modelling (BIM), the BIM 5D Concept has proven to be efficient in handling cost control, as research shows that there is a minimal difference in computation in cost estimation. This study implemented BIM 5D on the Type 300 2-story boarding house construction project in Sepinggan Lestari Housing, Balikpapan. Based on the project's previous cost calculations, MS Excel and 2D images were then compared to Revit software. With a contract value of Rp. 3,275,204,419, the cost of concrete and ironing each is IDR. 156,929,007 and Rp. 550.910.751. Analysis shows that the use of BIM 5D results in more efficient volume and cost calculations than conventional methods. The volume calculation difference for ironing was 6.92%, and for concrete was 15.06%. The difference in ironing costs was 11.54%, and concrete was 15.06%, indicating that the consultant's calculated volume was greater than that of Revit. This study concluded that the implementation of BIM 5D could improve the accuracy of cost and efficiency calculations in construction projects.

Abstract

Jalan merupakan salah satu jenis prasarana transportasi darat yang memegang peranan penting bagi pengembangan suatu daerah. Sesuai UU nomor 38 tahun 2004. jalan arteri adalah jalan umum yang dapat digunakan oleh kendaraan angkutan. Ciri-ciri dari jalan ini seperti memiliki jarak perjalanan yang jauh, kecepatan termasuk tinggi, hingga adanya pembatasan secara berdaya guna pada jumlah jalan masuk. Jalan Arteri terbagi dalam dua klasifikasi salah satunya adalah jalan arteri sekunder. Jalan Arteri sekunder menghubungkan kawasan primer dengan sekunder begitu juga untuk kawasan sekunder ke-1 dan ke-2 kecepatan kendaraan paling rendah di sini adalah 30 km/jam lebar badan jalan juga Minimal 11 m serta tidak boleh terganggu oleh lalu lintas lambat. Jalan Pramuka merupakan salat satu bagian kecamatan yang dilalui oleh jalan arteri sekunder pada kota semarang. Kerusakkan jalan pada Jalan Pramuka, Kecamatan Banyumanik, Kota Semarang pada STA 0 + 199,8 – STA 0 +394,8 telah teridentifikasi sebesar kurang lebih 0,5 m2 pada tahun 2023.Kerusakan jalan dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya air, perubahan suhu, cuaca, temperatur udara, material konstruksi perkerasan, kondisi tanah dasar yang tidak stabil, proses pemadatan di atas lapisan tanah dasar yang kurang baik dan tonase atau muatan kendaraankendaraan berat yang melebihi kapasitas serta volume kendaraan yang semakin meningkat.
