Abstract

The delivery process of laboratory usage information in the Information Systems Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Alauddin Makassar, has not yet been computerized. The frequent changes in practicum schedules or laboratory usage have caused confusion among students in finding the appropriate laboratory for their practical activities. Additionally, the lack of a definite schedule makes it challenging for both students and lecturers to find available laboratories. This research aims to design and develop an application for laboratory usage information in the Information Systems Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Alauddin Makassar. The application is expected to facilitate users in accessing information about laboratory availability and dynamically present the information according to their needs. After conducting user acceptance tests, where users were involved in providing questionnaires to evaluate the developed application, the results showed a usability percentage of 85% based on varying user perceptions. This indicates that the application performs excellently in providing services to its users.

Abstract

The research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of an Android-based educational game designed specifically for students of the Extraordinary School (SLB) in improving their mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy is an essential skill that supports an individual's ability to understand, analyze, and apply mathematical concepts in everyday life. However, SLB students often face the challenge of acquiring a sufficient understanding of mathematics due to various barriers in their learning. This research methodology covers the stages of development of educational games designed in accordance with the characteristics of SLB students and the principles of effective mathematical learning. After the game was developed, the study involved a group of SLB students in a field experiment using a quasi-experimental approach with the control group. During a certain period, students from the experimental group participated in learning sessions using educational games, while students from control groups received conventional mathematical learning. The results of this study are expected to provide insight into the extent to which this Android-based educational game is effective in improving the mathematical literacy of SLB students. Furthermore, the research also has the potential to provide valuable input for further development of similar educational games that can be used as an inclusive learning tool for students with special educational needs. Increased mathematical literacy among SLB students can provide long-term benefits in preparing them to face the demands of mathematics in their later lives

Abstract

Predicting timely graduation brings numerous benefits not only to students but also to the university LAZISMU is a national-level zakat institution dedicated to community empowerment through the productive use of zakat funds, waqf infaq and other charitable funds from individuals, institutions, companies and other agencies. Founded by PP. Muhammadiyah in 2002 was subsequently confirmed by the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia as a national amil zakat institution through Decree No. 457/21 November 2002. With the enactment of Law on Zakat number 23 of 2011, Government regulation number 14 of 2014, and Decree of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia number 333 of 2015. LAZISMU as a national amil zakat institution has been reconfirmed through the Decree of the Minister of Religion of the Republic Indonesia number 730 of 2016. This study attempts to explain the distribution strategy by mapping Zakat funds to Mustahik and how the decision-making analysis process is actually carried out by the amil zakat institution Lazismu Makassar. The success of zakat management is judged by the productivity and welfare of mustahik. So it is very important to present this study so that it can provide examples, lessons, and solutions to the problem of how to distribute zakat and become a role model. This study also looks at the comparison of mustahik and muzakki in each region so that the number of amil in that region can be determined. This research is qualitative in nature and relies on extracting non-participant observational data from each process. Keywords: Flow of System, K-Means, Input, Validitas, Output.

Abstract

This research implements a K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classifier to predict messages that recognized as ordinary messages, operator messages, spam messages, and debt collector messages. KNN is one of the classification algorithms that can be used to do a text classification, the prediction is made with consideration of distances between the object of observations. The data is messages that have been collected from SMS, whatsapp, and email therefore preprocessing using casefolding, stemming, tokenizing, and stopwords is necessary to do a modelling using KNN methods. The results of this research showed that the accuracy achieved from the training set was 93% and if we just focus on the messages that clasify as messages from debt collector then recall score from the testing set was 83%. This research is expected for further improvement and can be applied to recognizing messages from debt collector so that the victim can feel more comfortable.

Abstract

Monitoring drug supplies at the West Malangke Community Health Center is something that must be done because this drug monitoring function is carried out so that no drugs are missed starting from incoming drugs and outgoing drugs as well as monitoring the expiration of drugs. The process of inputting incoming and outgoing medicines still uses Microsoft Excel, which in the process takes longer because every time a medicine comes in, the officer will record it in the book according to the date of entry of the medicine with more than one type of medicine, then check them one by one, then input them into in Microsoft Excel. Therefore, a system is needed to make it easier for West Malangke Community Health Center pharmacy officers to monitor drug supplies. The monitoring system used is a Progressive Web Application which has responses such as a mobile app, responsive layout, has icons that can be added to the device's home screen, can send and receive notifications and can simplify the process of monitoring drug supplies in the recording process so that errors do not occur. and the need to pay attention to reporting between receiving and dispensing drugs can produce a good drug monitoring process. Based on research results, the drug supply monitoring system using the Progressive Web Application is very helpful for pharmacy staff in inputting incoming and outgoing drugs as well as helping to monitor drug expiration.

