Abstract

Smart home is a house that provides comfort, safety and convenience to its inhabitants. A few years ago this smart home technology has grown very rapidly. There are several methods in its development, one of which is using voice control method. One of the emerging Voice Control System technologies is the Alexa Voice Service developed by Amazon. In this research will be implementing Alexa Voice Service on Raspberry Pi devices that can control some sensors that will be implemented on a smart home. The commands to be used on Raspberry Pi devices will be delivered to the Alexa Skills Kit via the Alexa Web Service already installed on Raspberry Pi devices. Then the command will be sent to Amazon Web Service Lambda and then modeled with JSON format so that voice commands can be recognized by the system. Then the formatted sensor data will be published to MQTT. Furthermore, Alexa Web Service Lambda will subscribe data that later data will be voiced by Alexa. The accuracy of the sound system to read sensor data reaches 80 %.

Abstract

In general, navigation is done by using the hands and feet. However, as we know in Indonesia there are some people who have limitations or do not have hands and feet. So that users who have disabilities in their hands and feet will have difficulty for navigating or controlling the tools. Therefore, this study proposes that head movement as a control can replace the function of hands and feet by utilizing bounding box analysis. This study uses a Logitech C310 camera. The process used in this research is image processing. The output generated in this system is LED Control. Test accuracy results on good skin color detection to detect the face skin color is a distance of 50 cm, 75 cm, 100 cm, and 125 cm at morning and afternoon and also a distance of 50 cm, 75 cm at night. The accuracy of the results of testing the detection of head movement distance and the best time for doing it is at a distance of 50 cm in the morning, afternoon and night with an overall percentage of 90.62%. The average computation time of each movement for the right side is 59.87 ms, the left side is 57.64 ms, upright is 55.72ms, and the last look down is 44.62ms.The accuracy of system integration with hardware or LED is 100%.

Abstract

Trivia Nusantara is stationary supplier, advertising, and printing company. On the daily business, PT. Trivia Nusantara found out that many processes are done incorrectly, the indication are order processing takes a lot of time to be done and the amount of inventory record does not match with the amount of item in the warehouse. Based on those indication, this research aims to evaluate business process and analyze potential problem that may occur and to address the root cause of identified problem on the business process. The first step is analyzing business process using value chain to identify the main process and the secondary process, also to model the identified process using Business Process and Model Notation (BPMN). The next step is analyzing the potential problem and its effect to the company's business process using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Next step is identifying the root cause of the highest rank from each of the company's business processes using 5-Whys analysis method. From 13 problems identified, there are 7 activities that cannot be solved with Business Process Improvement (BPI) method because the root cause of the problems are human resource. Business process improvement solves 6 activities on menerima order process and menerima barang datang process using streamlining tools on Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. The results of business process improvement are time improvement of 83.77% or 9 minutes 33 seconds per process on penerimaan order process and 1.65% or 33 seconds per process on penerimaan barang process.

Abstract

Twitter is a social media network that has many users that can be used for communication media. And from Twitter you can also get various forms of information including negative and positive opinions and various other types of information. One of the information that can be obtained from Twitter is information about traffic conditions. Malang City community uses Twitter social media as one of the media to get information about traffic conditions. Through the @PuspitaFM account, the people of Malang City share information about the state of traffic around them. From the @PuspitaFM account, every day I will share tweets about traffic conditions in Malang City either by tweeting directly or tweets from followers that will be retweeted by the @PuspitaFM account. Of all the tweets that exist, sometimes there is confusion that occurs in the categorization of traffic jams or not jammed in the tweet. Therefore, the classification of tweets is jammed or not jammed as a solution to the problem. There are several processes carried out in this study, namely starting from prepocessing text which is divided into cleansing, case folding, tokenisation, filtering and stemming processes. The process will continue with the term weighting or weighting process, followed by normalization, cosine similiarity and classification processes with the Improved K-NN method. The results obtained from this study are recall value of 0.42857, precision value of 0.71428, f-measure value of 0.53571 and the best accuracy of 65.33%. The training data used is 600 tweet documents, and 150 test data tweet documents.

Abstract

The continuously increasing number of Indonesian population each year is directly proportional to the increase in national food needs. The increase in this demand is not matched by an increase in agricultural production in the country, so the government is constantly imports to meet their food needs. It takes effort to increase production, especially rice which is considered as a major food ingredient majority of the public. One of the solutions is by activating seeding rice varieties. However, the number of criteria considered making farmers had difficulty in determining their choice. Judging from the problems that arise, there are a number of methods that can be implemented to solve the problems of farmers in decision-making, namely the presence of a recommendation system that is capable of solving the problems of multiple criteria using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) to calculate the weight of the criteria and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to measure the alternatives rank. Functional testing system generates a value of 100%, which means that the system is functioning properly in accordance with the design requirements. While the correlation testing using Spearman method produce the rank-order correlation coeficient of each variety, which coeficient of the INPARI varieties is 0,999, INPAGO is 1,000, INPARA is 1,000, and HIPA is 0,981. So, it can be concluded that the Fuzzy AHP-SAW methods on this system can be used for recommending selection of seed varieties of rice, because it has a positive relationship that approach perfectly with the expert's rank data.

