Abstract

Recently, the need for cellular telecommunication services in Indonesia being a very large number. The customer growth rate must be supported with the infrastructure development. PT. Telkomsel (one of the provider) has its own way of balancing customer needs with infrastructure development, namely building BTS or Base Transceiver Station. This solution has a negative impact, which affected the PT. Telkomsel loses revenue or loss profit if the BTS experiences damage or interference as a result of continuous use. To reduce this profit loss value, PT. Telkomsel carries out scheduled maintenance or maintenance activities on BTS devices. Based on these problems, the practical work carried out by the author aims to find out and understand the repair or repair procedures on computerized BTS devices at PT. Telkomsel, Karawang. The result of practical work activities is that it is known that the application of a computerized system at PT. Telekomunikasi Selular GraPaRi Karawang helps the process of repairing BTS devices in meeting information needs. To monitor damage to BTS equipment, it is done by means of an alarm monitoring system using the iManager u2000 software.

Abstract

The advancement of smartphone technology has an impact in the field of education, especially in application-based interactive learning media. Based on the results of interviews at the Paya Laba Public Elementary School (SDN), some of the students have difficulty in using interactive learning media based on applications, ranging from operating skills, equipment, habits, benefits and others. Thus, to measure the level of acceptance of the use of interactive learning applications for reading, writing and arithmetic skills at SDN Paya Laba culd conducted by using a theoretical method which described the level of technology acceptance, namely the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). However, the study aims to analyze the implementation of interactive learning reading, writing, arithmetic based on android applications. The test was run by measuring the influence between variables in the TAM model, which labelling as Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Attitude towards Using Technology, Behavioral Intention to Use and Actual Technology Use. The data in this study were obtained from questionnaires which filled out by the respondents. The data analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) by using the SmartPLS application. The stages of data analysis started from designing the structural model, designing the measurement model, evaluating the measurement model, evaluating the structural model, and testing the hypothesis. From the research results based on the seven proposed hypotheses, there are six hypotheses declared accepted and one hypothesis rejected.

Abstract

Laptop is kind of device which recently used by students, teachers, workers, professionals or executives. As the electronics tools, Laptop is supported by a battery and charger. To save battery life, laptop users usually disconnect the charger from the laptop while the indicator shows the battery is fully charged or when the laptop is turned off. However, due to practicality considerations, it often happens that the AC side of the charger is still connected to the voltage source. However, it was a waste condition. Because even though it's small, when the battery is full the charger still dissipates power. In this study, a device was designed and built which has the ability to disconnect the AC source from the charger when the DC charger side is not connected to the laptop. The watchdog algorithm is used to determine when the current should be cut off. The device is realized by using a Single Board Microcontroller (SBM) and a current sensor ACS712.

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the test of the water quality which good for consumption. It can be proved from temperature, turbidity level, and TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). By tempting the sensor, the turbidity and TDS meter controlled with the Arduino uno and the MCU node is forwarded to send data to the bylink application. The bylink application will help in monitoring water conditions by displaying the water condition which fit for consuming. The method used in this research was started with making a prototype then producing data to determine the feasibility of water through the TDS sensor, temperature sensor, and NTU (water clarity). This indicators were developed on an Android system whom the user could determine feasibility water easier.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between the intensity of light hitting the LDR to the resistance and the flame of the light. The research created an automatic lighting system, in which the lighting system was designed to turn on or off lights by light intensity. This research created automatic light controls using LDR light sensor. The LDR light sensor set is used as a switch that turns on or off a light automatically based on the recieved of intensity of light. By using the LDR components, it can design a series of light sensors for such items as outdoor light sensors, sleeping lights, garden lights, road lights that turn on at night and go out during the day automatically. The equipment used of the research were 2 test lamps, and done with 2 lighting sources, a natural source of lighting and an artificial source of lighting. From the research, it showed that the large light intensity affects the light flame by using LDR light sensor. It could be concluded that the greater of the light hitting intensity from the LDR surface was smaller than the value of the resistance and the flickering of the light. In contrast, the less light that affects the LDR, was the greater value of LDR resistance and lighter the light.

Abstract

The health protocol has being an obligation in line with the implementation of Face-to-Face Learning in the school environment. Currently, the medical procedures are carried out by using a thermogun which able to detect human body temperature. The use of a thermogun is carried out by detecting the body temperature of students or visitors who entered the school environment. The used of the MLX 90614 Sensor and NodeMCU with the support of android technology, the temperature detection process can be carried out remotely based on the Internet of things. After several experiments, it was found that if the distance is more than 5cm, the temperature will not appear and the buzzer will sound two times. If the distance was less than 5cm the buzzer sounds one time and temperature data is obtained. The results will appear on the android screen, showed the temperature conditions and its distance. When the temperature exceeds 37.50C, the buzzer will sound two times and display a warning sign on Android that indicates the data at high temperatures (hot). During the experiment, there were network problems in the RTO state, so the data did not appear. RTO is a condition where data is not sent because there are obstacles in the internet network. In this research, it can be concluded that remote temperature monitoring with IOT can be done and is recommended because it will protect officers from the covid virus attack. For further research, it is recommended to add a face detector so that those with an indication of fever will have their faces photographed.

