Electricity is major requirement in today's society. As an important source of energy for household, industrial even government. The increasing demand of electricity itself caused waste of energy. The energy use can be monitored by Kwh meter, to determine how much elecrity that has been used in room is not yet possible. Electricity monitoring usage system in the room using NodeMcu and MQTT (Message Queueing Telemetry Transport) would be a right solution. NodeMcu microcontroller as MQTT client publisher is using C++ program and using PubSubClient library. Then we perform a test to measure system performance of each node for monitoring electricty used in the room. There is a different value of amphere when we conduct the test that is 0-03 ampere when there is no electronic devices activity and 0.17 ampere when there is an activity of electronic device. It is possible to send the data using mqtt and the results can be displayed in grapchical form. At each node 1, 2, and 3 the diffrence is 1.50463 - 6.92544 watt-hour when the hair conditioner at level 1, iron and laptop is on, 1.4475-4.3209 watt-hour when the hair dryer at level 2, iron, and laptop is on and 0.094254-2.981733 watt-hour when all of the electronic devices is off.

The needs of an extended time of observation monitoring in a remote location without suffice energy resource to accommodate has become the challenge of the future development of wireless sensor node. Wireless sensor node can deploy more than 1 unit in the remote area. So there must be a method to arrange a schedule of data delivery from the node to base station. So this research conducts to configure a time scheduling for data sending and sleepy low power mode to more than 1 node to make it compatible without affecting the system. Researcher applying a low power mode that using the Jeelib library that have been approved to lowering current usage in Arduino microcontroller for almost 14.5 mA at sensor reading phase, 11.2 mA at data sending phase, 14.3 mA at idle phase. Then the next part is to configure low power mode with compatible Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) so the node can have a fix schedule about their phase. After the research, the result came that the clock time in the node can synchronized with the base station using Timing-sync Protocol for Network (TPSN) algorithm method in 30 seconds average of synchronization process. The node gets a fix schedule for data sending phase for each and low power mode kick in the microcontroller to sleep until next data sending phase without affecting the system works.

Internet of things (IoT) can be utilized for controlling and monitoring at a particular place such as home, commonly called Smarthome. One of the protocols which is deemed appropriate for the implementation of IoT and the Smarthome is MQTT protocol that has publish/subscribe communication mechanism. In which it requires network protocols, also supporting devices such as a sensor DHT11 which will be used to read the temperature conditions in Smarthome, the LDR which is a sensor of light intensity, LED lights that will represent controlling devices in Smarthome and microcontroller which acts as an actuator. Microcontrollers used in this study is a microcontroller Wemos D1 R2 which has a module ESP8266 that supports the establishment of a wireless network. In this research, a simple prototype of Smarthome is built, where two pieces of LED lights will go on and or out based on the value of temperature and light sensor data, then controlled through the application of the control system. The application can also display temperature and light sensor data in graph form as a function of the monitoring control system. The test result showed the number of packets sent using protocol MQTT at a time affect the delta time, wherein the shorter the sending time the smaller the delta time value, and the integrity value of data which is sent and received through MQTT protocl is 100%.

Robot arm or commonly known as Robot Manipulator is one types of robot that mostly used by the industrial society. Robot arm is generally controlled by a joystick and button. The inventor wanted to design a robot arm control system using sensors accelerometer combined with microcontroller Arduino UNO. Robot manipulator will be controlled by a human hand and arm so that the robot can follow the movements of the hand and arm. Microcontroller hardware implementation is suitable with the design in the microcontroller which uses 2 modules MPU6050 accelerometer sensor, an Arduino Nano, also cable as a medium for data transmission. This microcontroller as the data receiver from the accelerometer sensor 1 and 2 which then being processed and produced by output that will end on the robot manipulator. Test placing of sensor aims to determine the value of each sensor position on the arm and to know the right position to put the accelerometer sensor. In this test the result value can change, when the sensor is placed on the arm at a distance of 10cm from shoulder is 151â°-152â°, 18cm from shoulder 157â°-158â°. This is because the accelerometer sensor mpu6050 has high sensitivity when mounted on a moving object, the sensor values can change quickly even though the object is only moving little bit

Due to the high demand of public transport, travel agency must be ready to serve the citizen. Travel need to be ready to serve the customer; called customer service. Customer service should provide information that is precise, accurate and fast to customers. At Travel Kangaroo which owns more than 300 fleet, has two locations namely central office and branches as well as long operating hours, a responsive customer service needed to serve the customers There are various rules that must be fulfilled in making the schedule of customer service too. Thus, in this study scheduling problems solved using genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithms can solve a complex problem as well as it has wide scope. Through the examination, it was obtained the best parameters that produce the most optimal fitness value with a population size of 110, 110 and comparison generation size crossover rate and mutation rate of 0.7: 0.3. By using these parameters, scheduling customer service have optimal results, although there are violations that occur with shorter computation time compared with the manual.

