Abstract

Every day, humans consume staple food as a source of energy to carry out daily activities. Most people, especially in the city of Surakarta, consume rice as a staple food made from rice in the rice plant. Therefore, rice is the most important crop in the city of Surakarta. The city government of Surakarta hopes that rice production will always increase. However, with the weather, employment, city planning, and other factors can cause the development of rice production to decline. With this, the city government of Surakarta cannot know when rice production has decreased. Therefore, with this forecasting research, it is hoped that it can help the Surakarta city government in cultivating these rice plants. This rice production forecasting system is designed using two methods as a comparison, namely: Double Exponential Smoothing and Triple Exponential Smoothing. The data used is data from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Surakarta. By using the alpha, beta value parameter in the Double Exponential Smoothing and the alpha, beta, and gamma value Triple Exponential Smoothing methods, it is found that the MAPE (mean absolute error error) value of the Double Exponential Smoothing method is 39.31 with the best combine alpha and beta value of 0.4 & 0.2. Meanwhile, the MAPE value of the Triple Exponential Smoothing method is 31.65. with the best combine alpha, beta, gamma value of 0.4, 0.1, & 0.9.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a network technology that allow multiple devices which has an internet connection to connect with other devices. Devices which connect to each other are possibly to exchange of data, then it will save in device storage. There are problems with IoT device such as limited storage between IoT devices. These problem can be solved by using cloud storage with computing systems that have been integrated with IoT devices. Cloud storage are provides unlimited storage, unlimited computing and it can be accessed from anywhere and anytime. Cloud storage for IoT requires a SQL database namely MySQL Cluster. MySQL cluster are provides good data backup and high availability system when one server is down. A server down in MySQL Cluster wasn't a problem because the other server will replaces server down performance so the whole system will always be available. Performance test scenario used different request per second (rps). Performance test are using two kind of parameter they are throughput and latency. Throughput test showed the highest throughput for HTTP GET is 86.20 Kb/s at 200 rps while HTTP POST got highest throughput 115,10 Kb/s at 250 rps. If rps increased, throughput would increase but also it affected by internet connection. Unstable internet connection determined high or low of throughput had shown in HTTP GET 250 rps. Latency test showed that the fastest latency is 89.28 ms at 50 rps. Rps increased make time of latency become longer. The conclusion of latency is increasing of request will increase time of latency.

Abstract

Acquisition Electrocardiography (ECG) data using Internet of Things (IoT) technology frequently generate a lot of data that need to considered the quality of ECG data. ECG data has a chance to detect a disease like heart disease. Accordingly, ECG data need high rate of quality for not losing any data when send to any networks. Implementation BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) is using to support acquisition ECG data from heart sensor to smartphone. ECG data that required are convert to mini-batch in pre-processing method. Formatting mini-batch is done by grouping ECG data from 130 data per second up to 650 data per five seconds and convert to JSON array. Mini-batch data are transmitting to MQTT broker using MQTT QoS level 2 protocol. The testing is done by measuring latency and success ratio from each transmitted data using mini-batch and not using mini-batch. The results of measuring latency using mini batch are maximum latency is 1518 ms, minimum latency is 423 ms and average latency start from 531 ms up to 663 ms. In other measuring test without mini batch are maximum latency is 3389 ms, minimum latency is 1330 ms, and average latency is 1938 ms. In other measuring latency, success ratio also measured and acquired rate of success ratio using mini batch and without mini batch are 100% and 4,261%.

