Abstract

To achieve the vision of becoming the largest Electronic Publisher in Indonesia, UB Press released UB Bookstore Application. There are 5 processes observed: sign up and sign in process, profile editing process, category and book search process, and book details. Problems in applications that appear on the initial observation include unresponsive navigation, lack of detailed book information, lack of interest in application color, and difficult to finding book and menu navigation. Therefore, there are three basic guidelines used for repairing the application interface. Further, usability testing is done for initial and new design. ISO 9241-11 is used as a standard to measure usability metrics, including Effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction metrics. The results of the Effectiveness metrics are divided into 3 aspects: Success with 40% improvement, Non Critical Error , and Critical Error which is decreased to 0%. After repairing the application interface, efficiency metric increased to 40% after the interface repair. In the aspect of satisfaction, the new interface design is in grade C and in the "Acceptable" category. The researcher also used a USE questionnaire that included four criterions. Each criterion has several statements given to the user to assess the usability level of the application. The result of usability score of this questionnaire before recommendation is 60,38% and after recommendation of new design is 79,70%.

Abstract

Beef consumption in Indonesia keeps increasing, but the increase has not been balanced with the addition of an adequate production. The rate of population increase beef cattle is relatively slow, 4.23% in 2007. The productivity of the livestock affected by the feed factors, management and breeding. The problem often encountered breeders is the availability of feed, which feed given to livestock contain nutrients that are low so will affect the availability of feed and digestibility of nutrients that impact low produkt ivitas cattle. Based on cases occurs, then the system is built on this research is "beef cattle feed composition optimization using genetic algorithm and simulated annealing". Methods used in beef cattle feed composition optimization on this system using a genetic algorithm and simulated annealing. The purpose of merging algorithm and genetic simulated annealing (SA) is to make use of the advantages of simulated annealing that are able to survive are facing local optimum and the search process which is controlled by the temperature to be used in cover lack of genetic algorithms. The results of the testing that has been done progressively smaller values popsize and iterations, the greater the value of tn and t0 then the more likely genetic algorithm and simulated annealing to get better results than the algorithm Genetics alone, otherwise the larger value of popsize and iterations, the smaller value of tn and t0 the small possibility of genetic algorithm and simulated annealing for getting better results., genetic algorithm, simulated annealing

Abstract

Home security systems are a necessity for every home, for instance home alarm that is still many used. But, along with the development of the present technology, home security system has various kinds and will keep moving for the development. The lack of security level has the impact of theft and burglary in house. Sometimes, the house owner thinks that he has locked his house, but in reality, the burglary case in house now is due to the easy thing for the burglar to open the installed lock door by using a wire or other imitated keys. Based on the problem, it is need to add the door safety that can be controlled by using Android smartphone with voice command. Voice command recognition system is one concept of controlling the electronic devices by using voice command. By applying the Google Voice Command technology, the system can turn on and turn of the home equipment by the support of microcontroller and Bluetooth. The research explains the design of home security system using voice command that is used by the android application with the Bluetooth connection to control the solenoid door lock, PIR, and RTC. From the test result, the system has value of success 93,33% in functional testing and processing testing the user input in controlling solenoid door lock. In sensor PIR testing, the value of success is up to 100%. The next test is RTC, the value of success is up to 100%.

Abstract

Driving simulation game is one type of simulation game that enables players to pilot or drive a vehicle, and focus on creating the real experience as possible. Oculus itself is used as a replacement wearable device monitor in playing games to get the sensation of playing real on the Virtual world. Human computer interaction is a relationship between humans and computers that have certain characteristics to achieve certain goals by running a system that masks an interface. Testing are using usability to measure user satisfication from sistem that created. The result of usability testing with satisfication criteria shows that 74% of all respondents are satisfied with the system built.

Abstract

SAMBAT Online is an application system used to accommodate complaints from the public against to the government of Malang. The incomplete features of SKPD selection related to the system made it difficult for Diskominfo of Malang City to report the complaint to the related SKPD. This is because the complaint grouping based on related SKPD is still done manually. Therefore, a system that can group complaints based on the relevant SKPD is required for time efficiency. NW-KNN is classification method which can be used to handle balanced issues that work by involving all training data in the process. The feature selection techniques that will be used are information gain and genetic algorithm to get a small number of features and high f-measure. Stages performed in the system get the best features of the first is pre-processing data, second is feature selection by using information gain, and the third is selection features by using genetic algorithm. The results of the tests performed resulted 0.22 in average of f-measure for unbalanced data and 0.39 for balanced data. These results have increased up to 0.04 for unbalanced data and 0.22 for balanced data from classification results without using feature selection process. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the classification using NW-KNN and information gain-genetic algorithm feature selection can be used to improve the classification results.