Writing is a way to deliver and share information among people. It is now even easier to do because of the help of technology such as computers, smartphones and internet. For example, writing and publication of research journal is made to share and enhance knowledge. Generally, the publication of research journal is accommodated by educational institutions both national and international such as JTIIK (Jurnal Teknologi Informasi & Ilmu Komputer) Faculty of Computer Science UB. Before journal is published, a journal should pass editing process by editor to check if there is some mistake and deficiency such as spelling error. However, in their work, editor also accidentally making mistake that will lead to many error spelling that still exist even though editing process has been done. Some misspelled word can change the meaning of knowledge that the author want to deliver and cause misunderstanding of information among the readers. Based on these problems, researcher propose error spelling detection and correction system using Dictionary Lookup and Damerau-Levenshtein Distance. Dictionary Lookup method is considered effective in determining a word including validity or invalidity of the word based on availability or unavailability of the word in Lexical Resource. In addition, Damerau-Levenshtein Distance can provide better correction than Levenshtein Distance. The best precision and recall result for correction simultaneously are 0.78 and 1 from second test scenario.

At this moment, there are so many data transfer among the system of computation. And with the term of internet of things where many relations which create a network consist of man to machine relation as well as machine to machine. Also the transferred data are various. Started with numeric data up to character data. And there is sensoric data which began to develop on usage of internet of things such as smarthome. With this many variety of data, create some issues of needs which one of them is a container of data or could be called database. In this research, the compared database are MySQL database and MongoDB database to compares which type of database is better to send sensoric data into the database. There are hardwares which are used for implementing the scenario are Arduino Uno Microcontrollerboard and LM35 IC. And there are softwares to support this research such as PHP programming language. The test of the system will be started with sending sensor data into 1 table, 2 table, and 3 table to each of database with 10 times data transfer so that we obtain the execution time of insert query as a compared parameter of database.

Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases that can cause death and one of the diseases heredity. Most people do not care about a healthy lifestyle. Health is very important in everyday life. The public is less aware of the problem of health care so that the rate of deaths worldwide has increased. The public salso did not understand the similarity of the symptoms of disease appear not treated quickly lead to disease. To overcome these problems invented a system for the identification of diabetes mellitus using the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN). Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN) is one method of classification is based on the number of class occurrence on data mining. There are 15 symptoms and 2 types of diseases are used as parameters in development of the system. An output as the result produced by the system is diagnosis of the type of disease and how to control. Based on method, this research obtain 93,33% of good accuracy and error rate of 6,67%. The system using of method Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN) can be applied in society based on result.

Incubator's Ideal temperature is one of important factors that need to consider in egg hatching process. By designing an automation system using fuzzy logic, the ideal temperature can be maintained. The system using NI LabVIEW as graphical programming language software to design the user interface monitoring temperature in incubator. There are few membership functions and models in fuzzy logic. However, still there is no guideline about selection of membership amount and fuzzy model of parameters that using in fuzzy process. In this research, compare and analyze the difference between system that didn't using fuzzy logic and system that using fuzzy logic with variant amount of memberships, those are 3, 5 and 7 memberships, where in each variant is using different model, those are Gaussian, Trapezoid, and Triangle. Based on the result of testing, difference of those three variant memberships is 12.9 and difference of those three fuzzy models is 0.8. Furthermore, amount of membership affects the output of fuzzy system, while fuzzy model is not really affected the output fuzzy system. In temperature testing, the result shows the system that didn't using fuzzy logic method took a long time to reach ideal temperature rather than system that using fuzzy logic method. Fuzzy system that using 7 memberships got smallest difference is 0.49 and took fastest time to get ideal temperature.

This study discusses the acceptance of Windows 10 as operating system for desktop. This study is based on the seven constructs of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) from Venkatesh et al. (2012) without moderate constructs who processed with Structural Equation Model (SEM). The respondents were teenage users in Indonesia. The result showed that effort expectancy, facilitating condition and price value do not have a significant positive impact on behavioral intentions while performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation and habit had a significant positive effect on behavior intention. On the other hand, facilitating condition and habit factors influence use behavior while behavior intention do not have a positive impact on use behaviour to use Windows 10.
