Abstract

Nur Rofiah is one of the female Muslim scholars in Indonesia who concerned in the field of interpretation and gender justice . Her interpretation critics method could be seen through her study in recent years. It is called Lingkar Ngaji KGI ( Islamic Gender Justice), offline or online . This study will focus on KGI Regular online that is thematically, especially on the Instagram account @ngaji_kgi. This study wants to know how the method used by Nur Rofiah in criticizing gender biased religious interpretations that have been developed massively. In her critics, Nur Rofiah classifies verses which talk about woman into three verse groups. They are starting point verse, intermediate target verse , and final destination verse. These three groups of verses need to be understood well, in order to determine whether the instructions are temporal or universal. Regardless from these three groups, there is basic principle since the beginning carried by the Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad as treatise carrier. The basic principle is awareness related woman humanity, which started moving from lowest point and will processing to highest point or ideal point.

Abstract

This research aims to examine more deeply about children, especially the characteristics of children in the Qur'an and the implications of its meaning in the context of parenting. Children are a gift as well as a trust that aresent by Allah to His servants who will be asked the responsibility in the afterlife. Parents responsibilities is to provide education to children from early age.Development in early childhood is largely determined by the environment and family. This study explains that the family is the first place where children get education. The character and personality of children are formed in the family. Parents actually must have concepts or provisions for educating their children which include moral or character education, science education, religious education, justice, and giving attention and affection to them. This study examines children's terms such as al walad , al ibn, al bint, dzurriyah, as Shobiyu, at thifluand al ghulamu. On the other hand, it also discusses the types of children's characters in the Qur'an and the implications of their meaning for parenting, therefore, this research will be possible to study in more detail.

Abstract

In the natural formation of universe , exists a number of theory from the west that says universe is made from big bang. However, not only theory from the west but in the Qur’an also has explained how the formation of the universe happened. Before we learn about the universe, we have to study astronomy. It is because naturalformation and astronomy are related each other. In the western theory, earth is located among many galaxies in the solar system. Earth is the most fertile plenet because on earth there are numerous living things. The aim of this study is to know natural formation of the universe according to western theory, Islamic religious teachings and astronomy. This study used library research method. Research finding shows that western theory has three theories natural formation of theuniverse, they are the Big Bang Theory, the Oscillating Theory and Steady-state. According to Astronomy there are three theories, they are Egocentric theory, Geocentric theory and Heliocentric theory. In Islamic religious teachings,the formation of earth occur During six phase /time with gradual creation .

Abstract

In general, the style of interpretation is conventionally classified into the periodization of the interpretation itself. Interpretation that appeared in the Middle Ages are identified with style of fiqh, kalam, philosophy, tasawuf. The interpretation that appeared in the modern-contemporary era often have the style of adabi ijtimai', ilmi, haraki, hidai. But in this paper, the style of interpretation is classified into traditional and modern-contemporary. This classification refers to the understanding of the style that developed in the history of Islamic thought. In general, Islamic thought is divided into two major streams, namely traditionalism and modernism. Both of these interpretations have their own paradigms. As in general scientific studies, intellectuals who study the Quran must use a paradigm when doing interpretation, because it is inherent in the theory of interpretation. It is used in the arranging the interpretation conciously or unconciouslys. The style of traditional interpretation can be seen in the three paradigms. The three paradigmatic theories are the technical paradigm, the accommodation paradigm, and the reductionist paradigm. Meanwhile, the modern-contemporary style of interpretation with functional paradigm theory, namely making the Qur'an as guidance or huda in all aspects of life and the literacy paradigm theory which makes the Qur'an the greatest book of literature. These two paradigms distinguish traditional and modern-contemporary interpretations.

Abstract

Guna penentuan shahihnya sebuah hadis maka diperlukan usaha penelitian keshahihan sanad hadis dan pemahaman matan hadis. Umumnya pada sanad diberlakukan penelitian persambungannya, kualitas pribadi periwayat, kualitas intelektual periwayat, keterhindaran dari pertentangan, dan keterhindaran dari illat atau cacat. Adapun tuntutan keshahihan dari segi matan meliputi pendekatan sejarah, pemahaman kontekstual, dan kajian kebahasaan. Seorang ulama kontenporer asal Mesir, Yusuf al-Qardhawi adalah ulama yang punya perhatian besar terhadap hadis, yang juga konsern pada kritik pemahaman hadis. Pemikiran yang cemerlang dengan ide-ide yang brilian, sangat produktif dalam menulis ratusan karyanya, memenuhi khazanah perpustakaan Islam dan dunia, dan tercatat sebagai anggota organisasi kenamaan Ikhwan al-Muslimin. Yusuf al-Qardhawi menekankan beberapa prinsip dalam pemahan hadis, yang harus tercakupi dari sebuah hadis antara lain komprehensif, seimbang, integral, realistis, dan adanya kemudahan, tampak kehati-hatian Yusuf al-Qardhawi dalam memahami suatu hadis yang bahkan telah dihukumi shahih. Dalam aflikasinya langkah-langkah yang ditawarkan Yusuf al-Qardhawi berupa memahami hadis atas petunjuk Al-Qur’an, menghimpun hadis setema, kompromi atau tarjih, memastikan latar belakang periwayatan, membedakan antara sarana yang berubah dan tujuan yang tetap, membedakan hakikat dan majaz, membedakan yang metafisik dan yang nyata, dan, memastikan makna setiap kata.
