Abstract

Tapini has a strategic position in the yajña ceremony This feminist figure in the perspective of Hindu theology has been able to become a ceremonial leader even though it is customary to wait until the Pedanda dies. However, sometimes also in a Pakraman Village such as Sanur, the Pedanda of the one who has not died gives Pedanda his wife the opportunity to become the leader of the ceremony when she is overwhelmed to accept the wishes of Hindus so that she becomes the leader of the yajña ceremony . This shows that the current relationship in the position of leader of the ceremony is a serious challenge because a Tapini must also be an expert in the position of Goddess, as a teacher, and as an tukang banten.

Abstract

The myth of Ida Ratu Gede Mas Macaling Dalem Nusa still exists until now. The myth is so alive in the Balinese social environment that it is made to be identical with everything which is mysterious. Its existence is always connected with the practice of native healing and other growing and developing traditional spiritual practices. There are several palm-leaf manuscripts narrating the existence of Ida Ratu Gede Mas Macaling Dalem Nusa. The version narrated in one palm-leaf manuscript is different from that narrated in another. However, his existence is always connected with the existence of one small island named Nusa Penida, an island which is under his control. He is pictured as a “frightening” spirit and the myth and his existence have hypnotized the Balinese people; therefore, it is interesting to investigate the myth. The existence of the myth is described from the perspective of the mysticism of Bhairawa Tantra, which developed rapidly during its era in Bali.

Abstract

Light can be understood only if we know the darkness. Similarly, the truths can be fully comprehended only if you know the falsehoods also. Many western philosophers, like Mark Twain, said “Majority is always in the wrong.” To understand Vedic science one must therefore know: (a) The role played by the money power. The destiny of the entire earth is controlled by the money power. Without money none of us can survive. So, everything we do, do not do, and cannot do is motivated by our desire and security of money. (b) Yogic power, which is the highest level power, even above the money power, if you can acquire it. It controls the global destiny of the entire universe. (c) Modern science, which is the product of the global destiny, as well as the money power or the destiny of the earth.Once you understand destiny, you will of course not blame anybody, including global, earth, or individual destiny. We will show with examples that all results of modern science are based on  or derived from assumptions. Since assumptions cannot be valid for nature and engineering,  modern  science therefore cannot represent the nature, and be applicable to nature and engineering. For the same reason results of modern science can never be demonstrated. It must be realized that there is a heaven   and hell difference between modern science and modern engineering. Since engineering uses science, all of engineering is full of patches and kludges, and therefore engineering is very unreliable, and pollutes environment. On the other hand the Vedic science is entirely based on observations, just like what Galileo observed. Vedic science does not therefore has any assumptions, and it is a record of what you see as happening in nature. The Vedic science also has another very crucial difference – it observed two types of causes: (a) efficient cause and (b) material cause, behind every phenomenon. As a result Vedic science is valid for the entire universe and for all time, past, present, and future. We will illustrate all results of Vedic science with observations in nature. Such examples will be beyond comprehension of modern science.

Programs that still need to be improved include: reading Hinduism books are relatively lacking due to difficulties in obtaining books on Hinduism and making info-graphic from reading as an effort to facilitate the building of the meaning of Hinduism reading. As a conclusion, SLM Hinduism by Elementary Schools in Badung Regency, well implemented tends to be very good, reaching 3.6 for scale 4. The decrease occurred from the habituation stage (3.7), development (3.6), to the learning stage (3.5). This shows that SLM Hinduism implementation has not been optimally, especially at the learning stage. Implementation of habituation stage, ?the movement of reading 15 minutes of non-lesson books before the lesson?. Although this ceremony has been banned from the government’s regulations known as DPRD dated on 1951. However, in some village in Bali there are still exists. One of them is in Village of Sidan, Gianyar regency. In deeper meaning some people thought that ‘Patiwangi’ ceremony is related to gender inequality. Patiwangi ceremony can be explained through the married and ceremony process. Process Patiwangi marriage performed without making a proposal to the bride’s parents. This system called ‘Kawin Lari. The groom will arrange the place to meet the bride without parents’permission. From the bride's family, parents will then come to groom’s house to ascertain that their daughter actually married to the men according to the letter sent. After that the groom’s family will telling that their daughter will have the married ceremony based on a good day which is pointed by high prize in Bali called ‘Pinandita’. The proses Patiwangi ceremony will begin with ‘matur piuning’or asking permission to the God of the sun ‘Sanggah Surya’. The bride is praying in front of the temple (Sanggah Surya) while the groom is sitting on the chair waiting for her. After finish, the bride will stand up and the families of the groom will start pouring yellow rice, old Chinese money as a symbol of happiness and prosperity. The families also will throw red ‘Endong’ leafs as a symbol of purification and eliminate the evil spirit. The ceremony will end with spring of holy water to the bride by the prize (Pinandita).2).The Functions of Patiwangi ceremony, a). Purification, this can be seen from the ornaments of the Patiwangi ceremony such as; yellow rice, old Chinese money and the red ‘Endong’leafs as a symbol of the God of Brahma, which is purifying the bride from ‘Leteh, Cuntaka, and Evil Spirit. Hence, married within different kast in Bali without Patiwangi ceremony can cause unhappiness. b). Abstract

The birth process for Hindus is a sacred process and full of beauty. Special Hindu humans in Bali have gone through a very diverse ritual process since the womb. This research is a type of qualitative research that involves the socio-cultural values and expectations of Hindu Balinese people from the ceremony to mend the placenta. Information was collected from religious leaders, community leaders and Balinese Hindu couples who have babies. Descriptive analysis and content used to analyze the results of the data obtained. The results show the process of ceremony of placenta a hereditary process of inheritance carried out by Hindu communities in Bali. There is no significant change from this process in a socio-cultural way because it considers the things that are commonly done by the philosophical media used to change some modifications. The hope and purpose of mending the placenta is still done through a short prayer. Many Balinese Hindu couples don't know about the special mantram that is said during the process of humming. It is recommended that the process of mending the placenta be carried out in accordance with the ceremony in accordance with Hindu literature through the guidance and guidance of traditional stakeholders and Hindu religious leaders, without changing food and support.
