Abstract

Student Activity Units (SAUs) play a crucial role in developing students' potential, enhancing soft skills, and fostering a healthy competitive environment on campus. However, the performance monitoring system for SAUs at some universities is still conducted manually, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and prone to data inaccuracies. This study aims to design and implement a web-based UKM performance monitoring information system using the TOPSIS method as a decision-support tool for identifying the best UKMs. The research was conducted through the following stages: needs analysis, system design using the waterfall method, development, and system testing. The system is equipped with features for inputting activity data, evaluating criteria such as member activity, number of achievements, and annual activities, as well as TOPSIS calculations to obtain an objective ranking of student organizations. The implementation results show that the system functions well, facilitating administrators and campus authorities in monitoring and evaluating the performance of each student organization in real-time. Black-box testing indicates that all features function as expected. The final ranking based on TOPSIS calculations placed the Mahadasa Batalyon VII Satria Pasee Student Regiment (MENWA) as the best student organization with the highest preference score of 0.6841, followed by the Pramuka Racana Meurah Giri Ratu Nur Ilah with a score of 0.6254, and the Bidikmisi/KIP Kuliah Student Forum (Formadiksi) with a score of 0.6248. This system is expected to enhance transparency, motivation, and the quality of student activity management at one of the universities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a system for selecting outstanding students at MIN 1 Labuhanbatu Utara using the Naive Bayes method as a classification technique. The data used consists of 252 student records as training data and 52 records as test data. The testing results show that the system can perform classification with 100% accuracy, where all test data were correctly predicted. This proves that the Naive Bayes method is highly effective and reliable in the process of selecting outstanding students within the school environment. Furthermore, the implementation of this system facilitates and accelerates the assessment and decision-making process without compromising the accuracy and precision of the results. Thus, this system is expected to assist the school in managing and determining outstanding students more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

The Blood Donor Unit (UDD) of PMI Lhokseumawe City has a vital role in maintaining the availability and distribution of blood bags to various hospitals. However, the distribution process is faced with the challenge of a mismatch between the number of requests and fluctuating supplies, which risks disrupting medical services and causing waste due to expired blood. This study aims to design and implement a web-based decision support system (SPK) that assists PMI UDD in prioritizing the distribution of blood bags objectively and efficiently. The method used is Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT), with evaluation of six main criteria: number of uses, number of supplies, number of requests, road density, travel time, and distance. The system was built using PHP and MySQL, and tested using the black-box testing method. The test results show that all system features work validly according to the expected functionality, thus supporting the reliability of the application in the decision-making process. The MAUT calculation results show that RSU Metro Medical Center obtained the highest utility value of 0.5809 (58.09%), placing it as the top priority for distribution. In comparison, RSU Cut Meutia obtained 0.4234 (42.34%), while RSIA Bunda obtained 0.3997 (39.97%), which shows a significant difference in distribution priorities. The implementation of this system is expected to improve distribution effectiveness, optimize inventory allocation, and support more accurate and measurable decision-making at UDD PMI Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan teknik data mining untuk menganalisis pola penjualan sepatu di Toko Tunelbrand, Aceh Utara. Tujuan utama adalah mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antarproduk melalui algoritma Apriori serta memprediksi volume penjualan berdasarkan variabel harga dan promosi menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Proses analisis mencakup evaluasi data transaksi penjualan guna menghasilkan frequent itemsets dan aturan asosiasi berdasarkan nilai ambang support dan confidence tertentu, serta pengembangan model regresi linier untuk estimasi penjualan. Hasil dari algoritma Apriori mengungkap adanya pola pembelian yang signifikan, seperti kombinasi produk Adidas-Nike dengan support sebesar 50% confidence 67%, NikeAdidas dengan support sebesar 50% dan confidence 100%, serta Puma-Adidas dengan support 33% dan confidence 100%. Model regresi linier menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,3813, RMSE sebesar 3,41 dan Mean Squared Error (MSE) dalam rentang 2,7 yang menandakan bahwa performa prediksinya masih terbatas. Sistem berbasis web yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini mampu menyajikan visualisasi hasil analisis secara informatif, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam strategi penempatan produk, promosi bundling, serta peramalan permintaan secara lebih efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency level of the student admission process at SMAN 2 Seruway, Aceh Tamiang Regency, using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. DEA was chosen because it is able to evaluate the relative efficiency of decision-making units that have many inputs and outputs without assuming the form of a production function. This method is considered more flexible than other methods such as MOORA, which are deterministic. The inputs used include parents' occupations, school of origin, and student majors, while the outputs are the Final School Exam (UAS) scores for science and social studies subjects. Data were analyzed for three Decision-Making Units (DMUs): 2022, 2023, and 2024. The results showed that 2022 was inefficient (efficiency 0.93), while 2023 and 2024 experienced high efficiency (1.14 and 1.06). Values above 1 indicate super-efficiency, indicating superior resource utilization. The final science exam score consistently dominated efficiency, while social studies scores showed no contribution. Similarly, from an input perspective, student majors were the most influential factor, while parental occupation and school of origin tended to be less influential. This study is limited by its three-year data period and its failure to consider non-academic variables. Practical implications of this research include the need to strengthen science subjects and map appropriate majors within student admissions strategies. Furthermore, DEA results can be used as a policy basis for allocating school resources more efficiently

