Abstract

Abstract

Competition among higher education institutions in attracting prospective students has increased the need for more innovative and interactive campus introduction media. Conventional media such as brochures and static photographs are considered less effective in providing comprehensive spatial information about the campus environment. This study aims to develop a three-dimensional virtual tour of Universitas Amikom Purwokerto buildings using the Roblox platform as an interactive, engaging, and easily accessible campus introduction medium. The development process employed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The 3D modeling of campus buildings was created using Blender software and integrated into the Roblox platform through Roblox Studio to produce an interactive virtual environment. Functional testing results indicated that all main system features operated properly, including character navigation, interactive information panels, and accessibility on both PC and mobile devices. User evaluation was conducted through a beta testing session involving 30 respondents using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The evaluation results showed that the average score of all indicators ranged from 4.37 to 4.77, with the highest scores obtained for the intention to recommend the media to others (4.77) and its effectiveness compared to conventional media (4.70). These findings demonstrate that the Roblox-based 3D virtual tour is an effective, informative, interactive, and easily accessible medium for introducing the campus environment to prospective users.

Abstract

In an increasingly connected society, the ability to understand each other is key to bridging differences. For the deaf community in Indonesia, Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO) is the primary bridge for expressing their thoughts and feelings. However, when this language encounters a public environment where the majority do not understand it, communication often stalls. This situation inspired this research, which developed a system capable of recognizing and converting BISINDO gestures directly into text. The classification process uses the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method, while hand, face, and body frame detection utilizes MediaPipe Holistic This study utilizes a dataset of 110 videos involving 10 participants to perform 10 BISINDO vocabularies frequently used in everyday conversation and 1 idle gesture class. Real-time testing results show that a model with 11 classes, using a bidirectional LSTM architecture, 1000 epochs, 64 hidden layer units, and a batch size of 32, is able to achieve 91.25% validation accuracy.

Abstract

Providing price discounts is an important marketing strategy to enhance product attractiveness and increase sales volume, especially in accessory businesses such as Diana Accessories. However, the process of determining which products deserve discounts is often carried out subjectively and is not based on structured criteria analysis. This study aims to optimize decision-making in granting discounts on accessory products by using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method as a decision support system. The ARAS method is used to rank product alternatives based on several criteria. The criteria used in determining price discounts are limited to five main factors, namely: monthly sales level, stock quantity, profit margin (%), market demand, and product selling price, thereby providing a clearer basis in the evaluation process. The results show that the implementation of the ARAS method is able to provide more objective and accurate recommendations in determining discount priorities. The system developed also assists management in making decisions more quickly and efficiently. In conclusion, the ARAS method is effective in optimizing discount decision-making, thereby improving sales strategies and business competitiveness.

Abstract

Digital transformation in document management has become a crucial urgency to enhance efficiency and reduce reliance on physical documents. In the manufacturing sector, paper-based manual processes frequently trigger operational bottlenecks, such as sluggish approval bureaucracies, complex archive retrieval, and material waste. In response to these challenges, this study aims to design and implement a web-based Document Management System (DMS) equipped with an integrated role-based workflow mechanism. The system development approach adopted the Agile Software Development methodology using Scrum to ensure adaptive iterations throughout each sprint. Technically, the architecture was built using the Next.js framework with a PostgreSQL database and securely deployed within the company's intranet network. Testing results demonstrated a highly positive quantitative impact. The document approval cycle was successfully reduced from an average of six working days to just one day, representing an 83% surge in efficiency. Furthermore, the consumption of physical materials such as paper and toner was reduced by over 90%. The system also massively accelerated archive retrieval time, dropping from 10–30 minutes to a mere 1–3 seconds. In conclusion, the implementation of this digital DMS is proven to be vital in driving operational efficiency and realizing a paperless work ecosystem.

Abstract

The Nevira application is a web-based laundry business information system developed to support operational management, particularly transaction recording, service-progress monitoring, and information delivery to users. The main problem addressed is the absence of an automatic and real-time mechanism for communicating service-status information, which causes communication delays (a communication gap) between operational staff and the business owner. This study aims to develop an automatic notification module integrated into the Nevira system to convey service-status changes quickly and accurately. The development method used is Scrum, an iterative and incremental approach carried out through six two-week sprints, with product-backlog prioritization performed using the Eisenhower Matrix. Functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique and complemented by User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The testing results show that all test scenarios (18 test cases executed on the Back Office and Point of Sale platforms) were valid/passed, while the UAT obtained a 100% acceptance rate from the primary user (the business owner). Therefore, applying the Scrum method in development and the Equivalence Partitioning technique in testing is proven capable of producing a functional, efficient automatic notification module that meets user needs.

Abstract

Food price fluctuations ahead of Ramadan in Indonesia are a seasonal phenomenon with a significant impact on regional economic stability. This study aims to develop a price prediction model for five major food commodities, namely medium rice, curly red chili, shallots, chicken eggs, and cooking oil, in South Sumatra Province using the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) approach. The analysis stages began with stationarity testing of historical data, determining optimal model parameters, and evaluating accuracy using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) method. The results show that the SARIMA model effectively identifies seasonal trends with a very high level of accuracy, evidenced by an error rate of only 1.92% for medium rice. Projections for 2026 indicate that rice and chicken egg prices tend to remain stable, while horticultural products such as red chili show a downward trend. This study concludes that not all food commodities experience price increases before Ramadan; therefore, local government intervention should be conducted selectively based on the characteristics of each commodity. This model can be implemented as an early warning instrument to support economic stability in the South Sumatra region.

Abstract

Cryptographic hash algorithms play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity and security, particularly in systems processing large amounts of diverse data. However, algorithm selection is often based solely on standards and adoption rates without considering performance stability against variations in data characteristics. This study aims to assess the stability of the SHA-256, BLAKE2, Whirlpool, and Skein algorithms against variations in multimedia data, specifically text, images, music, and video, through two main dimensions: Resource Stability and Statistical Stability. A benchmarking-based computational approach was employed by measuring CPU, memory, latency, and throughput usage over ten runs. The stability level is described using the Coefficient of Variation (CV) to measure the relative variation between runs. The test results show that Whirlpool has the most consistent Resource Stability level with the lowest average CV values for CPU (1.86%), memory (6.67%), latency (2.66%), and throughput (3.04%), which indicates the most stable performance compared to other algorithms. In terms of statistical stability, all algorithms exhibit an avalanche effect approaching ideal conditions (≈50%), an even distribution of hexadecimal outputs, and a bit ratio approaching 50:50 without significant bias. No pure cryptographic collisions were found; hash value similarities were detected by duplicate dataset content. The results confirm that the selection of a hash algorithm should consider the stability of resource utilization in addition to security aspects, especially in systems with high computational loads and diverse data characteristics.
