Abstract

Evaluation of honorary teachers is an activity that is generally high school or vocational. It is useful to know the results of teaching honorary teachers to their students. Assessment, evaluation and rewarding can be done to spur the performance of the teachers in teaching and learning process so as to improve teacher achievement, the assessment is done to obtain the honorable teachers who will be appointed as permanent teachers. In determining the order of permanent appointment of teachers, it often appears subjective from the decision-makers, so that there are problems and this causes the difficulty in determining prospective teachers. To determine the recommendation of the teacher can still be used the method of Weight Aggregated Sum Production Assessment (WASPAS). WASPAS method can be used to process the honorarium of honor teachers with the criteria that have been determined.

Abstract

Readiness level measurement of users who uses a new technology is needed to determine the success of technology to get a recommendation for further technology development. Technology Readiness Index (TRI) is a method to measure the user readiness level to a new technology. The approach is carried out by using the TRI method more personally, where measurements are made using four variables, i.e. optimism (optimism), innovativeness (innovation), discomfort (inconvenience), and insecurity (insecurity). This method will be implemented to the Anapedia application. Anapedia is a new technology of open web-based encyclopedia for children that is still needs developing and testing. Data collection in this study was carried out using a questionnaire research instrument that distributed to students and teachers in an elementary school. From the measurement of the level of readiness of users taken from 108 respondents, it was found that the level of readiness of Anapedia users was at a high technology readiness with value of 3.63

Abstract

This study offers an attendance system that can be run with the Global Positioning System (GPS) feature to automatically check the location of the face owner. Recently, the YOLO algorithm is the world's most popular method of facial recognition. Currently the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm toolbox has been provided in various programming language platforms for use. The system we offer is also able to check the position or whereabouts of objects using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. The results of this test obtained an accuracy of 0.93435 and the lowest was within the range of 93%, while the average accuracy values were 93.26%. Of the 20 assessment data carried out by the Attendance Management System with Face Recognition and GPS Features using YOLO on the Android Platform. The evaluation of the accuracy of student attendance is expected to support the process of academic activities on campus. In addition, this product is expected to be able to assist management who require evaluation results as well as an effort to improve business processes in an agency in order to improve their performance. This research proves that the use of the tool library with the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm is the most popular method in the world of facial recognition and is proven to be tough and very good at this time.

Abstract

Hadith is used as the source of Islamic law othen than Qur’an, Ijma, Ijtihad and Qiyas, hadith is the second of Islamic law after the Qur’an. This study attempted to build a system than can classify shahih hadith of Bukhari in Indonesian Translation. This topic was chosen to help Muslims who want to understand from each hadith is in the form of informations, prohibitions or suggestion. Support Vector Machine was chosen because it can perform classification by providing good performance for dataset with a large number of features. Latent Semantic Indexing as a feature selection method was chosen because it can reduce features by eliminationg unimportant features (noise term). This study also using Bootstrap Aggregating (Bagging) method to improve accuracy of the classification system. The accuracy results show that by using Latent Semantic Indexing and Bootstrap Aggregating on Support Vector Machine classification single label system is 84% on polynomial kernel and 84.67% on RBF kernel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics that influence the intention to use Peer to peer lending fintech applications with the Perceived Characteristics of Innovation (PCI) model. This study was conducted on 203 respondents who used the peer to peer lending fintech application and 114 respondents who did not use the Peer to peer lending fintech application in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of innovation relative advantage, complexity, and observability can be determinants of people's intentions in using the Peer to peer lending application Fintech. Other characteristics of compatibility and trialability cannot be predictors of public interest in using peer to peer lending fintech services. There are other factors in people who do not use peer to peer lending fintech applications that most people are not interested in using applications. Some feel the application of peer to peer lending is against religion. Most of the other reasons are that they have never heard of the application and the public feels the complexity of using the peer to peer lending fintech application

Abstract

Activities suitable for planting with hydroponic systems in the midst of covid 19 pendemi are in great demand by utilizing limited land. One of the elements in suitable planting activities is water, because 70 percent of the molecules in plants are water. Water serves as the raw material of plants in the process of photosynthesis and can also keep plant moisture from withering. Currently the method of watering plants is still done manually by checking the condition of the soil, if the soil condition is dry then the new water pump is turned on for watering. But the method is considered less effective because it requires farmers to do regular checks and should not forget so that the soil does not dry so that the plants do not wither. To answer these problems in this study want to provide certainty how the plant gets enough water. One of the efforts that can be done is to make an automatic watering tool that without having to take time so as to give an efficient impact. The tool is made using Arduino Mega 2560 Components that serve as controllers in the watering system with the help of smartphones for remote control.

