Abstract

SMKN 1 Sambeng is a state vocational school located in Lamongan Regency with 8 majors. This study involved 5 students as respondents to test scenario tasks and interviews and 20 students to fill out a questionnaire. In the initial data collection, it was concluded that when respondents accessed e-learning, they still experienced some difficulties in terms of language and the appearance of e-learning which was less attractive and informative. These problems make researchers aim to make improvements to the redesign of the e-learning user interface at SMKN 1 Sambeng. The method used when designing is Goal Directed Design (GDD) which focuses on user goals. There are 6 stages in the GDD method, namely research, modeling, requirements, framework, refinement and support. However, this research is only limited to the refinement stage, because the final result of this research will be a redesign of the user interface. From the interview results showed a positive response from the results of the redesign of the e-learning system, the task scenario test resulted in an effective travel time when the respondent was working on the given task, and from the distribution of the PMLQ questionnaire it increased from an average result of 6.89 and a standard deviation of 0, 91 compared to the initial data collection. From these results it can be interpreted that the redesign of the e-learning at SMKN 1 Sambeng Lamongan meets the needs of the respondents and is considered good by the respondents who represent the users of the e-learning system.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a technology concept that uses a number of nodes that have processing capabilities to achieve or complete certain tasks. In general, wireless sensor network architecture requires an embedded system or embedded sensor that is able to connect to the network and communicate through the cloud server. One of the devices commonly used in the WSN architecture is the NRF24L01 module which is a communication module based on a single frequency radio wave band. The use of a single frequency for sending and receiving data allows the transmission signal to collide with the receiving signal which causes data packets to be lost or damaged. This can be avoided by using the method of scheduling sending and receiving data. One of the scheduling methods that can be used is the Time Division Duplex (TDD) method. The concept of TDD is to give a time slot at one processing time, where the process of sending and receiving data occurs in the same frequency as each processing time. This process has a time guard that is between the time of sending data and receiving data which functions to prevent collisions between sending and receiving signals. Previous research has succeeded in implementing the TDD method on the system of sending and receiving data using Bluetooth low energy and Wi-Fi in the plant monitoring system. The test of this research is done by testing scenario of sending data based on distance variation with two parameters, namely success ratio and average delay in sending data. The distance variation used in the study is 1 meter to 10 meters. The success ratio parameter produces the lowest success ratio value of 71% at a distance of 7 meters and the highest ratio of 91% at a distance of 5 meters. Then on the average delay parameter, the delay results are 0.871 seconds on sensor node 1, 0.638 seconds on sensor node 2, and 0.644 seconds on sensor node 3.

Abstract

The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Class I Aviation Health Office (AHO) is a government institution tasked with validating COVID-19 negative test result (CNTR) documents, which is one of the prerequisites for boarding a flight. At one point, there have been forgeries made to such documents, which passed the manual and offline validation process done by AHO. To solve this problem, the writer try to devise an Information System for Verification of Swab Test Result Authenticity, which performs the validation automatically and online, so that flying can be safer from the risk of COVID-19 spread. The system was built by using the prototype development method, which consists of several stages, including data collection, requirements analysis, prototype building, prototype evaluation, system design, system implementation and system testing. Based on iterations done, there were 13 requirements identified from 2 actors, COVID-19 testing labs, AHO and system admin. Implementation was done using the javascript programming framework ReactJS and NodeJS. System testing was divided into four stages which consist of unit testing with 3 samples, integration testing to produce valid results, validation testing to obtain valid results from test cases, and non-functional testing in the form of usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method that obtained a point of 73,46 from 15 respondents.

Abstract

Parking is a process for every vehicle that stops at a certain place. Parking areas owned by agencies, institutions, and institutions should prioritize service and security for the sake of parking eligibility. The parking system that has been implemented so far is still being implemented with limited number of human guards, so it has many loopholes for theft to occur without the vehicle owner knowing. RFID technology is a solution for today in solving the problem of theft and contactless technology. Several studies have been conducted, many of which are used only as a parking area monitoring tool. The lack of a system/tool that is usually used to respond when a vehicle is lost belonging to a parking area user is a problem for both the parking area owner and the vehicle owner. This security system is made using RFID technology, Load-Cell sensors, and GSM modules as a solution to related problems. From the manufacture of the system, of course, it is necessary to test the problem of delay or response speed when a theft occurs. The results of the tests and analyzes carried out get pretty good numbers, namely around 2 seconds to provide notification in the form of SMS to vehicle owners, and about 5 seconds for the system to close the portal when it is open. The response given is the result of data transactions from the sensor node to the Gatekeeper node using the ESP-NOW protocol communication. The Gatekeeper node is also used to communicate with the basis data, in terms of verifying whether the user is registered or not. Registered user data will of course be recorded when accessing the parking area when entering or exiting and displayed on a web page.

