Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between peer social support and resilience. Quantitative method, especially correlational Study was employed in this study. The populations in this study were the students of SMA 2 Daar El Qolam Academic Year 2018/2019, and the samples were the students of class X Extention which amounted to 45 people. The classes were chosen by purposive sampling. In collecting the data, the researcher uses a measuring scale of peer social support 43 items with a reliability value of 0.914 and a measuring scale of resilience of 42 items with a reliability value of 0.869. In analyzing the data, the researcher used product moment analysis techniques. The results showed empirical data regarding the relationship of peer social support with resilience: (1) in general students of class X Extention SMA 2 Daar El Qolam had peer social support in a high category. (2) in general students of class X Extention SMA 2 Daar El Qolam have resilience in the medium category. And (3) the relationship of peer social support based on the results of statistical analysis obtained rxy value of 0.344 with a significance level of 0.021 (p <0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a significant positive relationship between peer social support and the resilience of students in class X Extention in Daar El Qolam 2 High School. Peer social support made an effective contribution of 11.8% to resilience.Keywords: Peer social support, Resilience

Abstract

AbstractCharacter building that is illustrated by the Qur'an with various examples should be able to answer various problems of character education that affect people at this time, such as moral education and worship. Lukman was made Allah in the Qur'an as a wise person and a pious person and succeeded in educating his son to be a complete Muslim person, therefore the purpose of this article is to; First: knowing important aspects that are the center of attention of Lukman Hakim in the process of his children's education, Second: Lukman Hakim's strategy in carrying out education, Third: The concept of children's character education based on the Qur'an. This research uses the library research method (Library Research), or library research by searching, gathering, reading, and analyzing books, which have relevance to the research problem. Then processed according to the ability of the author. The type of research in writing this research report is qualitative research. Abstract

This Research was motivated by the problem low self-confidence at grade eight of Three Junior High School Kramatwatu 2019-2020 academic year. The aim of this research is to determine the profile of self-confidence and determine the effectiveness of role playing technique to improveself confidence at the eight grade students. Role playing technique used included group guidance. The type of research use pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. Population of this research is student grade eight with agestwelve to fourteen. Sample of this research is six student include of low self-confidence category with purposive sampling. This research use questionnaire has tested for content validity an there were 53 valid items out of the original 92 items. The results showed that the students' self-confidence profile obtained a 9% low category group percentage, 63% medium category, and 28% high category. The use of the effectiveness of role playing technique to improve student self-confidence was evidenced in the results of the t test, which was a significance value was lower than 5% (p = 0.01 < 0.05). Average in pre-test is 18.33 while in the post-test is 29.50 which mean there is an improvement in self-confidence at the grade eight of Three Junior High School Kramatwatu 2019-2020 academic year after given role playing technique.Keywords: Self-Confidence, Group Counseling, Role Playing Technique

Abstract

Difficulties experienced by students will be perceived as a burden that exceeds the limits of students’ ability and may impact negatively on the students way of thinking as well as their behavior as indicated by their inability to assess himself in overcoming obstacles or pressures. Thus, it is necessary for the student to have an ability to control the events or situations that are happening or will happen which are known as locus of control. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in improving the locus of control of students who experience academic stress. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design pattern. The results of a preliminary study of 162 students found that 3.7% of students experienced high academic stress, 35.2% moderate, and 61.1% low. The research subjects were students who were in the categorized as high academic stress as many as 6 people who were then given a locus of control questionnaire to measure the effectiveness before and after the administration of cognitive-behavioral therapy treatments. The results of data analysis obtained 0.028 <0.05 indicated that there was a difference between the level of locus of control before and after treatment is given so that it can be interpreted that cognitive-behavioral therapy gave significant contribution in increasing the locus of control of students who experience academic stress.Keywords: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Locus of Control, Academic Stress.

Abstract

Research on Profile of Achievement of Tasks of Second Semester Student Development Chemistry Study Program Teacher Training and Education Faculty of the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa formulated a profile of student groups in eleven aspects of development. The study aims to determine the level of group development in eleven aspects of student development in the form of frequency distribution of task achievement, highest grain picture, and lowest grain picture. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method to obtain an empirical picture. The study population was second semester students in the Chemistry  Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The research subjects used saturated sampling techniques, namely all second semester students of the Chemistry Study Program. The tool for collecting data on the achievement profile of development tasks is the Development Task Inventory using the Development Task Analysis software or ATP version 3.5. Research results in achieving student development tasks at a thorough level. By group, the highest eight items of students are at the individualistic and thorough level. While the lowest eight items of students are at the level of self-awareness and thoroughness. Keywords: Students, development task, chemisty

Abstract

Female lecturers face various demands of the family and around their environment, the demands of work and the environment. Role one with other roles often contradicts later interferes with work, causing anxiety and stress. The research objective was to determine: (1) the level of career maturity of female lecturers, (2) husband's support, and (3) the contribution of husband's support to the career maturity of female lecturers. The technique in this study used correlation analysis and descriptive analysis. The research population of all female lecturers is 200 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the following characteristics: (1) female lecturers who have husbands, (2) female lecturers who have and care for biological children, (3) female lecturers over 3 years. The results of this study were found: (1) overall data on the support of husbands of female lecturers at FKIP Untirta by 58.6% were in the moderate category, (2) overall data on career maturity of female lecturers at FKIP Untirta was 66.9% in the moderate, and (3) Husband's support contributes to career maturity by 34.1%, the rest is influenced by other factors of 65.9%Husband's Support, Career Maturity

Abstract

This study aims to design and test the feasibility the modul of self-acceptance  and women happiness in work-family balance, that used to minimize family conflict due to tension and stress in dealing with multiple roles (as laborers/workers and as wives/housewives). The approach used is research and development (Research and Development) by taking female respondents who have double duties as workers and housewives from the Kasemen Kelurahan, Serang City, Banten Province. Data collection uses a scale of feasibility measurement and professional judgment then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The self-acceptance and happiness modules of women in work-family balance were developed in the form of a training module book. The results of this study are the book Module of self-acceptance and women's happiness in work-family balance. Based on the results of the feasibility test of the material and the learning modules tested to experts, the feasibility value of the module material was 88.15%, and the feasibility of the module delivery was 86.11%. While the feasibility value of practicing modules delivered by women module users was 82.66%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the learning modules developed according to material experts, instructional media experts, and potential female users are very feasible, and can be used to support the implementation of women self-acceptance and happiness training in the work-family balance of civil society empowerment. Keyword : learning modules, self-acceptance, happiness, work-family balance
