Abstract

This study analyzes the modernization of TNI AL weaponry systems to support maritime defense tasks in Indonesian jurisdictional waters. Using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, the research identifies the challenges and obstacles faced, as well as determining modernization priorities. The ANP results show that modernizing the Indonesian Navy Warship (KRI) is the top priority, followed by the development of Fast Missile Boats (KCR), the modernization of the Maritime Air Defense System, and the procurement of new submarines. Additionally, the Indonesian Navy faces both conventional military threats, such as naval attacks from other countries, and asymmetric threats, including piracy and maritime terrorism. To address these threats, the Indonesian Navy needs to develop advanced technologies, including cyber security and monitoring technologies to prevent illegal activities at sea. The study also finds that modernization efforts face various obstacles, requiring the improvement of maintenance facilities and intensive training. The use of ANP and NVivo helps formulate an effective modernization strategy to enhance operational readiness and the maritime defense capabilities of the Indonesian Navy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of single parents in Catholic families and determine the moral values of young people in Tanjung Morawa Rayon. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation techniques. The number of respondents in the research was 14 people, namely 7 single parents and 7 young people in Tanjung Morawa Rayon. Based on the research results, it was found that the role of single parents plays a role well and also significantly in the moral values of young people which shape young people into individuals who have integrity, good manners, responsibility and strong discipline. Single parents not only provide instructions, but also provide real examples in daily life, reinforcing these values through direct interaction and active participation in church activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to 1) analyze the work of the Magelang Regency KPU and Banjarnegara Regency KPU in fulfilling voters' political rights in the 2019 Election; 2) analyze the influence of Form-C6 management on voters in the 2019 Election in Magelang Regency and Banjarnegara Regency; and 3) analyze the KPU's strategy to optimize administrative management of form C-6. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with informants namely KUPD, City/Regency Banwaslu, District KPPS, TPS supervisors, and voters both in Banjarnegara Regency and those in Magelang Regency. The results of the research show that there are voters who are registered on the Permanent Voter List (DTP) but did not receive the C6 Form in the 2019 Election, in Magelang Regency data collection and management is complete while Banjarnegara Regency is the district with the most C6 form returns and the KPU's strategy is to optimize administrative management of form C-6 is carried out by opening complaints and services to people who have registered in the DPT.

Abstract

This study aims to assess immobility time in Sham group mice (Mus musculus), assess the effect of fluoxetine antidepressant on immobility time in mice (Mus musculus), assess the impact of bandotan leaf extract antidepressant (Ageratum conyzoides lin) on immobility time in mice (Mus musculus), evaluate the antidepressant effectiveness of the combination of bandotan leaf extract (Ageratum conyzoides lin) with fluoxetine on immobility time in mice (Mus musculus), and compare the efficacy of the four groups, namely group 1 (Sham), group 2 (fluoxetine), group 3 (bandotan leaf extract (Ageratum conyzoides lin)), and group 4 (Fluoxetine with bandotan leaf extract (Ageratum conyzoides lin)). This study uses a type of quantitative approach and pure experimental method (true experimental research) with Posttest only Control Group Design research design. The results showed that the mean immobility time in mice (Mus musculus) group 1 (Sham) was for 34 ± 22.1 seconds. The average immobility time in mice (Mus musculus) group 2 (Fluoxetine) is for 162.5 ± 44.43 seconds. The average immobility time in mice (Mus musculus) group 3 (Bandotan leaf extract) was 172.67 ± 40.5 seconds. The average immobility time in mice (Mus musculus) group 4 (Combination of fluoxetine with bandotan leaf extract) was 118.83 ± 24.1 seconds. The combination of fluoxetine with bandotan leaf extract has significance (p-value 0.039 <0.05) as an antidepressant in reducing immobility time in mice so that bandotan leaves can act as adjuvant therapy.

