Abstract

Academic Information System is an essential system in performing academic activities. Universitas Brawijaya are using Academic Information System named SIAKAD-UB. SIAKAD-UB is an information systems that deal with all kinds of student details and academic related reports. SIAKAD-UB encountered many problems along with the growth of data. This study aims to discover factor impact on problems of interface usability found in existing SIAKAD-UB using Heuristic Evaluation and Think Aloud method. This study involving 3 experts and 3 operators with the purpose of the evaluation received input from the experts and users. The result of experiment are find 3 problem heuristic with score 0 which mean no usability problem, 7 problem heuristic with score 1 which mean medium priority refinement, 7 problem heuristic with score 2 which mean low priority refinement, 7 problem heuristic with score 3 which mean high priority refinement. Heuristic evaluation and think aloud find 7 aspect refinement are Visibility of system status, Match between system and the real world, User control and freedom, Consistency and standards, Recognition rather than recall, Flexibility and efficiency of use, Help and documentation.

Abstract

Public information is information resultant, saved, and / or received from with regard to the organizers and the implementation of other public bodies in accordance with the Act as well as other information relating to the public interest. Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia no. 14 years 2008 about public information openess explain that every one have right to get information as written in the Law on public Information. Based on result of interview with someone from Kominfo's Probolinggo city, dissemination information by "Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID)” Probolinggo city with two manners, that is dissemination informations with electronic and non-electronic. in the spread informations via electronic in website untill now not been evaluated. evaluation is an effort to carry out the development and improvement of the system To see the extent to which the website provides convenience to the community then be required for analysis of the extent to which the quality of the website. Analysis of the quality of government websites can be done using e-GovQual dimensional approach which will then be determined priority to the problems found using Importance Performance Analysis. after found problems priority will be given recommendations for websites improvement using Heuristic Evaluation approach. From the results of existing recommendations, so it can be used as a reference by the Government of Probolinggo to develop the website so even easier to use by the public. Based on the results, there are fact that the level of satisfaction of the user community in using the website PPID Kota Probolinggo on perception of the average of 2.99 and an average interest rate of 4.07 on a scale of 5. But there are parameters of perception based on instrument e-GovQual question, ie in that ease of use with value 2.7 which indicates dissatisfaction with the structure of the website. In addition, there are parameters of perception based on instrument e-GovQual question on ease of use, reliability and the content and appearance with a value of 4.2 which indicates the importance of the ability to make adjustments, perform timely service delivery, speed of transactions and completeness data and information on the website.

Abstract

This study discusses the acceptance of Windows 10 as operating system for desktop. This study is based on the seven constructs of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) from Venkatesh et al. (2012) without moderate constructs who processed with Structural Equation Model (SEM). The respondents were teenage users in Indonesia. The result showed that effort expectancy, facilitating condition and price value do not have a significant positive impact on behavioral intentions while performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation and habit had a significant positive effect on behavior intention. On the other hand, facilitating condition and habit factors influence use behavior while behavior intention do not have a positive impact on use behaviour to use Windows 10.

Abstract

UC Browser as a service provider of mobile browser has a market share of 28.51% in the domestic market that drove it into the most popular mobile browser. Many groups have done review and testing of the UC Browser showed mixed results. Some user complained about several problems in UC Browser. This impacts on the decrease of UC Browser monthly page view in 2016. Therefore it is necessary to do research on the acceptance of users to find out what factors affect the usage of UC Browser. This research combine Task Technology Fit (TTF) and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with construct Attitude in order to know the user acceptance of the UC Browser. Data collection was done using online questionnaires. The collected data was then analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that behavior intention along with task technology fit have positive effect on use behavior. The research model can only explain 54.9% of the variance in the formation of UC Browser usage behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the research model so that the prediction accuracy of the model variants increased.

Abstract

Traveling is an activity that can be done for spending holiday. However, the tour guide is still limit so that Guide Me! was made. Guide Me! is a system web-based that can help traveler who visited East Java for searching tour guide. This research focus on how developing user interface Guide Me! with involving user. A Method that can be involve user through the development is Human-Centered Design (HCD). HCD is a method for developing interactive system that focusing on making system that can be used and useful. This research will discuss about developing user interface Guide Me! from context of use, user requirement, making design solution and evaluating design solution. The result from this research showed that user interface design after applied HCD had better usability than before applied HCD. For effectivity aspect, the result was 96% for traveler and 96% for tour guide. For efficiency aspect, average time result was decreased than average time result in first design. Then, for user satisfaction, the result was better because it has fifteen statements good and only one statement bad for traveler and thirteen statements good and three statements bad for tour guide.

