Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital camera technology has led to a wide variety of products with diverse specifications, making it difficult for users to determine which camera best suits their needs. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to help users select the best camera objectively and systematically. This study aims to apply the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in the process of selecting a digital camera based on several criteria, namely price, camera resolution, night vision, image quality, camera and lens type, and storage media. The SAW method was chosen because it can perform normalization and weighting of each criterion, thereby generating preference values as the basis for determining the best alternative. The data used in this study was processed through the stages of decision matrix formation, normalization, weighting, and alternative ranking. The results show that the Sony Alpha A6000 camera obtained the highest preference value of 0.7937, making it the recommended best alternative based on the specified criteria. Thus, the application of the SAW method can help users determine their choice of digital camera more effectively, systematically, and objectively.

Abstract

Arabic language learning at MAN Purbalingga still relies heavily on conventional lecture-based methods and printed textbooks, causing 62.9% of eleventh-grade students to feel disengaged from the current vocabulary (mufradat) memorization approach. This study aims to design and implement a mobile educational game entitled Arabic Quest as an interactive and engaging learning medium for Hajj and Umrah mufradat. Development was carried out using Unity 2022 LTS and C# programming language, following the Luther-Sutopo version of the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which encompasses six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The final product is an Android application (minimum version 8.0 Oreo) that integrates 2D adventure exploration mechanics, a trigger-based quiz system, and a Hajj and Umrah ticket reward as feedback for mission completion. Beta Testing was conducted with 33 eleventh-grade students of MAN Purbalingga using a Likert scale 1–5 questionnaire across four indicators. Results show an average feasibility score of 86.1%, with individual scores of 86.7% for Visual Quality, 86.2% for Usability, 85.9% for Engagement, and 85.8% for Content Quality, all classified as Very Feasible. It is concluded that Arabic Quest is suitable as an effective self-learning medium and represents an innovative alternative to conventional Arabic language instruction at the madrasah aliyah level.

Abstract

Wedding Organizer services assist in planning and organizing wedding events. At Gemilang Wedding Organizer Kudus, the ordering and data management processes were previously handled manually, causing inefficiencies in transaction recording, scheduling, and payment monitoring. This study aims to design and develop a web-based wedding organizer ordering information system to improve service efficiency and data management. The system development method applied is the Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database. Main features include wedding package catalog, online ordering, payment proof upload, transaction verification, event scheduling management, and transaction reporting. Black Box testing results indicate that all system functions operate according to specified requirements. Furthermore, User Acceptance Testing demonstrates a high level of user acceptance, indicating that the system is feasible and capable of supporting operational activities while improving service quality at Gemilang Wedding Organizer Kudus.

Abstract

Web-based real-time communication services possess vulnerabilities originating from UDP Flood, which serve as a loophole for cyberattack threats. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a Snort-based Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) in mitigating packet flood attacks on WebRTC applications within a Virtual Private Server (VPS). This research employs an experimental NDLC  method. The attack testing was conducted using Kali Linux from a VPS cekrescirebon.cloud. The testing was performed by simulating UDP Flood attacks using the hping3 tool on port 3478, targeting the turnserver service. Observations were carried out through hardware performance parameters using htop, as well as network traffic monitoring via iftop and tshark to monitor the Quality of Service (QoS). Attacks were classified into low, medium, and high levels. The observation results show that low and medium-level attacks did not reach 100% CPU usage, and RAM resources were not fully exhausted. However, high-level attacks without protection resulted in significant system anomalies, where CPU usage surged to 100% and RAM consumption increased critically, potentially leading to a total Denial of Service (DoS). The implementation of Snort IPS with the Data Acquisition (DAQ) mechanism via the Netfilter Queue (NFQ) module proved to be the optimal solution for the single-interface architecture of the VPS. By applying local rules with a "drop" action, Snort successfully identified and automatically terminated illegal traffic once the attack threshold was exceeded. Final data demonstrate drastic system efficiency, where the CPU load decreased back to a stable level below 5% despite the ongoing attack. This study concludes that the integration of Snort IPS with NFQ configuration provides robust proactive protection, maintains server resource availability, and ensures the stability of WebRTC services against data flood-based exploitation threats.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the sales process at HIMATEKFORS, Universitas Pendidikan Muhammadiyah Sorong, which was still conducted manually, making the process less efficient and ineffective. The study aimed to develop a web-based sales information system as a medium for product promotion, transaction management, and sales reporting. The system development applied the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing, as well as operation and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP Native with MySQL as the database. The available features include user registration and login, product catalog and search, shopping cart, checkout, order history, product management, sales reports, and store information management. Black Box Testing was conducted using 25 testing scenarios, and the results showed that all system functions operated properly with a success rate of 100%. Meanwhile, the System Usability Scale (SUS) testing involving 20 respondents obtained an average score of 77.3, which falls into the Good category. Based on these results, the developed system is expected to improve promotional effectiveness, simplify transaction processes, and assist in managing sales reports at HIMATEKFORS UNIMUDA Sorong.