Abstract

Phobia is a condition in which a person experiences excessive fear of a particular object, giving rise to irrational fears that can threaten personal safety. Based on the data obtained from the Siak District Health Office in conducting immunizations at SDN 003 Benteng Hilir, out of 25 class 1 (one) elementary school students who were immunized, 18 of them suffered from needle phobia (Trypanophobia). Therefore, to overcome this problem, it is necessary to build an application as a medium for the therapy of needle phobia. The application that will be built in this study applies augmented reality technology as a mobile-based therapeutic medium. The approach used is systematic desentisiasi to the stage of flooding, where the medical team will guide patients in conducting therapy which begins with providing information about phobias through the application then directs the mobile to the marker bracelet that has been installed in the patient's hand so that the patient can interact with the syringe object directly. Based on the results of tests conducted in blackbox, it can be concluded that the application of trypanophobia can provide sufficiently clear information to patients and can help the medical team quickly control the patient's fear before injection

Abstract

Volume is one of important quantities that have been applied to fruit sorting based on size. Imaging method or computer vision is a simple non destructive method that has been proposed to measure fruits volume. This study was aimed to estimate the volumes of kiwi fruits using Computer Vision imaging method and compared to a water displacement method. The samples were 20 green kiwi fruits (Actinidia deliciosa). A smartphone camera was used to record the kiwifruit images and Python based program to drive the camera and process the images.  Images resulted in Computer Vision are two dimensions (2D) images. The 1/3 rd Simpson rule was employed to determine the volume of kiwi fruits based on the volume integration of a spinning object where surface image of kiwi was divided into 8 parts and then summed. The results show that the 2D imaging method assisted by the Simpson rule was successfully able to determine the kiwi fruit volumes with 4.57 % average difference percentage compared to the water displacement method. This was about 4.97 cm3 of average volume difference of 20 samples. The sample volumes measured using this method ranges from 82,48 cm3 - 126,85 cm3. These results will be one of steps toward the development of machine vision for fruit sorter based on volume

Abstract

The Rough Set (RS) method is part of machine learning that analyzes the uncertainty of the dataset used to determine the attributes of important objects (classification). The purpose of this study was to extract information from the rough set using the Rosetta application in predicting cases of students' level of understanding of the course. The attributes used are communication (F1), learning atmosphere (F2), learning media (F3), appearance (F4), and teaching methods (F5). Sources of data obtained from the output of the Journal of Physics: Conference Series, 1255 (1). https://doi.org/10.1088/1742-6596/1255/1/012005. The results of the application of the Rough Set method in determining the prediction of the level of student understanding of the course, produce new knowledge, namely learning outcomes based on the subject. There are 15 Reductions with 90 Generate Rules. But overall, the attributes that affect the level of student understanding of the subject are communication (F1) and learning media (F3)

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of Social Networking Sites (SNS), social media, recently, has become a lifestyle for many people around the world, including in Indonesia. The data in January 2018 showed that in Indonesia out of 132.7 million internet users, almost all (131 million), or up 23% from the data in 2017, were Facebook users with the dominance of 18-24 years old, 35% of whom were the highest active users. The rapid growth of Facebook users annually in Indonesia, especially in the age of students and college students, encourages researchers to conduct many empirical studies of Facebook use among students. There is a tendency for using Facebook continuously to create FAD effects (Facebook Addiction Disorder) among students and can affect the spirit of learning. This study also discusses what is the motivation for using Facebook and seeing the potential for FAD to occur. In this study, an online survey over 375 respondents from several students in Labuhanbatu District was conducted. To explore respondents' motives in using Facebook, respondents were given questions that were divided into the following five motives: social interaction, leisure time, entertainment, friends, and communication. While to look for potential addiction, respondents were given questions using the Bergen Facebook Addiction (BFAD) scale. In getting a connection between the motives for using Facebook and Facebook Addiction, the data was tested by analysis of variants (ANOVA) and partial tests using SPSS software. The results obtained were 65.8% of participants were at a moderate level, while 20.3% were at a low level, and only 13.9% of participants were at a high level. While the most significant motive affecting respondents in using Facebook is the motive to fill the time and motives for communicating.