Abstract

Software testing has an important role to knowing and maintaining the quality of a software. In software testing process, test case is necessary. However, test case generation require a relatively long time, so automatic test case generation with a certain algorithm are conduct. The purpose of this research are to compare genetic algorithm mutation analysis and genetic algorithm sampling approach. That's two approach wil be implemented and analyzed the result. In terms of the final result, will be revealed the reduction of the number of test case that occurs. Number of iteration, cumulative number of individuals, number of fitness evaluation, and size of the resulting test suites will be variable comparison between that's two approach. The conclusion of this research are the genetic algorithm mutation analysis approach is better than genetic algorithm sampling approach in terms of the reduction number of test case and for all comparison variable that applied.

Abstract

This research is applying Multi-Criteria Evaluation (MCE) method to analyze the land suitability of residential in Malang. Criteria such as safety, convenience, and compatibility are used in this research based on Indonesia National Standard procedure of housing environment planning in urban area. There are two MCE techniques that are used; those are WLC and OWA techniques. Both techniques are giving different results, and the closest result to the reality is the OWA technique. Then the results of both techniques are validated using ROC analysis method. The percentage of the OWA model is showing 79%, while WLC model is only showing 67%. Then, WLC and OWA models are incorporated into geographic information systems that have been tested using Black-box and White-box methods in order to make the Malang's society can access it

Abstract

One of programs that being held by KOMINFO JATIM is ‘Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat' that have a purpose to increase the public participation to contribute for sharing an information on their region. Based on observation and interview , KIM program has not been able to run well becasuse of some problems. The absence of control mechanism in the KIM program, such as controlling the incoming article and controlling the registered kim members. The previous alternative controls are done manually which creates new problems that are poor data management. Base on these problem, KIM information system are being developed to serve as a medium for the implementation of the KIM program. Development method used is waterfall method. The Naive Bayes method is used to classify unexpected articles (spam). Then used the feature of laravel that is middleware to manage role available in KIM information system. In testing, basic path tests, validation testing, compatibility tests, and user acceptance tests were performed. For classificatoin feature, test is done by using coincidence matrix table to get the value from precision,recall, and accuracy.

Abstract

The problem in a project is the calculation of the estimated costs doesn't have standards for calculating the cost, and suggested in the construction project refers to the execution of a structured on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). This research lays out the phase using WBS and scheduling of Sistem Antrian RSUD Dr. Soetrasno Rembang using Gantt Chart, as well as the calculation of the estimated costs of using Use Case Point and Function Point. The calculation of the Use Case Point needs Use Case Diagrams and Use Case Scenario so as to produce hours of effort is 2.850 hours and the estimated total cost is Rp 157.843.750, 00. While Function Point needs Data Flow Diagram so as to produce the effort 24 people during the nine months and the estimated total cost is Rp 200.650.000, 00. The result can help CV Pabrik Teknologi in solving the problem with comparison between Use Case Point, Function Point and Guesstimate.

Abstract

Warehouse management is managing activity of goods stored in warehouse. PT Mitra Pinasthika Mulia Surabaya is a company that applies warehouse management system to support its performance. However, PT MPM needs a new warehouse management system because, based on analyst business of PT MPM, the current warehouse management system can not support the operational activities. PT MPM cooperates with a system developer vendor to develop new warehouse management systems. In developing the system, PT MPM requires documentation system design and analysis the problems in the old system in order to arrange a system that can optimally support the company performance. Therefore, the research's goal is to analyze and design a system that can be understood by vendors and PT MPM. The design analysis was using the FAST (Framework for the Application of System Thinking) method in four phases. The first three phases produced requirement analysis with PIECES as the framework for classification of problems, while the logical design phase produce usecase, activity diagram, sequence diagram, wirefame, class diagram, CDM, and PDM. The process of design evaluation was analyzed by using consistency analysis method to prove that it has a 100% percentage value consistent and was included as the correctness category on the correctness test so the system design was concluded as consistent and correct
