Abstract

Teacher competence and teacher welfare are essential aspects to successfully improve education quality. Assessment instrument models for teacher competence and teacher welfare therefore important to be developed to meet the required standards. This study aims at developing a set of assessment instrument models for teacher competence, teacher welfare, and educational quality improvement. The study was designed for two years adopting the Research and Development method employing 4D models consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The result of this study is in the form of assessment models for teacher competence, teacher welfare, and quality of education which have been validated by selected teachers, principals, and school supervisors. This assessment models have strong beneficial significance to the improvement of education quality and teacher professional development.

Abstract

This article was intended at discussing not optimal Hindu teacher’s performance who was certified educator in junior high school at Denpasar City. The topic is chosen based on unbalancing between ideal and reality. The government was intended to improve them through certification programs, included improving their welfare. However, the reality was the teacher’s performance who have been certified educator was not optimal. At least, there were three questions discussed i.e., the cause not optimal of their performance, efforts were conducted to improve performance and its implications. The study is used a qualitative approach. Therefore, in terms of the data analysis is not an emphasis on measurement but on the effort to describe and explore.

Abstract

Business organizations are continuously and rapidly expanding. Gone are the days when only individual’s talent and abilities that were counted upon. Business organizations today have found out that the key factor of achieving more and better results at work is when individuals of diverse abilities are formed into a team. This ability to work as part of a team is one of the most imperative skills today. Business organizations are looking for individuals who can not only furnish their own ideas but also who would like to create and develop projects and plans with equally talented people. This paper emphasizes the need and importance of working in a team based organizational setting and also focuses on the five stages of development o a team in the organization.

Abstract

This research was intended for obtaining an empirical evidence regarding good corporate governance to moderate the influence of bid-ask spread and leverage on earnings management. Earnings management was measured by the three proxies of real earnings management. It was included cash flow operation, production cost, and discretionary expenses. Bid-ask spread was measured by ask and bid price of the companys shares in given period. Leverage was measured by the ratio of total debt and assets. A good corporate governance was measured by score Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI). The research population was a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2015. The sampling method is used a purposive sampling. The samples analyzed was 56 samples. An analytical technique is used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The result showed that a good corporate governance did not moderate the influence of bid-ask spread on earnings management. However, a good corporate governance weakens the influence of leverage on earnings management.

Abstract

Mandiri SKYZ card (travel card products) is a master card credit card rebranding titanium to facilitate customers who often abroad. This study aimed to analyze the effect of business process reengineering in the face of the offensive marketing to increase brand awareness SKYZ Card. The sample in this study as many as 100 people. The analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The analysis showed that the business process reengineering significant effect on Brand Awareness SKYZ Card. This shows that the better Business process reengineering can improve brand awareness. Therefore, in the face of the offensive marketing need to design the look of the existing SKYZ Card website in order to become more attractive.

Abstract

The present research was intended at determining the influence of organizational culture, employee satisfaction, and personality towards organizational commitment and employee performance. It was quantitative designed i.e., the relationship of causality for its variable. The research was conducted at Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) in Bali. The technique of collecting the data was used questionnaires to 135 employees of BPR in Bali. Data were analyzed through Structure Equation Modeling technique in AMOS 22.0 program. The results were obtained (1) the influence of organizational culture variable on organizational commitment was significant; (2) The influence of employee satisfaction variable on organizational commitment was significant; (3) The influence of personality variable on organizational commitment was significant; (4) The influence of organizational culture variable on employee performance interest was significant; (5) The influence of employee satisfaction variable on employee performance was significant; (6) The influence of personality variable on employee performance was significant; and (7) The influence of organizational commitment variable on employee performance was significant.

Abstract

The study was intended to obtain an empirical evidence of competence influence of Human Resources and Internal Control System on quality of Local Government Financial Statements (LKPD) with leadership style and organizational culture as moderating variables. There was 39 local structure organization in Denpasar city became a research population. Data were collected through survey method and questionnaire technique. The sample was taken using the non-probability method and purposive sampling technique. There were 152 respondents. Data analysis is used Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).The result was obtained that the leadership style weakens the influence of human resource competence on LKPD quality in Denpasar. Organizational culture strengthens the influence of human resources competencies in LKPD Denpasar. The leadership style did not moderate the influence of Internal Control System on LKPD quality in Denpasar. Organizational culture strengthens the influence of internal control system on quality in LKPD Denpasar.
