<![CDATA[Cacao seeds are recalcitrant seeds quickly lose its growing when not immediately dikecambahkan after the last of the parent plant. Cocoa seeds can not be dried below the critical water and not tolerant of low temperatures. Shipping cocoa seeds for long distances requires packaging and storage of seeds baikuntuk maintain its growth or seed viability remains high until the time comes for planting.This research has been carried out in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Batanghari Basics about 3 months from February 2014 until June 2014.This study used a completely randomized design environment consisting of a single factor, with the provision of treatment osmoticum PEG-6000 in the cocoa seeds are packaged in HDPE plastic ventilated 10%, with the level of brand osmoticum PEG-6000 as follows: P0 Without osmoticum packed in ventilated plastic 10 %, P1, osmoticum concentration of 15% in ventilated plastic containers in 10%, 30% P2 osmoticum concentration in ventilated plastic containers in 10%, 45% P3 osmoticum concentration in ventilated plastic containers in 10%.Treatment osmoticum PEG-6000 with 45% concentration can inhibit seed germination until day 21 of 9.67 and viability of seeds stored and vigornya still in good condition. Osmoticum PEG-6000 treatment with several concentrations of the cocoa seed parameters significantly affect the percentage of seed germination and the percentage of moldy seed in storage, but no real effect on germination percentage, vigor index and germination rate after storage.Keyword: Osmotikum, rekalsitran, cocoa]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to describe and influence of extra-curricular activities and learning attitude towards learning outcomes on economic subjects students at SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. As for the sample totaled 151 students by using proportional random sampling technique. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the presence of extra-curricular activities will educate students in attitude in the learning process and improve the students' interests and talents in order to obtain the results of learning more than ever.Keyword : Extracurricular Activities, Attitudes Learning, Learning Outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[In road construction, there is a need to assess the adequacy of the subgrade to behave satisfactorily beneath a pavement. The adequacy usually representated as California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value. In-situ penetration tests have been widely used in geotechnical and foundation engineering for site investigation in support of analysis and design.The CBR in-place is typical in-situ penetration test. While the Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT), relatively cost cheaper than CBR in-place test, could give the CBR value through formulas stated by researchers.This paper presented the comparison of CBR values found from CBR in-place test and DCP test along 22,4 km of road construction at WKS road, Merlung Region of Jambi Province.The result shown the same trend of CBR value of both methods. However, difference between two test method will result in different of segment CBR as use for pavement design. <![CDATA[Education Ministry is to provide a broad autonomy in school institutions in the concept of school-based management (SBM). With the MBS school empowerment can be optimally oriented to the four aspects, namely to: improve the quality of education, equity, relevance, and efficiency of education providers. Structurally include: political commitment and policies of the central government (MONE) which is makro.Sedangkan formulation of the problem is: The extent to which the implementation of the program is reason to twelve (12) years in the District of Batang? How the Economic Impact of the development and evaluation of regional expenditure in the education sector development Against Batang District. To analyze the use of secondary data. Furthermore, the data is processed and analyzed descriptively. The first problem formulation will be answered by comparing the components of SPM both elementary school (SD) and high school (SMP) and High School (SMA), which is divided into a number of indicators of achievement of the minimum standards have to be met. The standard is based on the attainment of a minimum percentage, presence or absence of indicators and the increase or decrease in the indicator. Furthermore, achievement of the object studied empirically may be smaller or larger than the Minimum Service Standards (MSS) are determined. As for analyzing economic growth education sector used the model as follows: (PDRBt – PDRBt-1)Economic Growth (GDP ) = --------------------------- x 100% PDRBtThe results of the above analysis shows that the contribution of 60% of local government is still happening Gap between the expenses and the cost of education that should be spent both for elementary and junior high school. The dependence of the cost of education is still expecting central contribution that minimum service standards can be achieved. With economic growth (GDP) 21.66% expected a significant economic impact on the development of the education sector in the district of Batanghari. <![CDATA[Maintenance or maintenance is an activity to maintain the machine or other production equipment by repairing or replacing the necessary equipment to the existence of the machine satisfactory as expected, while according to Arikunto (2008) Maintenance is a function within a factory company that is as important as the function- Other functions such as production, the purpose of this study is to determine the maintenance of the machine, to know the production process and to determine the effect of machine maintenance on the production process at PT. ABP (Aneka Bumi Pratama) in Kabupaten Batanghari. The method used by distributing the quisioner to the youth respondents was analyzed by using simple linear regression to see the effect of machine maintenance on the production process. <![CDATA[Background : Loneliness become one of vital issues in college student, at any degrees anyone of them have felt of loneliness. Male or female student are both have the opportunity to feel alone depend on their own situation and condition. Self-esteem is become another problem faced by a college student. Low self esteem may impact students live such as lack of self-worth, lack of self-confidence and having no goal pursuit behavior. The objective of this research was to find the relationship between gender, loneliness and self esteem among college student at teacher training Faculty, Batanghari University Jambi.Method: about 76 college student at teacher training faculty, Batanghari University Jambi 18 male and 56 female was taken as subject of the research by using incidental random sampling technique. Self esteem scale from Sorensen was delivered to the subject, mean while for loneliness it was used 20 question of loneliness scale from schmit and sermat (1983). It reveal four category of loneliness, friendship, family, romantic relationship and group.Result: Data gained by using pearson correlation showed there were significant correlation between gender, loneliness and self-esteem. t-count 0.549and t-table 0.227 its mean that hypotheses stated that there were correlation between gender to loneliness and self-esteem was accepted. Majority of subject have loneliness in friendship. Subject have low to severe self-esteem, gender didn’t make the difference. Key words : loneliness, self esteem]]>

<![CDATA[Legislation has been trying to set up restrictions on the matter either formal or substantial, yet virtually all banged on human rights justice seekers. Cassation is the remedy granted to the accused and the public prosecutor when a court verdict against the object to drop him. In its application of LAW MA No.5 2004 Article 45A Clause 2 it turns out having problems because there are still many cases of Cassation who ended up in MA.The reason of Cassation Petition submitted refers to the CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE and the jurisprudence. So it is important not to appeal Restrictions or not useful. That is an important issue is the improvement of the quality and morale of the judges so that the judge can be a fair verdict spawned the present bottom. <![CDATA[A quality College is a College that is able to carry its work to improve the quality of, the role and responsibility in education so that the College is not just a container for printing the first undergraduate course, but rather a container to produce scholars who are able to master and apply the discipline. To support the achievement of all of this, the University Batanghari needs to know what factors affect High School graduates in choosing a college. Through this identification, the University can improve all activities and attributes related to the educational process.The results showed that the strategy 4 p's (product, price, place and promotion) that has been established by the University Batanghari overall greatly affect high school students in choosing Course Management Faculty of Economics University Batanghari; While partially a product of factors have the greatest influence in mcmpcngaruhi kcputusan high school students in taking decisions to choose Economics Program study management University Batanghari, therefore University Batanghari should keep trying to improve the quality of education both in teaching systems as well as the quality of the professors who teach, in addition to any educational facilities should continue to be improved such as the addition of economic literature books in the library teaching room facilities, or lab.Keyword: product, price, place and promotion]]>
