Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires long-term management through pharmacological therapy to control blood glucose levels and prevent complications. The success of drug therapy in patients with diabetes mellitus is strongly influenced by the level of patient adherence to treatment as recommended by healthcare professionals. This article aims to examine the role of patient adherence to pharmacological therapy in preventing complications of diabetes mellitus. The writing method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant sources, including textbooks and scientific articles related to diabetes mellitus and treatment adherence. The results of the review indicate that patient adherence in taking medication regularly, at the correct dosage, and according to the prescribed schedule plays a crucial role in maintaining stable blood glucose levels and reducing the risk of microvascular and macrovascular complications. In addition, patient knowledge, family support, and the role of healthcare providers significantly influence adherence levels. Therefore, improving patient adherence to pharmacological therapy should be a primary focus in diabetes mellitus management to prevent complications and enhance patients’ quality of life

Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze financial management in the New Student Admission (PPDB) process at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ma'mur, covering budget planning, fundraising, fund utilization, as well as reporting and accountability systems. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of PPDB financial documents. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that financial management of PPDB at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ma'mur has been implemented systematically through four main stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. The budget planning system is based on applicant projections; organizational management involves a clearly defined committee structure; fund receipt mechanisms utilize a coded receipt system; and financial reporting is conducted periodically (daily, weekly, and final reports). Effective PPDB financial management plays a crucial role in maintaining transparency, accountability, and operational stability of the pesantren, while also enhancing public trust. However, the digitalization of payment systems and the improvement of human resource capacity remain challenges that need to be addressed to further enhance the effectiveness of PPDB financial management.

Abstract

This study discusses the process of contextualization and actualization of Islamic education in the contemporary era from the perspective of the philosophy of Islamic education, particularly based on Abdul Wahid’s thought. The era of globalization, digitalization, and secularization of values demands that Islamic education remain relevant without losing its foundational principles. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach through philosophical literature review, this study examines the ontological, epistemological, and axiological aspects of Islamic education. The results show that Islamic education can be contextualized through the reinterpretation of Islamic values to suit modern social and technological dynamics and actualized through the application of moral, spiritual, and social values in educational practice. This process positions Islamic education not merely as knowledge transmission but as a means of forming insān kāmil—a complete human being who is civilized, knowledgeable, and able to balance modernity with spirituality. Thus, Islamic education serves as a transformative force in developing creative, adaptive, and competitive Muslim generations

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role and measure the influence of Mosque Digitalization on the Spirituality of Muslim Students in Indonesia. Mosque digitalization, utilizing social media, especially Instagram, has transformed the religious interaction of the younger generation. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design using a survey method. Data were collected from 100 Muslim student respondents across various universities using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results indicate that mosque digitalization has a positive and significant influence on the spirituality of Muslim students. Collectively, the majority of respondents (86%) reported benefits, especially in fostering discipline in worship (80% aided by digital tools) and expanding access to dakwah and information (84% rated as effective). Nevertheless, the impact of digitalization on intrinsic motivation for worship and physical participation in religious studies remains moderate, evident from the high percentage of indifferent respondents. The conclusion of this study is that Mosque Digitalization plays a positive and significant role in supporting and strengthening Muslim Student Spirituality.

Abstract

The simultaneous Pilkada in 2024 increased governance risks in grant fund management, requiring effective internal supervision to ensure transparency and accountability. This study analyzes strategies for strengthening the role of the Aparat Pengawasan Intern Pemerintah (APIP) within Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) in safeguarding the accountability of Pilkada grant funds. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis and analyzed using spiral data analysis and triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that the Inspectorate General of Bawaslu implemented structured and risk-based supervision through audits, reviews, evaluations, monitoring, and consultative assistance throughout the grant fund management cycle. Despite these efforts, supervisory effectiveness remains constrained by extensive coverage, regulatory complexity, and limitations in human resources. Strengthening APIP through capacity building, improved coordination, and refinement of supervisory mechanisms is therefore essential to enhance the accountability and sustainability of Pilkada grant fund management