Abstract

This paper reveals the voltage divider circuit to better understand the fundamental working principles in detail. The approach was simulated using popular offline simulators (i.e., Pr, CW circuit, and virtual mode, EWB, Mu, P, Ye, TS, QUCS, LTS, SI, and PhET). Two scenarios were carried out: measuring the output voltage (Vout) with known R1, R2, and DC source (Battery) as a voltage input (Vin), then looking for R1 and R2 using four different calculation methods to obtain Vout as expected. Afterward, the value of R1 and R2 were inserted into the simulation circuit to guarantee if the current Vout value matched the initial Vout. Finally, the simulation results were compared with the calculation results. All simulators provide an attractive GUI, capable of simulating voltage measurements with 100% accuracy in terms of DC analyses, which is DC voltage (except the CW software, which is only 98%), and can be entered in any resistor value (except Ye and PhET software). Surprisingly, the results of this study can provide insight for beginners to understand essential topics in electrical engineering studies, e.g., the circuit topology, fundamental theory, and working principle of a voltage divider circuit. Besides, the student will understand an offline electronic-based simulator suitable for measuring voltage parameters. Furthermore, they are expected to apply this circuit to various electronic circuit cases.

Abstract

Changing the Indonesian government's policy on the curriculum occured so quickly. The SMK curriculum is revised every year. Currently, Vocational Schools in Aceh province are already using the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum. However, in its implementation, minority of teachers received the training on socializing the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum. Thus, it becomes a problem for the aspect of teacher competence in understanding and implementing the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum. However, the purpose of this study, to find out the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 SMK curriculum in the learning process in Aceh province. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The research subjects involved 30 teachers on vocational subjects in the province of Aceh. The chosen instrument is a questionnaire. The results showed that 16.67% or as many as 5 respondents responded that the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum was partially implemented. Furthermore, a total of 23.33% or 7 respondents stated that the implementation of the curriculum was categorized as mostly implemented, and last, 60% or 18 respondents stated that the implementation curriculum is categorized of fully implemented. It can be concluded that the implementation of the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum in the implementation of learning in Aceh province is in the fully implemented category. This is indicated by the obtained mean value of 50.38 which located in the class interval score (>48.75) with the category fully implemented.

Abstract

Madrasah Ulumul Qur'an (MUQ) Pidie Regency is one of the educational institutions that has a tahfidz program. Recently, the recording of the memorization of the Qur'an for each student is carried out on one sheet of paper. The existence of information technology requires an educational institution to implement IT applications properly. This study aims to build a fine monitoring and evaluation system for tahfidz qur'an in terms of presenting data to the MUQ of Pidie Regency and parents. Data information on the proposed web and mobile application system is in the form of information data in kinds of tables, text, graphs and reports of rote achievement. The research method used research and development approach with an application development model (the waterfall). The applications used the concept of web services that connected between web and mobile applications. The results showed that the development of monitoring and evaluation system in the form of web and mobile applications for data management on the development of tahfidz by presenting data in the form of text, graphs and tables. This effectively provides monitoring and evaluation functions which easier, faster and more efficient. The results of the application effectiveness test showed that the average value of the percentage of 19 questions was 96%. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the average value is above 70%. Generally, this application is very helpful for parents in monitoring the development of their child's memorization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of feasibility of the website of the subject electropneumatic controlsystem. Based on early observation data, the Department of Industrial Automation Engineering does not yethave a learning website to support the electropneumatic system learning process. Thus, this study used a research and development (R and D) model with the Waterfall method. However, the subjects involved inthis study were class XI Industrial Automation Engineering Department. The data collection techniqueschosen were interviews and questionnaires with the media evaluation sheet instrument, material evaluationsheet, and user assessment sheet which presented on a Likert scale. The results showed that the websitesupported the learning of electropneumatic system subject had been tested in 8 meetings in the class XI ofIndustrial Automation Engineering. The results of this development research showed that the mediafeasibility test got an average of 75% in the "appropriate" category, the results of the material evaluation testreached an average of 49.7% in the "adequate" category and the assessments from teacher and studenttook an average of 55% with "decent" category. It can be concluded that the website developed iscategorized as "appropriate" to be applied as a learning support in the Department of Industrial AutomationEngineering, especially in the subject of electropneumatic systems. Based on the results, it can besuggested website development on other subject matter to support the success of the learning process.
