Abstract

This study aims to find the therapeutic strategies to the gay victims. The phenomenon of the rising of the gay community is increasingly worrying, of course that behavior is abnormal for Indonesians, especially for Muslims. This community actually began to grow in 1982 in Solo, 1985 in Yogyakarta, 1993 in Pekanbaru, 1999 in Surabaya, and still exists in cyberspace (social media). The research method applied is a qualitative approach with the type of composed hermeneutics research analysis, with the object study of therapeutic thought of Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyah and the examined subject in the RSC-M Malang (Ruqyah Syar'iyyah Center Malang). The study found four therapeutic strategies that can be applied to the gay victims. First, the main focus of intervention is in mind/belief intervention. Second, the target towards an ideal person is the transfer from a sinful person to a person who obeys God's commandments and avoids His prohibition. Third, analysis and diagnosis is efforts to identify and find the errors in the chain of perception, belief, sex drive, behavior, and habit of the gay victims. Fourth, the application of homosexual victim alleviation techniques consists of prevention and healing pathways, prevention pathways is in the form of 'self-training' subjecting themselves to the same things, while healing pathways is in the form of the application of intervention techniques of the mind, self-conversion and statements of repentance and istigfar, as well as the worship therapy. The recommendations of this study is to be applied by practitioners and counsellors in providing counselling services to the gay victims.

Abstract

Mental health is currently a growing issue in Indonesia. Mental health is a balanced state and the achievement of individual development tasks. Individuals who are facing poor mental health will develop self-narratives that tend to be destructive. Self-narrative is an individual's life story consisting of values, experiences and identities that are internalized into a belief and personality. Self-destructive narratives affect individual development. Problems that are closely related to depression experienced by individuals are falling in love and heartbreak. These problems provide stress effects to depression to individuals. Depression contributes the greatest value to suicide rates. The method used is qualitative research with narrative approach. The subject strengthens his inner values through the study of the verses of the Qur'an and self-evaluation in a series of self-help processes. Self help consists of the process of understanding the values of life in the verses of the Qur'an, evaluating relationships with the Almighty and preparing for the worst. The subject has a perspective and meaning related to falling in love and broken heart experienced and internalized into self-narration. Self-narration is developed based on the results of self-help that is done so that it can bring up new meanings in life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the discovery of Malay culture students who have not thought of a clear career plan after graduating from high school, Malay culture students are also found to be confused in choosing majors in Higher Education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Malay culture on student career planning. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a natural setting approach. Data collection in this study using observation techniques, interviews, carried out simultaneously with data analysis. Data analysis using the Spradley model, namely through 4 stages of data analysis including domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and discovering cultural themes. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be explained the influence of Malay culture on student career planning, namely: 1) discipline; students culture Malay discipline in completing the tasks of the teacher, 2) responsibilities; Malay cultural students have a high sense of responsibility in doing assignments, 3) light-handed; Malay cultural students have a mild attitude in mobilizing things that support learning activities, 4) high learning desires; Malay cultural students have a high desire in learning activities both at school and at home, 5) diligent; Malay cultural students are also classified as students who are diligent, it shows students in working on creative tasks.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student self-resilience through ego approach group counseling services. This type of research is quantitative experiments. The research data were obtained through a Likert scale student resilience research instrument with five alternative answers. The research design used was One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The instrument validity was tested using the Product Moment formula, and the reliability test was performed using the Alpha formula. The instrument validity test results obtained valid instrument items 52 items and 13 items are invalid with a reliability coefficient of 0.951. Based on the results of the analysis of research data after getting treatment of the ego approach group counseling services, there was an increase in self-resilience of students of class XI MIPA through ego approach group counseling services. From the results of proposing a hypothesis using the z-test formula, the value of Zhitung 2,807, while ztable is 1,833, it can be concluded that "group approach counseling services ego can increase student self-resilience". From the results of this study it is suggested that the supervising teacher should program an ego approach group counseling service so that students can increase self-resilience.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that there are still students who do not understand the use of social media properly so that it has an impact on student learning behavior at school. This has an effect on the unsatisfactory student learning outcomes at school because social media is not used for learning but is used more as a place of entertainment. Based on this, this study will reveal how the influence of the use of social media on learning behavior. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative data collection using a Likert scale. Then analyzed using the help of the SPSS 16.00 for windows program. The results of this study can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of social media on student learning behavior as evidenced by the results of testing the accepted hypothesis are Ha and Ho which is indicated by the value of t = 6.011, which is greater than t table = 2.001. Then the level of influence of the use of social media on student learning behavior is in the high category indicated by the tcount value of 6.011. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that excessive use of social media has a profound effect on learning behavior at school.

Abstract

The research objective was to reveal whether there were differences in students' independent learning before (pre-test) and after (post-test) providing information services with cinematographic media. It was found that the phenomenon of student independent learning was low, the desire of students was less to learn, and the lack of understanding of students in learning. One type of guidance and counseling service that can be used to improve students' independent learning in schools is information services using cinematographic media. This research is a quantitative research with a Quasi Experiment model with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was students with a total of 99 students and a sample of 32 people who were determined purposively. How to collect data through self-learning scale. Data were analyzed using Paired Sampels T-Test with the help of SPSS version 20.00. The findings of the study show that information services using cinematographic media are effective for improving students 'independent learning in schools and there are differences in students' independent learning in schools in the pre-test and post-test after treatment using information services with cinematographic media. This research can be concluded that the independent learning of students in schools can be improved through information services with cinematographic media. This study shows that the importance of implementing information services with cinematographic media in schools by school counselors so as to improve students' independent learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a creative arts module in counseling so that there are innovations in guidance and counseling services. Visual arts are one of the creative arts in counseling that can help someone relax the burdens they feel in everyday life. Visual Arts in creative counseling can be given to clients who have difficulty verbally expressing their problems. Visual arts can be an alternative for Guidance and Counseling Teachers in schools in carrying out counseling services. This research is a type of development research using the Borg and Gall model. The steps taken are collecting initial information, planning, product development, product validation and testing, product revision, field testing and product end revision. Product trials were carried out on Guidance and Counseling Teachers at the junior high school level in East Agam and in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. The results of the phase I module validation with a value of 15.8 where the module still needs to be revised including discussion of module content, as well as more interesting module design. Then the results of the practicality test with a value of Practical Enough, namely 3.8. The results of the phase II module verification with a value of 16.6 indicate that the module is suitable for use by the Guidance and Counseling Teacher and the results of the practicality test 4.01.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to determine the impact of terrorism on children and adolescents who live in the area of terror. The method used is the method of systematic literature review (SLR). SLR is a method that identifies, evaluates, and interprets findings on a research topic to answer a predetermined research question. From planning, conducting and reporting it can be concluded that terrorism has had a traumatic impact on many people, especially children and adolescents. The impact of terrorism can be experienced by children and adolescents in those who live at the scene of terror and children and adolescents of families of terrorists who experience negative stigma from the community as a family of terrorists. Children and adolescents affected by terrorism experience crucial problems to be able to rise up and undergo their psychological development naturally and without the pressure of trauma so that they need certain counseling so that they get up and are optimistic about their life's journey and the next stages of development. The recommendation of this study is the need for counseling to take on the role of strategy as an effort to build positive attitudes of children in facing the next stage of life so that they can undergo and realize career development positively as is usual for children and other adolescents who are not affected by terrorism. Moreover, learning from many countries, the government as a state representative must continue to be encouraged to care and dare to build a strong willingness to form institutions and regulatory frameworks for counseling services in many fields for increasingly diverse needs, especially the handling and prevention of trauma from the impact of terrorism.