Abstract

Fast food ordering apps have become an important element in the digital transformation of the food industry. The success of a food ordering application is not only determined by its functionality and features, but also by its level of usability. Usability evaluation is a key aspect in understanding the extent to which an application meets user needs and expectations. In order to increase user satisfaction with application use, this research aims to test the usability of a fast food ordering application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) approach. One of the important elements in this research is filling out a questionnaire carried out by respondents regarding the level of usefulness of the food ordering application. The research results show that the level of usefulness is at a SUS score of 83.08 which is included in the "Excellent" category in terms of Adjective Rating.

Abstract

Waste management is one of the main challenges faced by society today in efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness and protect natural resources. Rapid population growth, lifestyle changes, and increased consumption have led to an increase in the volume of waste generated. Therefore, it is important to develop effective solutions for managing waste in order to achieve a clean and sustainable environment. Good waste management requires knowledge of waste classification, and with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the process of waste classification can be done effectively. Therefore, this study aims to classification of 10 types of inorganic waste, including (battery, biological, cardboard, clothes, glass, metal, paper, plastic, shoes, and trash), using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model designed with the ResNet-50 architecture. The training results of the ResNet-50 model with Adam optimizer and a learning rate of 0.00005 achieved an accuracy of 97.73%, indicating that it can effectively classify inorganic waste types.

Abstract

The era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, as it is today, is developing rapidly in the field of technology in various countries, including Indonesia itself. Nowadays, there is a lot of technological sophistication that supports the development of the information world. However, some teachers still rely on manual evaluation in the learning process. The lack of implementation of technological advances of course makes the assessment process inefficient. The method of automatic valuation is a solution that can be used to deal with the problem. By applying e-learning technology, the process of digitization will be faster. In this research, that is the main focus is the exam. Moodle as an e-Learning technology has many features that can be applied, one of which features automatic evaluation. With the implementation of automated assessment, the assessment process for mid-term and end-term exams becomes more efficient and effective. Automatic evaluations tend to provide more accurate and consistent results, eliminating the potential for human error in the evaluation process, so students get feedback faster after completing the quiz, which can help them understand and improve their understanding.

Abstract

Soil is an important element in plant growth and food production. Soil fertility is a key factor in determining agricultural potential. Today, AI and image processing technologies have presented new opportunities for more in-depth soil analysis. This study aims to develop a fertile soil classification system using the Convolutional Neural Networks method based on image analysis. This research began by collecting datasets in the form of images of soil samples of various types and conditions. This dataset is annotated and used as training data to train Convolutional Neural Networks models. This training process allows the model to identify visual features that differentiate fertile and infertile soils. This method is implemented in an AI system that is capable of detecting soil fertility through photographs. The results showed that the CNN model succeeded in classifying argosol (fertile) and lateritic (infertile) soils with high accuracy, reaching 99-100%. The developed system also allows the use of a webcam to detect soil fertility directly. The information displayed is accuracy information, webcam display, description of the name of the land, the percentage of trust, and the meaning of the related land.

Abstract

Proses penyusunan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) secara manual dapat memakan waktu dan membutuhkan usaha yang besar, terutama jika terdapat perubahan pada kurikulum atau kebijakan program studi. Salah satu alternatif solusi yang dapat digunakan adalah menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis SN DIKTI dan LAM INFOKOM. SN DIKTI (Sistem Nasional Perguruan Tinggi) adalah sistem yang dikembangkan oleh Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Indonesia untuk mengelola data dan informasi perguruan tinggi secara nasional. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif lapangan dengan menggunakan metode design and creation. Design and creation dikombinasikan dengan teknik peneĆ–itian dan metode pengembangan desain sistem informasi. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari dosen Program Studi Sistem Informasi. Kemudian data tersebut akan digunakan untuk mendesain dan membangun struktur sistem aplikasi, yang nantinya akan saling berelasi sehingga mampu dijadikan sebagai dasar dalam mendesain web yang dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian yang dapat diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Aplikasi yang dibuat sudah berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, yaitu admin dapat menginput data dosen dan data matakuliah serta presensi yang akan tersimpan di database, 2). Aplikasi yang dibuat sudah berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, yaitu dosen dapat menginput Rencana Pembelajaran Semester, mulai dari Capaian Pembelajaran, Sub Capaian Pembelajaran, Materi Perkuliahan, dan Presensi terhadap kehadiran mahasiswa. 3). Aplikasi perancangan penginputan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) ini mampu mengoptimalkan penginputan RPS di prodi, sehingga ketika data RPS dibutuhkan, maka cukup dengan mengakses sistem ini.
