Abstract

This research intent to know influence: (1) Independence with math learned achievement; (2) Study habits with math learned achievement, and (3) are jointly between independence and study habits with math taught achievement student class X Senior High School 1 Rongkop. This observational type is ex post facto . This study population in observational is exhaustive student class X Senior High School 1 Rongkop year 2013 / 2014. Elected sample 3 classes which is 65 students. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling.  Technique of data collecting used the technique questionnaire to get independence data and study habits and UAS point documentation to get achievement data studies math. The data analysis technique is the descriptive statistical analysis and correlation analysis. The result showed that: (1) There is a positive influence of independence to math learned achievements student class X Senior High School 1 Rongkop year 2013/2014 by correlations 0,443; (2) There is a positif influence of study habits to math learned achievements student class X Senior High School 1 Rongkop year 2013/2014 by correlations 0,447; (3) There is a positif influence of independence and study habits to math learned achievements student class X Senoir High School 1 rongkop year 2013/2014 by correlations 0,874.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between numerical ability and students perception on mathematics with the results of mathematics learning. This research method applied descriptive of correlation. The population in this research is grade VIII SMPN 2 Jogonalan totaling 171 students, with a sample of 86 students taken by cluster random sampling. Analytical techniques multiple regression analysis with requirment of normality and linierity. Based on the results of the research, R = 0,491, meaning that there was a positive correlation between numerical ability and students perception on mathematics with the results of mathematics learning. 0,533, meaning that there was a positive correlation between numerical ability with the results of mathematics learning. 0,307, meaning that there was a positive correlation between students perception on mathematics with the results of mathematics learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam tulisan ini adalah strategi pembelajaran operasi bilangan dengan benda konkrit, penulis bertujuan ingin menunjukan bagaimana proses pembalajaran operasi bilangan dengan benda konkrit agar mehasilkan pemahaman konsep terhadap operasi bilangan setiap siswa dikuasai dengan baik. Dari hasil evaluasi setelah siswa dilakukan pembelajaran operasi bilangan dapat diketahuai bahwa 84,21 % untuk operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan, 65,79 %untuk operasi perkalian dan 39,47 % dari operasi pembagian dari jumlah siswa sebanyak 38 siswa dapat mengusai materi dengan baik

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to improve the activity and achiefement of student to learn mathematic using cooperative learning model type Quiz Team in class X 6 SMA N I Imogiri. The type of this research is classroom action research with collaboratively. The subject of this observation is the students in class X 6 SMA N I Imogiri it consist of 32 students. The object of this research is activity and achievement of student to learn of mathematic by using cooperative learning model type Quiz Team. The result of this research shows that the activity and achievement of student increased after applying cooperative learning model type Quiz Team. The activity of learning process increased from cycle 1 56.4% to cycle II 71.61%. Beside that the subjection of student’s achievement has a increase in pre cycle shows 64.7I with Minimum Completeness’ Criteria ‘KKM is 43.75%. In average, the final examination from cycle I 74.58 with KKM 52.50%. The final examination in cycle II is 84.56 with KKM 87.50.  See this result of final examination cycle I and cycle II using cooperative learning model type Quiz Team, the teacher are hoped to apply cooperative learning model type Quiz Team in learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the motivation and learning in mathematic of student of class VIII C MTs Darul Qur’an Wonosari with cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Type Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research was student of class VIII C MTs Darul Qur’an Wonosari totaling 25 student. The object of this research was motivation and mathematics learning yield. Techniques of data collection is using observation, tests, questionnair and documentation. The results after application of TSTS models, motivation and mathematics learning yield has increased. This is indicated by the average percentage of angket result of student learning motivation by 67,17% pre-cycle, the first cycle of 80,98%, and 89.79% in the second cycle. Results of students mathematics learning yield test, the average value of mathematics learning yield at 52,40 pre cycle, the first cycle increased to 71,14 and the second cycle increased to 81,50.

