Abstract

Early Childhood Education in coastal areas is different from PAUD on land, this diversity requires a learning model that can bond togetherness indifference, a learning model that instills values and norms in a learning process. This article offers a learning model that fits the characteristics of early childhood in the Pesisir city of Kendari. This model can bring innovative ideas that demand the creativity of teachers and high school authorities involved in making their own decisions, planning, and implementation. It takes a leap to be able to catch up due to the neglect of local wisdom that has experienced many obstacles in the learning process at school.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's social-emotional abilities through project-based drawing activities. The study was conducted on children of PAUD Pelita Kasih, Dalung group B semester 2 academic year 2017/2018. This type of research is action research with a four-stage procedure, namely: 1) Planning phase, 2) Action taking phase, 3) Development phase, 4) Reflection phase. The research was carried out in two cycles. Data collection methods used in this study are through observation. The process of collecting data through this observation technique uses a rubric guide to record data about the social-emotional abilities shown by early childhood in project-based drawing activities. The results of the study showed an increase in children's social-emotional abilities in project-based drawing activities. Completeness of children's social-emotional abilities in the initial observation of 17 children (68%), the cycle I as many as 19 children (76%), and cycle II 23 children (92%). So it can be said that the project method as an alternative method of learning that is creative, innovative and effective in drawing activities that can improve the social-emotional abilities of early childhood

Abstract

One development that must be considered in the growth of early childhood is motor development, namely fine and rough motor. The problem raised in this study is the lack of fine motor skills in children due to creativity in making learning media still very weak and conventional learning. The purpose of this study was to prove the increase in fine motor skills of early childhood through a colored plastic pulp collage medium. The selection of used materials for colored plastic powder is one way to utilize used material to be recycled and used as a new medium that is attractive to children in making collages to improve fine motor. This research was conducted using 2 cycles of classroom action research. The results showed an increase in fine motor skills of early childhood from undeveloped criteria, began to develop, developed according to expectations to develop very well at the stage of giving glue to the media, arranging colored plastic powder, and tidying the patterns that had been prepared

Abstract

Based on these circumstances, this study aims to develop an appropriate game to improve readiness of the initial ability of reading, and writing on early childhood called "Smart Adventure". This game can help children to learn the ability of the initial reading and writing with a fun method (play) and in accordance with the characteristics and stages of early childhood development. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach (mix method) with "Borg and Gall" research and development model. The procedures used include: research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision, and dissemination and implementation.The results of this study indicate the effectiveness and usefulness of the Smart Adventure game product on the ability to reading and writing early childhood

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process and learning outcomes through the activities of storytelling with puppets that can improve the prosocial behavior of the children in Kindergarten group A, Global Persada Mandiri School, Bekasi, in the academic year 2017/2018. Research subjects of this action are 14 children aged 4-5 years. This research method is action research which refers to the research of Kemmis MC Taggart which consist of planning, action and observation stage, then reflection. This study consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 8 meetings. Data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data analysis with statistical descriptions is comparing the results obtained from the pre-action, the first cycle to the second cycle. Qualitative data analysis is done by analyzing data of field record, interview record and documentation record by reducing data, display data and make a conclusion. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the behavior of child prosocial through the storytelling activity with puppets, can be proved by the average acquisition of TCP (Level of Development Achievement) in one class at pre-action of 17,7, and increased in the second cycle of  37.5

Abstract

Parenting is a pattern of interaction between parents and children or can be said to be the attitude or behavior of parents when interacting with children, including how to apply the rules, teach values or norms, give attention and love and show good attitudes and behaviors so that they become role models for their children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of parenting parents with children interpersonal Intelligence in Wonokerto, Lumajang. The research design used Correlational analytical. The Samples are 44 kindergarten students with using total sampling. The data analysis with Spearman Rank. The results of the relationship analysis of parenting parents with kindergarten interpersonal intelligence obtained that the practice of the majority parenting is authoritarian parenting as much as 20 (45.5%). Interpersonal intelligence of kindergarten children is a good majority of 40 (90.9%). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between parenting pattern with children interpersonal Intelligence in Wonokerto, Lumajang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of the discipline for early childhood through Token Economy technique.  This study has been carried out on the Group A students of Kindergarten of Kumara Asri Denpasar academic year 2017/2018. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using observational method.  The subject of this class action research is 26 students of group A Kindergarten of Kumara Asri; consist of 14 girls and 12 boys.  The object of this study is the application of Token Economy technique to improve the discipline of early child. The results obtained in First Cycle showed that 17 students (65.38%) had achieved learning completeness, whereas in Second Cycle, 24 students (92, 31%) have reached learning mastery. There is a 26.93% increase in child discipline with the application of Token Economy technique from first to second cycle. This means that the application of Token Economy technique can improve the discipline of early childhood