Abstract

Mostly Indonesian river has bad quality of water because of contamination, bad placement and there is a little habitat of the animal near it. Then those problems are the same with one of the rivers in Japan called Iwamoto. However those problems already solved because of the role of technology called “Clear Water Project” Application. The application can be used to give information to user about the river's condition from the geotagging process and help to grow awareness about the bad condition of the river. So that the user will do the preservation of the river. Indonesia has the same problem so it can use the same solution to solve the problem by developing application called “Geotagging Pemetaan Sungai”. The development of application will be customized with the condition in Indonesia. Information about the river's condition to be accurate, it will use Global Positioning System and Camera sensor. Gamification feature makes user always want to use the application, it needs to approach using the gamification concept. The result of usability testing is the application is passed the test of usability within the aspect of usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning and satisfaction that reach 85,906%, so can be concluded that the application called “Geotagging Pemetaan Sungai” is relatively easier to use by the user for giving information about the river's condition by using gamification's approach.

Abstract

FM App is a financial management application to solve financial problems for students of the Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University (FILKOM UB). FM App can be used anywhere and anytime because it is developed with an Android mobile platform which is mostly a type of smartphone used by students and Firebase to store data in real time. FM application has several features to solve financial problems of FILKOM UB students, such as daily expenses that exceed daily limits, expenditures that have been used cannot be tracked, unexpected expenses, and purchase planning. FM App uses the Naive Bayes algorithm to recommend students' financial status when unexpected expenses are made. In addition, this development requires a method that has a direct approach to users, requires continuous feedback, increases developer productivity, and accelerates system development. Therefore, the Scrum method has been used. The FM application has a 100% recommendation accuracy value, so it can be concluded that the application can recommend financial status with 100% correct after unexpected expenses are made. Besides that, FM App has a value of 79 on usability, so it can be categorized that the application has a good level of ease of use.

Abstract

The melodious bird is in great demand for a group of animal lovers, for a group of bird lovers the price of birds can reach an expensive price for one type of bird that has a sweet voice. In social media, there are so many singing bird sellers that promote various kinds of singing birds. Many of Indonesian people have been moved from offline birds market to social media to buy birds because it's easier to choose the type and price of birds. This research makes a system which able to find the criteria for singing bird recommendation that appropriate to the bird lovers. To implement a singing bird recommendation system there is a need for a method to find the best, accurate, and precise recommendation. This system uses Simple Addictive Weighting (SAW) and Technique Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. This system has been tested trough Spearman Correlation get significant results from 3 kinds of birds e.g Green Lovebird: 6,34, Green Cucak 4,92, Kacer: 5, 80 with value α=1,96. The final result from this system recommends the first rank bird based on the highest preference score.

Abstract

Integrated Billing System (IBS) is an information system which developed by PT. PELINDO to facilitate the exchange of data and information of a harbor. This system is based on website applications which integrated between agencies and industrial player. However, in the process of application to each branch appear a different success rate due to various factors that exist in each branch. The objective of this research is to describe the acceptance and success rate of the implementation IBS using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Human Organization Technology (HOT-Fit) model. Data collection was done by spreading the questionnaire where the number of respondents selected was 18 respondents based on saturated sample technique. The results of this study indicate that the acceptance level of the IBS system has reached good category with the value reaching 79.35%. While the success rate based on HOT-Fit model reached 79.56% and categorized good.

Abstract

Batu City has a variety kind of produce. One of the abundant product of plantations is apples. There are four types of apples, such as Anna Apple, Manalagi Apple, Wanglin Apple, and Rome Beauty Apple. From the four types of apples, when crop is done, and then sorting will be done based on its type, this process still uses human power. Certainly, this process is often inaccurate because the process of selection done can be different for each person. Based on these problems, a sorting system is made by utilizing a classification that can separate the four types of apples based on shape, color, and texture. In this system, it uses a Webcam as a censor to capture images of apples, and then it is processed on Rapberry Pi 3. The process of sorting uses three servos as an actuator to push the apples into its classification. The image that has been captured by the webcam will be processed on Raspberry Pi, and then the image will be done with image processing method to get the Hue, Aspectratio and GLCM Contrast values. If the value has been obtained, Raspberry Pi 3 and Arduino Uno communicate by using I2C serial communication, so that the servo will move based on the result of classification. From the study that has been done, it is obtained the result of the accuracy of aspectratio value as much as 80%. For testing, the accuracy between software and hardware is as much as 80%. While the average time of computation is as much as 159972 ms or 15 seconds.