Abstract

Disability is a term used for someone who is unable to perform certain activities due to limited physiological, psychological, and anatomical conditions. According to the WHO report, about 15% of the world's population has a disability and in 2020 a Bourne researcher noted that the most people with disabilities are blind or blind people as many as 43.3 million people. The large number of people with disabilities, especially people with disabilities, makes the government and scientists try to find tools that aim to meet the needs of people with disabilities in their activities. Several studies have made tools to detect objects using sensors, but they have weaknesses, namely a narrow range, low accuracy and relatively long computation time. In this study, an architectural disturbance detection system was applied, namely going down stairs and climbing stairs with digital images in bright room conditions (101-1000 lux) using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix feature extraction method and the Artificial Neural Network classification method. Tests were conducted to determine the best distance and theta in feature extraction to produce the highest accuracy, the highest accuracy was obtained with a value of 0.9144 at distance = 3 and theta = 90Ëš. For real time test results, the average detection accuracy is 74.88% and the average computation time is 0.2945528 seconds. The integration of the input and output systems of the test results for the detection of floors, stairs going down and stairs going up results in 100% accuracy.

Abstract

Vehicle rental businesses have sprung up and making the competition fiercer, business owners are required to innovate, for example by using technology in completing their operational activities. CV. Dwi Cipta Rent Car is a business that operates in the field of vehicle rental services, specifically cars. On the CV. Dwi Cipta Rent Car customer who want to make a rental sometimes must first come to the rental shop to make an order, then come back to pick up the booked car according to the specified time when making the order, and sometimes the vehicle that the customer wants to order is already up. In addition, customer transactions are still done manually by recording customer ordering vehicle data in the rental journal. Based on the existing problems, in this study an application was made regarding rental car reservation. This application was developed utilizing API (Application Programming Interface) technology, namely REST API. The application developed by the waterfall software development method, on the web and mobile platforms. The testing is done with validation testing and compatibility testing. Validation testing results using the black-box testing method got valid results for all the functional needs that have been tested. While for the compatibility testing, the result is the system can run on various browsers for the web, and various different API levels for mobile application.

Abstract

Interactive learning is one of the most popular learning methods, especially during a pandemic like today. One of the interactive learning methods that is developing very quickly is e-learning-based interactive learning. For now, the e-learning learning method is a learning method that is developing rapidly, where this method minimizes face-to-face between educators and students. In e-learning learning, students can leave feedback in the form of comments, which will later become the basis for educators to make improvements to the teaching system they are working on. Thus, this study tries to classify comments on e-learning learning, in this case e-learning. - learning English. So it is hoped that the classification of comment text documents will result, whether they are included in negative or positive opinions. The classification process is carried out using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. In this sentiment analysis process, there are 4 main processes, namely Text Processing, Term Weighting (TF IDF), Cosine Similarity calculation¸and finally classification using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. From the test results, it is known that the best accuracy results of 87.71% are obtained when the value of k = 1, and 71.42% using the value of k = 2.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus Disease 2019) has changed most people's habits, people are encouraged to pay attention to health and obey health protocols, one way is by doing sports, but according to (Furkan, 2021) not all types of exercise can increase immunity, The right exercise will increase immunity, but on the other hand, exercise that does not pay attention to FITT (Frequency, Intensity, Type and Time) will actually weaken immunity. This prompted the author to develop physical exercise applications to maintain physical fitness during the pandemic. Application development is carried out using the SDLC waterfall with needs that have been defined at the beginning through interviews and literature studies. The stages of system development include requirements analysis which consists of an overview of the system, numbering rules, identification of actors, functional requirements and non-functional requirements. The design and implementation consists of designing activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, database design and implementation, program code, and interfaces. The results of the implementation were then tested using the black box method. The results of this black box test obtained a final value of 100% valid from all functionality. Other tests carried out are compatibility where test results are generated that the application can run on the Android platform version 5.1 and above and Usability testing produces a value of 70.5 with the Acceptable category.

Abstract

Log monitoring system based on log management is a proposed method to monitor the state of a web server. This method is proposed because the logs generated by the server, can no longer be used to monitor the system state efficiently. This is due to the development of system scale that allows the placement of servers separately in several locations, each of which generates logs, so that its characteristics are similar to Big Data in log generation speed (speed), log storage size (volume), and variation in log structure (variation). Log management makes it easy for servers to be regularly managed and monitored. The log monitoring system using the Elastic Stack implemented on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) trial environment worked well. By using the Elastic Stack, the log monitoring system successfully performs log management stages such as log collection, log transformation, log storage, and log analysis on logs generated by two separate web servers via a load testing of HTTP request, so that information from the logs can be processed and visualized through the monitoring dashboard on the log monitoring system.
