Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve students’ learning outcomes in doing confirmation of customer’s decision through the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning with Cooperative Learning of Number Heads Together at State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2015/2016.  The subject of the research was the students of class XI Marketing 2 at State Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo. It consisted of 34 students. Data sources of the research were taken from teacher, students, and documents. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentations. In this study, data validity test is done by triangulation of sources. Data analysis techniques with comparative descriptive data analysis, quantitative and qualitative dataThe result of the research showed that there was significant learning outcomes improvement from pre-cycle to cycle I and continued to cycle II. This result showed that the percentage of students who can reach passing grade of the last learning outcomes was 64,70 % or 22 students. Contextual Teaching and Learning with Numbered Head Together was implemented in cycle I and the percentage of students’ learning outcomes improved. The percentage was 79,41% or 27 students. The improvement also happened in cycle II. The percentage of students’ learning outcomes became 85,29% or 29 students.

Abstract

This research aims to test the influences entrepreneurship-learning factor toward attitudes toward the behavior, subjective norms, dan perceived behavioral control on students; family-environment factor toward attitudes toward the behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on students; and attitudes toward the behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control toward the entrepreneurial interest on students. The population of this research is all XI-grade students in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta which the total is 189 students. The sample of this research is 100 students chosen by the technique simple random sampling based on lottery. The results of this research are there is a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurship learning and attitude toward, subjective norms, perceived behaviour control; there is a positive and significant influence between family environment and attitude toward the behavior; subjective norms, perceived behavior control; there is a positive and significant influence between attitude toward the behavior, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and the entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

The objective of research were to find out the effect of learning styles and learning interest simultaneously towards economic lesson achievement in XI grade in SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. The method used desciptive quantitative method . The sample were 62 students of XI grade in SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. The data collection techniques used questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of of learning styles and learning interest variables simultaneously towards economic lesson achievement in XI grade in SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. The magnitude of the effect of learning styles and learning interest toward economic lesson achievement simultaneously obtained from the calculation of the R- square of 49,9%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel lingkungan belajar di kelas terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan di SMK Bina Mandiri Indonesia tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMK Bina Mandiri Indonesia tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015 dengan sampel sebanyak 49 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner WIHIC (What Is Happening In This Class) versi Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner (angket).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh secara simultan antara variabel kerjasama siswa, keadilan guru, investigasi siswa, keterlibatan siswa, kekompakan siswa, orientasi tugas, dan dukungan guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan di SMK Bina Mandiri Indonesia Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Hasil ini dapat diketahui melalui hasil uji F diperoleh nilai probabilitas sebesar (0,001). (2) terdapat pengaruh secara parsial antara variabel kekompakan siswa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan di SMK Bina Mandiri Indonesia Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Hasil ini dapat diketahui melalui uji t variabel kekompakan siswa diperoleh nilai probabilitas sebesar (0,005).

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of promotion through social media towards interest in buying drinking water in packaging with aqua brand to economic education students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. (2) The influence of brand towards interest in buying drinking water in packaging with aqua brand to economic education students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. (3) The influence of promotion through social media and brand awareness towards interest in buying drinking water in packaging with aqua brand to economic education students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. Methods used in research is descriptive quantitative .The population of the research are students of economic education class year 2014 , 2015 , and 2016. The data collection technique used in this research is proportionate stratified random sampling, as many as 131 students. Data collection techniques used is the method survey by the analysis of multiple regression. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a significant positive influence between promotion through social media towards interest in buying drinking water in packaging with aqua brand to economic education students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. (Price t count> ttable or 2.081> 1.979 at 5% significance level). (2) There is a significant positive influence between brand awareness towards interest in buying drinking water in packaging with aqua brand to economic education students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. (Price t count> ttable or 4,832> 1,979 at significance level 5%).

Abstract

The objective of the research is to understand: (1) the influence of self efficacy and learning facilities on the students’ achievement in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo academic year of 2015/2016, (2) the influence of self efficacy on the students’ achievement in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo academic year of 2015/2016, (3) the influence of learning facilities on the students’ achievement in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo academic year of 2015/2016.This research was a causal associative research with quantitative approach. Population and sample of the research were students in class X and XI in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. The samples were chosen through proportional random sampling. Data were collected by means of questionnaire. Try Out was carried out within activities outside of the samples from class X and XI Marketing. Validity result of the questionnaire were valid with high reliability value. Technique of analyzing data used was multiple regression, t test and f test.Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that (1) there was some influence of self efficacy and learning facilities on the students’ achievement in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. This was shown by the value of fcalculated > ftable (12.111 > 3.070), (2) there was some influence of self efficacy on the students’ achievement in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. This was shown by the value of tcalculated > ttable (1.927 > 1.657) (3) there was some influence of learning facilities on the students’ achievement in the marketing department of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. This was shown by the value of tcalculated > ttable (4.129 > 1.657).