Abstract

The increasing number of network attacks requires intrusion detection models that are not only accurate but also efficient in terms of execution time, energy use, and carbon emissions. This study evaluates baseline XGBoost and four hyperparameter optimization approaches, namely Tree-structured Parzen Estimator (TPE), Asynchronous Successive Halving Algorithm (ASHA), Hyperband, and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), for multi-class intrusion classification on the CICIDS2017 Wednesday-workingHours subset. The evaluation uses predictive metrics, including accuracy, macro recall, macro F1-score, macro precision, and one-vs-rest AUC, as well as computational sustainability metrics consisting of CO2 emissions, energy consumption, execution time, and CPU/RAM/GPU energy details. The results show that XGBoost+TPE achieves the highest predictive performance with an accuracy of 0.9995 and macro F1-score of 0.9959, although its execution time increases to 13.04 seconds. In contrast, XGBoost+Hyperband maintains an accuracy of 0.9994 and macro F1-score of 0.9957 while reducing CO2 emissions by 56.50%, energy consumption by 56.54%, and execution time by 49.60% compared with the baseline. These findings indicate that Hyperband provides the most balanced configuration for intrusion detection scenarios that require high accuracy and computational efficiency.

Abstract

Determining the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) of processed palm oil products remains a significant challenge for PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II. The large number of interrelated cost components and the absence of a structured analytical system have caused the evaluation process to be less optimal. This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a web-based Decision Support System to evaluate the COGM of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) products. The SAW method was selected due to its ability to objectively assess multiple criteria through normalization, weighting, and preference value calculations. The data used include raw material costs, labor costs, factory overhead costs, and selling prices from January to December 2024, consisting of 12 production month alternatives and 4 main criteria. The results showed that the SAW method was able to generate a ranking of production cost efficiency, where September obtained the highest preference value of 0.8407, while August had the lowest value of 0.5861. The developed system has passed validation testing with 100% conformity to manual calculations and successfully passed functionality testing using the black box method. Therefore, the implementation of the SAW method has proven effective in assisting management in evaluating COGM more quickly, objectively, and measurably, as well as supporting decision-making related to production cost efficiency at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II.

Abstract

The profession introduction learning process at TK Negeri Dharma Wanita Kefamenanu is currently still conventional and teacher-centered, using images and videos as media, which makes children tend to be passive and less actively engaged. This study aims to produce a profession introduction application based on Augmented Reality (AR) that is suitable for the characteristics of kindergarten students. The development followed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with implementation using Unity and Vuforia. The application displays 3D objects of thirteen professions equipped with animations, audio, and a letter-arranging game. Functional testing (Black Box Testing) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) were conducted. The test results showed that all features functioned properly and the UAT average score reached 93.02% in the very good category. The conclusion of this study is that the ProfesiKu AR application was successfully developed and is feasible to be used as a learning medium for profession introduction for kindergarten students.

Abstract

The Center for Village Government (BBPD) in Malang faces administrative challenges in training village officials across 16 provinces in Eastern Indonesia. This study aims to design and implement a web-based integrated portal and E-Registration system to solve the inefficiencies of manual data management across regions. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, integrating the WordPress CMS as a public information portal and the Laravel framework as the core registration system. Key functionalities include online registration, QR Code-integrated attendance, structured regional hierarchy management, and E-Certificates. System testing was conducted through Blackbox Testing, performance testing, quantitative efficiency evaluation, and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Test results indicate that this integrated system functions stably with an average response time of under 3 seconds. Quantitatively, the integrated system successfully increased verification time efficiency by 65%, reduced data input errors (human error) from 15% to under 3%, and accelerated certificate distribution from a 4-day queue to under 1 minute. A SUS score of 84.5 (Excellent) proves the system interface is highly user-friendly for village officials with diverse digital literacy backgrounds. In conclusion, the integration of these two platforms has successfully achieved an efficient, transparent, and inclusive e-government administrative transformation within BBPD Malang.

Abstract

Floods are one of the most common types of natural disasters in the Sumatra region and have sparked a variety of public reactions that are widely shared on social media, particularly on the X (Twitter) platform. This study aims to analyze public perceptions of the flood disaster in Sumatra using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. Data was collected by gathering tweets containing the hashtags #prayforsumatera, #PrayForSumatera, #prayforsumatra, and #PrayforSumatra from November 27, 2025, to January 13, 2026, totaling 1,364 tweets in Indonesian. The research process involved data preprocessing (cleaning, lowercasing, tokenization, removal of irrelevant words, and stemming), automatic sentiment analysis using the VADER lexicon and standard thresholds (composite score ≥ 0.05 = positive; ≤ -0.05 = negative; in-between = neutral), feature extraction based on TF-IDF (3,000 features, n-grams 1–2), data splitting for training and testing with an 80:20 ratio, and classification modeling via an SVM optimized with GridSearchCV. The labeling results show a sentiment distribution of 603 positive data points (44.21%), 499 negative data points (36.58%), and 262 neutral data points (19.21%). The best parameters were found with C=1, class weight=‘balanced’, and a linear kernel, yielding a CV F1-macro score of 0.6260. The classification model developed achieved an accuracy of 71% on 273 test data points, with an average F1-score of 0.68 and a weighted average of 0.71. These findings indicate that SVM can identify public sentiment regarding the flood disaster in Sumatra with reasonably good performance, although categorization into the neutral class is more difficult due to the ambiguous nature of the text.