Abstract

Lhokseumawe is one of the economic centers in Aceh that has a role in supporting distribution and services. With the development of e-commerce and the trading industry, the need for expedition services is increasing. Improved efficiency in the expedition service section is one way that can be done by the company to always meet customer satisfaction. The study implemented the CCR model Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method that aims to measure the efficiency of expedition services. There are four samples of companies: Shopee Express, J&T, JNT, and TIKI. The input variables used include the number of employees, number of vehicles, and operational costs, while the output variables include the number of delivered packages, the number of customers, and the number of timely delivery. The results showed that Shopee Express, J&T and JNE have an efficiency value of 1, which indicates that all three expeditions have utilized the input optimally to produce output. Meanwhile, TIKI has an efficiency value of 0.057, which indicates that it is still far from efficient conditions that require further evaluation to optimize input and output like all three other expeditions. This research not only contributes academically but also recommendations for expedition companies, so it can be the basis for strategic decision making to improve the competitiveness and quality of logistics services at Lhokseumawe.

Abstract

Central Aceh Regency possesses rich tourism potential, yet information about tourist destinations is often unstructured, making it difficult for travelers to choose locations that suit their preferences. This study aims to develop a tourism recommendation system based on Content-Based Filtering using TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity approaches. The system allows users to select up to five tourism-related attributes such as “culinary,” “picnic,” or “hiking” to receive destination recommendations with the highest similarity scores. The development process includes data collection from the Central Aceh Tourism Office, data preprocessing, term weighting using TF-IDF, and similarity calculation using cosine similarity. The implemented system successfully recommends three tourist destinations that best match user preferences. System testing using the black box method showed valid and expected results. The system achieved an accuracy rate of 85% during user testing, with a precision of 83% and recall of 81%, outperforming similar studies [14]. This study demonstrates that the Content-Based Filtering method is effective in delivering personalized and relevant tourism recommendations while supporting local tourism promotion efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based interactive educational game designed specifically to help students understand the subject of Sirah Nabawiyah in a more engaging and adaptive way. In its development, the system adopts a fuzzy logic approach as an adaptive method that allows the adjustment of question difficulty levels based on each user’s ability. The system utilizes parameters such as score, response speed, and answer accuracy, which are processed to classify users into three ability categories: Advanced, Intermediate, or Beginner. The development process follows the waterfall methodology through the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Black box testing results indicate that all features function properly and the system is capable of delivering accurate adaptive responses. Furthermore, trials conducted with 30 elementary school students showed a 28% improvement in material comprehension, based on a comparison between pre-test and post-test results before and after using the educational game. Thus, the implementation of fuzzy logic in this educational game provides a tangible contribution to technological innovation in Islamic education, particularly in delivering religious content in a digital and enjoyable manner for elementary students.

Abstract

Stunting is a public health problem that has a serious impact on children's growth and development, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life. This study aims to implement the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to classify stunting status in toddlers and to develop a web-based system to support early detection at the Muara Satu Public Health Center. The dataset consists of 558 entries, including age at measurement, birth weight, birth height, current weight, current height, and upper arm circumference. Data normalization was performed using the Min-Max method to standardize feature scales. The classification process applied the Euclidean distance metric and determined the class based on the majority of the three nearest neighbors (k=3). The choice of k was based on preliminary testing, but further optimization is suggested for future research. The developed system allows healthcare workers to input toddler data and automatically obtain classification results as either “Normal” or “Indicated Stunting.” Experimental results show an accuracy of 89.42%, although potential false positives and false negatives remain to be further analyzed. This study is limited to data from a single health center, thus model generalization requires validation with multi-center datasets and larger sample sizes. The integration of machine learning into health information systems has proven to improve the efficiency and accuracy of community nutrition services, and future work is recommended to explore other algorithms such as ensemble learning to further enhance performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan chatbot berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) dengan algoritma Natural Language Processing (NLP) dan Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) untuk memberikan informasi seputar Tuberkulosis Sensitif secara akurat dan interaktif. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tingginya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap akses informasi kesehatan yang cepat dan terpercaya, mengingat Tuberkulosis Sensitif masih menjadi masalah kesehatan serius di Indonesia. Sistem dikembangkan berbasis web dengan antarmuka sederhana, dan basis pengetahuan diperoleh dari wawancara dengan dokter spesialis paru untuk menjamin validitas informasi. Tahapan pengembangan sistem meliputi preprocessing (tokenisasi, padding, embedding) dan pelatihan model dengan arsitektur BiLSTM untuk klasifikasi intent. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan performa tinggi dengan akurasi 99,51%, precision 99,39%, recall 100%, dan F1-score 99,69%. Uji terhadap 10 pertanyaan acak menghasilkan nilai Mean Average Precision (MAP) 100%, menunjukkan konsistensi dan relevansi jawaban chatbot. Meski demikian, sistem memiliki keterbatasan seperti ukuran dataset terbatas dan cakupan hanya dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Beberapa input di luar skenario dataset tidak terjawab dengan akurat. Uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p < 0,05, menandakan hasil signifikan. Chatbot ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media edukatif yang mendukung penyebaran informasi kesehatan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam memahami serta mencegah Tuberkulosis Sensitif. Pengembangan selanjutnya disarankan mencakup fitur multibahasa dan integrasi dengan layanan kesehatan digital.