Abstract

The research aims to describe of planning, implementation, and evaluation problems that facting by the economic teachers on the implementation of integrated character education in economics learning at the SMA Negeri 2 Magelang. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with  a case study approach.Sampling technique used were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and analysis of data validity test document with data analysis techniques interactive analysis Miles & Huberman. Based on the research obtained conclusions that, planning by drafting character from of lesson, implementation is done by habituation, exemplary, and intervention of character values are internalized to the economics learning, cultivation of character values in the economics learning through the affective aspects evaluated in observation sheet with indicators of honest attitude, discipline, responsibility, caring, and hard work, constraints faced by economic teachers that teachers still find it difficult to incorporate the values of the characters according to instructional materials, conditions and interests of learners that are still lacking, teachers are still difficulties in using learning model matching the economy's material, and teachers are still difficulties in assessing the student's character.

Abstract

The objective of research were to find out the effect of family environment and industrial working practice experience towards entrepreneurship interest in XI grade. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative method with survey . The sample in this study were 151 students XII grade in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. The data collection techniques used  questionnaires.  The  data  were  analyzed  by  using  multiple  regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of family environment and industrial working practice experience  simultaneously  towards  entrepreneurship interest. The magnitude of the effect of family environment and industrial working practice experience towards entrepreneurship interest simultaneously obtained from the calculation of the R- square of 41,5%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the critical thinking ability and the learning achievement in Consumer-Based Decision Confirmation of the students in Grade X of Marketing Department of Vocational High School Batik 1 of Surakarta   in Academic Year 2014/2015 through the application of the Cooperative Learning Model of the TPS type. This research used the classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. The achievement of research shows that the cooperative learning model of the TPS type could improve the critical thinking ability and the learning achievement in the Consumer-Based Decision Confirmation subject matter of the students in Grade X of Marketing Department of Vocational High School Batik 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year as shown by the following: The critical thinking ability on the aspect of Focusing Problems increased as much as 29.03% (In Cycle I it was 64.52%, and in Cycle II it became 93.55%); the critical thinking ability on the aspect of Considering Sources or Theories increased as much as 32.26% (In Cycle I it was 58.06%, and in Cycle II it became 90.32%); the critical thinking ability on the aspect of Identifying Problems increased as much as 35.49% (In Cycle I it was 58.06%, and in Cycle II it  became  93.55%);  the  critical  thinking  ability  on  the  aspect  of  Giving Alternatives to Solve Problems increased as much as 32.25% (in Cycle I it was 54.84%, and in Cycle II it became 87.09%); the critical thinking ability on the aspect of Explaining Alternatives to Solve Problems increased as much as 32.26% (in Cycle I it was 51.61%, and in Cycle II it became 83.87%); and the critical thinking ability on  the  aspect  of  Drawing Conclusions  increased  as  much  as 22.58% ( in Cycle I it was 74.19%, and in Cycle II it became 96.77%). Furthermore, prior to the application of the cooperative learning model of the TPS type,  class  average  score  was  75.23  with  learning  completeness  of  47%. Following the treatment, the score average score became 77 with the learning completeness of 74.2% in Cycle I and 83.38 with the learning completeness of 90.32% in Cycle II. Thus, the application of the cooperative learning model of the TPS type could improve the critical thinking ability and the learning achievement in the Consumer-Based Decision Confirmation subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of social environment towards students’ consumption behavior. (2) The influence of lifestyle towards students’ consumption behavior. (3) the influence of social environment and lifestyle towards students’ consumption behavior of Economic Education Study Program Teacher Training and Education Faculty Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta.The research method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach.The sample used is 128 students of Economic Education Study program. Data analysis techniques used is multiple liniear regression analysis.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: There is significant influence between social environment and lifestyle towards students’ consumption behavior of Economic Education Study Program Teacher Training and Education Faculty Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. The value of coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) of 0.095, meaning 9,5% of student consumption behavior is influenced by social environment and lifestyle, while 90,5% is influenced by other factor.