Abstract

Solar energy can be used as a potential alternative energy. One of them is the usage of solar panels that can convert sunlight into electrical energy. In the use of solar panels have several factors that can affect the ability to convert solar energy. One influencing factor is the temperature of the panel. Electrical energy generated by the panel will be more optimal if the panel is at 25°C or below. To optimize the conversion of solar energy by solar panels, a system that can control the temperature is needed to keep the panel at normal temperature. To fulfill that requirement the author designed a solar panel temperature control system consisting of two LM35 temperature sensors applied to the bottom of the panel and a DC motor as a fan or panel cooler. Arduino Uno used as a microcontroller with fuzzy logic program therein to determine the speed of fan rotation refers to the result of temperature captured by temperature sensor. Fuzzy logic is choosen because it has advantages over other methods, which are easy to understand, flexible, tolerant of improper data, capable of modelling complex nonlinear function, able to work with conventional control techniques, and provide excellent control. From the result of test that have been done found that this system can optimize temperature cooling time of the solar panel by 9 minutes 22 second compared without using temperature control system.

Abstract

Purebred chicken egg become one of the most favorite protein sources in the community because the price is quite affordable than other protein sources that are sold freely in the market. The main problem is the fluctuation of the market price of eggs in Malang, there are times when prices rise and there are times when prices fall. This would be a problem if the price rose from the price in the preceding months. In this research, a system capable to predict the egg market price by using Support Vector Regression (SVR) method to forecast and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method to optimize SVR parameters. The optimization process consists of 4 main stages, namely the normalization stage, SVR training stage, PSO stages, and testing stages. In the SVR performance testing yields the smallest MAPE value of 6.2186%. As for the SVR-PSO performance testing has the smallest MAPE value of 1.8840%.

Abstract

In e-commerce, payment outlets are needed as intermediaries, so that purchase can be processed. One of e-commerce in Indonesia is owned by PT. Kereta Api Persero Tbk. The interconnection of transactions on several payment outlets requires a database distribution. This will cause new problems, because the database has a security gap, namely the possibility of transaction data manipulation. Therefore a system that can guarantee transaction data cannot be manipulated is needed. The hashing method is used to calculate the digest value of incoming transactions from payment outlets. Then, the digest value will be sent in turn with transaction data to the online ticket server. Afterward, the digest value from the previous transaction and the latest transaction will be recalculated and resulting a new digest value. This proces is repeated until a hashing chain is created. In this way the payment records will be the same and each data record will be bound. Hence, changing one data record transaction, will damage the composition of the other transaction data records. The composition of a valid data record will be an indication of data integrity of data transaction. This system is implemented successfullywith execution time of every record calculation takes approximatelly 5 seconds.

Abstract

Animation videos are growing significantly producing tens even hundreds of titles per year. Certainly not everything were produced was interesting. Some of these videos may not be appealing to some people. To find out whether the animated videos is interesting or not, users can read the reviews given by other user about animation videos. Some sites that are intended to facilitate its users to be able give each other feed back about the animation video they have watched. From those reviews can be seen sentiment whether the review is a review that classified in to positive class sentiment or negative class sentiment. The Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) method that adopts the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) matrix reduction process is used to find the relevance between documents. With the LSI method helps us to be able to know the reviews are classified on positive sentiment or negative sentiment. The TF IDF method is used to process textual data into numerical data and cosine similiarity method is used to calculate the similiarity between data which is further classified into positive class sentiment and negative class sentiment. Testing done as much as 19 times by using different k-rank input. Based on the test result, this system produces an optimal accuracy on k-rank =10 that is equal to 86% so we can conclude that latent semantic indexing is good to use for searching relevance between documents.

Abstract

In this modern era, technological progress is growing rapidly for human needs, therefore it is very necessary to measure electrical energy. Therefore, a device is used to maintain environmental safety and to save the power. Low power implementation system for retrieving and sending data based on manusa configuration is a system that can be used for certain environments or only as a detection of human presence with low power usage, because the system will only activate human sensors. This system uses a pir sensor to detect human presence, and uses the VC0706 camera for the image capture process, then the image is stored on the sd card connected to the Ethernet module. By using the Arduino Uno microcontroller as a data processor produced both from the pir sensor and the camera. After this system retrieves image data, the data that is passed will be sent to people who want to know the condition of a particular place by accessing the IP address set in the Ethernet module to open the web browser page. The system is created by using the sleep mode low power method, where the compilation sensor does not detect anything, the data will automatically be finalized, using the sleep mode, the power saved is 0.010 amperes to 0.025 amperes.