Abstract

This research aims to describe each influence of the marketing mix starting from public relations advertising, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing on a company's brand image. This research uses literature review techniques with a descriptive qualitative approach. Search for literature using the Google search engine and Google Scholar with the keywords "marketing communications", "brand image awareness", "factors influencing brand image awareness", "brand image and marketing communications". The literature sought is journals, books, conference proceedings, and so on to be analyzed critically and explain what is found in each piece of literature. The research results show that the factor that influences brand image is implementing marketing communication strategies. A marketing communications strategy can create marketing information that provides value according to a comprehensive company plan. The factors that influence a good marketing strategy are marketing communication, where marketing communication is not only about promotion, but there are important elements or communication mix, namely advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing. These five elements can influence the brand image of a company so that the company can increase sales of a product.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the structure of plankton abundance and water quality in the Batang Hari River in Tebo Regency. The research method used was purposive sampling at 3 (three) points on the Batang Hari River during February - July 2024. The research results found 3 classes of Phytoplankton, namely: Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, and Cyanophyceae as well as 1 species of Zooplankton (Ciliata). This research also found the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H') between 1.555 and 1.559; This shows the moderate stability of the plankton community and is supported by a water temperature of 28°C and adequate phosphate and nitrate content.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between knowledge, education and maternal age with the provision of complete basic immunization to babies aged 0-12 months at the Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) Hj. Rusmala Aini. This census research used quantitative methods with univariate and bivariate analysis. The participants in this research were mothers who visited PMB Hj Rusmala Aini, which included 40 babies. The results of this study reveal that there is a relationship between the level of education and the mother's age and the provision of complete basic immunization to babies aged 0-12 months at the Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) Hj. Rusmala Aini, but there is no relationship between mothers' knowledge of providing complete basic immunization to babies aged 0-12 months.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) public relations management planning strategies, (2) improving school quality and (3) building the role of the community in educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative research method, literature study. The method used is library research, collecting data by searching for sources and constructing them from various sources such as books, journals and existing research. The results of this research indicate that (1) planning, implementation and evaluation processes are needed to manage community relations with schools, (2) schools carry out community relations as a public relations work program by socializing the school's image, and (3) evaluation of these activities is carried out in implementation. Future public relations will be carried out by involving and including the participation of parents, the community and other educational institutions to be able to establish collaborative activities and educational collaboration through school public relations information and communication.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the fourth largest population in the world. In 2022, waste in Indonesia reached 36.00 million tons/year. DKI Jakarta Province has a vast waste generation rate of 3.10 million tons/year potentially ending in a waste processing site called TPST Bantargebang. The DKI Jakarta Province recorded as much as 7,000 to 8,000 tons/day of waste entering the TPST Bantargebang, with a regional waste reduction target of 27.00%. TPST Bantargebang has reduced waste by processing waste into fuel and electricity. Another reduction factor that has yet to receive attention is the role of waste pickers. In 2022, the number of waste pickers at TPTS Bantagebang is 6,413 people. This research examines the potential role of waste pickers in reducing waste at the TPST Bantargebang. This research is an observational study conducted by sampling and interviewing the waste pickers. The sample in this research was 98 waste pickers who collected waste samples for eight consecutive days. The results show that waste pickers at TPST Bantargebang potentially reduced 144.08 kg of waste/person/day, with the most prominent composition being plastic waste at 49.88%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that scavengers at TPST Bantargebang can reduce waste by up to 12.55%. The value of potential waste reduction by waste pickers can be used for waste reduction calculations at TPST Bantargebang.

Abstract

Low self-esteem is a feeling of worthlessness, insignificance, and low self-esteem resulting from negative self-evaluation so that it requires management to increase self-esteem. One non-medical method is expressive writing therapy which aims to forget the contents of deep thoughts and feelings thereby increasing self-esteem. This research uses a pre-test-post-test method through a process of interviews, observation and using stationery. The subject of this research is the nursing problem of chronic low self-esteem with an intervention time of 6 days. The results of the research show that there is an effect of providing expressive writing therapy. Observation results showed a decrease in symptoms in patients with chronic low self-esteem and increased feelings of worth and self-confidence