Abstract

This  research  has  goal  to  increase  mathematics  interest  and  achievement  of integersubject  ofclassVIIDstudentswithProblemBasedLearningmethodin SMPN1  Alian  Kebumen,  period  year2013/2014.  Theresearch result, after applyingProblemBasedlearningmethod,showstheincreasingofmathematics interestandachievementbyfulfillingminimumcompletenesscriteria(KKM).It isshownbyincreasing69,95%pre-cyclestudentslearninginterestquestionnaire. Thefirstcyclestudyinterestincreasedto79,71%.Thesecondone increased 84,95%.Thestudentachievementofmathematicshasalsoincreased,itcanbe seen by average point of pre-cycle that is 55,03.  The  learning  achievement increased  68,25  in  first  cycle  and  78,55  in  second  cycle.  It is suggested to teachersuseProblemBasedLearningmethodinmathematicsteachingtoother subjects as analternativewaytoincreaseinterestandachievementstudent.

Abstract

An effort to increase the students’ partisipation and achievement in learning mathematics through learning model Snowball Throwing of students grade VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Nanggulan in year 2013/ 2014. The purpose from this research is to description learning model Snowball Throwing can to increase students’ participation and achievement in learning mathematics students grade VIII D SMP N 1 Nanggulan in year 2013/2014. The type of this research is a classroom action research. The subject of the research are the students grade VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Nanggulan. It consists of 32 students. The object of this research is students’ partisipation and achievement in learning mathematics through learning model Snowball Throwing. The result of the study shows that after applying this learning model, students’ partisipation and achievement has an increase. Student’ participation has an increase from pre-cycle 40,01% become 54,68% in cycle I and become 76,95% in cycle II. Beside that, the subjection mean of students achievement has an increase. In pre-cycle shows 56,33 with Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) is 15,62% consist of  5 students, in cycle I has an increase become 74,41 with KKM is 62,50% consist of 20 students, whereas in cycle II shows the increse become 85,11 with KKM is 81,25% consist of 26 students.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to discribe learning process by using constructivism learning model in order to improve the activity and achivement of Mathematics Learning in VIII G class of SMP Negreri 6 Kebumen Academic Year 2013/2014.This kind of research is classroom action which is done collaboratively between  the researcher and Math’s teacher. The result of research shows that after applying the constructivism learning model, students activity and learning achievement of mathematics is increase. Learning activity is increase from pre cycle 24, 60%, in cycle I becomes 45,31%, and in cycle II becomes 66, 59%. Learning achievement is also increase seen from average value in pre cycle amount to 61,65, in the last of test of cycle I becomes 68,91,  and becomes 76,72 in the last of cycle II test. Students percentage which obtain value (73) is increase from 43,75%  in pre cycle, in the last of cycle I test becomes 53,12%  and becomes 62,5%  in the last of cycle II. So, it’s suggested to teacher to be able to choose and apply the suitable learning model in order to create the atmosphere of exciting, condusive, effective in the classroom so they are able to increase activity and mathematics learning achievement and one of them is by using constructivism learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determinate errors found in “ Matematika SMP Kelas VII Kurikulum 2013” book issued by The Ministry Of Education And Cultures of The Republic Of Indonesia 2013. The aim is used to draw a conclusion about the quality of the book. The research is qqualitative researches that use constan comparative method as the analysis. All of the datum are being identified and are being classified based on the types of errors found in the book. The research uses the degree of trust which is done peers discussion. There are four errors found in the book, they are: (1) miss-concept error, (2) computation error, (3) graphic error and, (4) redaction error. According to the point of view, the book is not maximum in quality yet and still need a revising in order to reach the original goal of the book manufacturing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the interests and learning outcomes in mathematic of student of class VIII B MTs N Pundong using learning type Make a Match. The subjects of this research was student of class VIII B MTs N Pundong totaling 19 student. The object of this research was interests and mathematic learning outcome. The results showed that after application of cooperative learning model to Make a Match, interests and learning Mathematics has increased. This is indicated by an increase in the average yield percentage interest of each student's learning cycle, namely the pre-cycle percentage interest of 57.95%, in the first cycle of 69.01% and 85.50% for the second cycle. In addition the average mathematics student learning outcomes is increased in precycle for 60.84 increased to 70.21 in the first cycle and second cycle becomes 78.32. As for mastery learning increased from pre-cycle by 52.63% to 63.16% in the first cycle and became 78.95% in the second cycle. Given the cooperative learning model to Make a Match can increase interest and Mathematics student learning outcomes, teachers are expected to implement the learning model in the learning process.
