Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of peer conformity on consumptive behavior in students in the city of Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is descriptive verification method with ex post facto and survey approaches. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS of Senior High School in Bandar Lampung, which consisted of 17 schools. The sample in this study was taken by dividing 17 schools based on the ranking strata namely high, medium, low, based on the value of passing grade to enter the school, then selected three schools randomly to represent each rank. Then the researchers had a population of 414 people. The sampling technique in this study was Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, with a total sample of 165 students. The questionnaire used in this study uses a Likert scale, which is a measurement scale used to measure people's attitudes, opinions, and perceptions about social phenomena. The results showed the influence of peer conformity on consumptive behavior by 32.4%. Conformity is one factor a person becomes consumptive, the higher a person's conformity, the higher the consumptive behavior.

Abstract

Abstrak; Kemajuan teknologi merupakan salah satu ciri semakin pesatnya arus globalisasi dalam kehidupan di abad 21 saat ini. Seiring berkembangnya zaman diharapkan semakin berkualitas pula SDM agar mampu bersaing di tengah tantangan global. Fenomena yang nampak saat ini adalah semakin mudahnya akses teknologi dan komunikasi sehingga mempermudah setiap orang memenuhi kebutuhannya, sehingga hal tersebut memunculkan perilaku konsumtif di kalangan masyarakat khususnya di kalangan remaja era millenial. Survei The World Bank (2015) tentang literasi keuangan menunjukkan Indonesia masih berada di posisi yang tergolong rendah diantara negara tetangga, khususnya di tingkat usia remaja. Rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan di tingkat remaja menunjukkan bahwa masih kurangnya kesadaran generasi muda saat ini terhadap pengelolaan keuangan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada siswa SMA/SMK Negeri di Surakarta pada tahun 2018 diketahui bahwa banyak siswa yang sering berperilaku konsumtif dikarenakan pengaruh social media. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya penguatan nilai karakter melalui perilaku pengelolaan keuangan pada remaja di era digital.  Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan studi literatur dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara serta observasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa penanaman nilai karakter kemandirian dan tanggungjawab dapat dilakukan melalui perilaku pengelolaan keuangan yang baik pada remaja generasi millenial sebagai bentuk pengendalian diri untuk mewujudkan masa depan yang lebih baik.   Kata Kunci : Pendidikan karakter, Nilai karakter, Pengelolaan Keuangan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of relational support and educational support on the interest in entrepreneurship for undergraduate students of Sebelas Maret University. This research was a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 24,753 students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The sampling technique used in this study was proportionate stratified random sampling, producing a sample of 394 student respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed via the Google form link. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25. The results shown from this study were: First, relational support had a positive and significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship of undergraduate students of Sebelas Maret University. Second, educational support had a positive effect and significant on the interest in entrepreneurship for undergraduate students of Sebelas Maret University. Third, relational support and educational support simultaneously had a positive effect and significant on the interest in entrepreneurship of undergraduate students of Sebelas Maret University.

Abstract

The background of this research involves the obstacle faced by students after college graduation that drive their businesses into failure. This obstacle is capital which could be obtained during college with good financial management Therefore it is formulated how financial efficacy and academic ability influenced student financial management The goal of this study is to ascertain the effect of financial efficacy and academic ability on students’ financial management. This research used the quantitative method in which the data was collected through questionnaires with the total of 176 student respondents. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression analysis. After being processed, the data results in information that indicates that financial efficacy and academic ability do have a positive and significant effect on student financial management behavior. Academic ability was found to have a higher impact on financial management than financial efficacy. Therefore, to improve student financial management, it is necessary to improve their academic abilities alongside their financial efficacy.

Abstract

The success of students in participating in learning activities during lectures can be seen from their learning achievements. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic the implementation of learning experienced several problems. This study aims to determine the effect of time management and learning motivation on Economics Education students' learning achievement during a pandemic. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling, with a sample of 216 respondents. Data collection techniques using online questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) time management had a positive effect on Economic Education students' learning achievement during the pandemic, (2) learning motivation had a positive effect on Economics Education students' learning achievement during the pandemic, (3) time management and learning motivation had a positive effect simultaneously on the learning achievement of Economics Education students during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of adversity quotient and emotional intelligence in influencing economic achievement of high school students in Madiun City. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects studied were high school students in Madiun City who received economics subjects totaling 302 respondents. Data collection technique using purposive random sampling technique. Research data was taken using a questionnaire which was carried out offline by visiting schools. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results obtained are as follows. First, adversity quotient has a positive and significant effect on students' economic achievement. Second, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on students' economic achievement. Third, adversity quotient and emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on students' economics learning achievement by 50.2%..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara pendidikan kewirausahaan dengan minat berwirausaha dan mengetahui pengaruh antara literasi digital dengan minat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Univeristas Sebelas Maret. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kauntitatif dengan teknik analisis data regresi linear berganda. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi yang telah mendapatkan mata kuliah kewirausahan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 143 mahasiswa yang diambil dari mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa (1) pendidikan kewirausahan memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sebelas Maret, (2) literasi digital memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, (3) pendidikan kewirausahaan dan literasi digital memengaruhi minat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the influence of self-directed learning on the economics learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District (2) the influence of using the internet as a learning resource on the economics learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District (3) the influence of learning independent (self-directed learning) and the use of the internet as a learning resource together on the economic learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District. The sample used in this study was 333 samples taken using proportional random sampling technique. The sample in this study were students from SMA N 1 Boyolali, SMA N 2 Boyolali, and SMA N 3 Boyolali. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation of students' UTS scores. Test the validity of the instrument using product moment correlation and test reliability using Cronbach Alpha (a). The hypothesis was tested using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26 software. The results of the research prove that (1) there is a positive and significant influence between self-directed learning on the economic learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District (2) there is a positive and significant influence between the use of the internet as a learning resource on the economic learning achievement of high school students In Boyolali District (3) there is a positive and significant influence between self-directed learning and the use of the internet as a joint learning resource on the economic learning achievement of State High School students in Boyolali District.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of class climate, adversity intelligence, and parental support on student learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. The research method used was quantitative with a population of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a sample of 250. Data collection used documentation and questionnaires, and data analysis used multiple linear analysis. The results of this research show (1) there is an influence of classroom climate on students' learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta with a calculated t value > t table (4.529 > 1.968) and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. (2) there is an influence of adversity intelligence on students' learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta with a calculated t value > t table (6.889 > 1.968) and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. (3) there is an influence of parental support on students' learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta with a calculated t value > t table (3.921 > 1.968) and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. (4) there is an influence of class climate, adversity intelligence, and parental support on students' learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta based on the calculated F value > F table (98.210 > 1.968) and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine: 1) the influence of implementing the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) assisted by Powtoon media in improving students' learning outcomes; 2) the difference in the effectiveness of applying the TGT learning model assisted by Powtoon compared to the conventional teaching model in enhancing students' learning outcomes. This study employs a quantitative research approach with an experimental method. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. Hypothesis testing in this research involves independent sample t-tests and N-Gain tests. The results of this study indicate that: 1) there is a difference in learning outcomes between the control and experimental groups, as evidenced by the calculated t-value of 5.830 > the critical t-value of 1.994; 2) there is a difference in the effectiveness of applying the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament compared to the conventional teaching model, with N-Gain scores of 76.73% for the TGT learning model and 46.17% for the conventional learning model. The t-test on N-Gain scores indicates a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of TGT assisted by Powtoon is effective in improving students' learning outcomes compared to conventional teaching methods.