Abstract

The rapid spread of Covid-19 has forced the government to close all schools and recommend online learning at home. Various efforts were made to keep teaching and learning activities running even though there were no face-to-face meetings. online learning is proven to be less effective if applied in learning, and students also cannot interact directly and students also do not understand the material conveyed by the teacher using online applications. Of course, this problem also has an impact on physics subjects. Physics is a branch of science and is a science that develops through scientific steps, starting from determining problems, formulating hypotheses, testing hypotheses through experiments, making conclusions, and discovering theories and concepts. The factor that causes some students not to like physics is from the perspective of students who think that physics only contains formulas or theories to be memorized. If physics is viewed more broadly by students, physics has many concepts that must be understood in depth and physics itself can also be applied in everyday life. One of the chapters or material contained in physics subjects is the moment of force. During a pandemic like this, some students are lazy to learn to open books and try theory and practice it, even though to work on physics problems students have to try and learn the theory and formulas. The need for new learning models that can be done anywhere and anytime. students want new learning via smartphones or tablets so that students can learn anywhere and anytime. To help the learning process, therefore the researcher wants to focus on the process of learning the physics formula about the moment of force as the basis of user experience research. Another goal of this research is to make it easier for students to learn the moment of force chapter by applying visual images to examples of moment of force questions so that students can more easily imagine what questions they will work on.

Abstract

Data management at the Nurul Islam Islamic Boarding School includes violations students, permits, and also the progress of the takhossus science of students. This data management process is still uses manually by recording it on paper. This of course has the risk of losing data which of course can hinder the boarding school and parents in monitoring students. To overcome these problems, a web-based application was built to make it easier for Islamic boarding schools to manage data and also parents in monitoring the progress of their sons and daughters. This application is built on a web platform using the waterfall method. Obtained 5 actors, 50 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement in the elicitation of requirements to build this application. In the design results, there are 4 designs, namely sequence diagram design, class diagram design, component design and interface design. The results of this design are then used as a reference for implementing this application which results in the implementation of program code, database implementation and interface implementation. This application was tested using 3 tests, namely unit testing, integration testing and validation testing which resulted in 100% valid. In addition, the application is tested using compatibility testing which shows that the application can be used properly using the multiple browsers tested.

Abstract

Listening to songs is one of the human activities that is often carried out by humans. Song is an art that has a pitch or sound that has elements of poetry sequences and a combination with one or several combinations of musical instruments. The lyrics in the song usually contain several verses that have their own meaning for the songwriter. The development of songs has now progressed and made music and song lovers increasingly like songs or music. This happens because of the smartphone that allows song enthusiasts to listen to songs online and offline. But the number of songs available makes music lovers have limitations in choosing songs in the music player. This problem requires an innovation that makes it easy to search for songs based on lyrics that suit the user (music lover). This problem can be solved in the form of an information acquisition system. Song recommendation model can automatically select songs based on lyrics, making it easier for users to search for the desired song. The research for this song recommendation model used the N-gram method (unigram bigram and trigram) and cosine similarity. Song lyrics will go through the preprocessing stage then Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) so that the words in the song lyrics are selected first. The system will issue 10 song recommendations. The results of the evaluation of the best song recommendations use Unigram with a Precision@10 value of 0.656 and a Mean Average Precison (MAP@K) value of 0.82914032.

Abstract

MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Network) is a network where each of its nodes can adapt to Mobile conditions. The protocols contained in MANET are divided into three types: proactive, reactive and hybrid. The Destination Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV) is one of the proactive protocol types. In MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Network) There are frequent routing problems such as looping. To handle this, use the DSDV protocol where this protocol uses a sequence number to avoid the occurrence of looping on the MANET network. Traffic models used are traffic CBR and Exponential. The simulation program is done using Network Simulator 3.21 (NS-3.21) in the Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) Mobile network. The test parameters are used in the form of Packet delivery ratio (PDR),throughput, and average end-to-end delay. Based on the simulation that has been done shows that the DSDV protocol has a good performance by using exponential traffic judging by the PDR test value and its end-to-end delay. Judging from the value of traffic throughput CBR has a higher value compared to Exponential traffic. Traffic CBR with an average value of PDR 55.31%,throughput 319.9 and an average end-to-end delay of 1.377 seconds. Compared to the results exponential traffic is with the average value PDR 63.74%, throughput 312.8 and average end-to-end delay 1.289 s.
