Abstract

This research is aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes in Introduction to Business Economy  in class X Marketing 1 in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar through the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with picture media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects were 37 students of class X Marketing 1 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar. The source of data derived from students, teachers, and documents. The data collection techniques are observation, testing, documentation and interviews. The techniques for the validity of the data used triangulation of data sources. The data analysis used descriptive analysis technique, the technique of qualitative analysis and comparative description.The results showed that through the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with picture media can improve learning outcomes in Introduction to Business Economics (PEB) in class X Marketing 1 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the Academic Year 2015/2016. It was proved by an increasing in the first cycle and the second cycle. Before applied cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with picture media of the class average value was 73.27 with a percentage of 37.84% completeness. In the first cycle class average value increased to 80.97 with the percentage of 81.08% completeness and the second cycle class average value increased to 97.35 with the percentage of completeness 100%. The conclusions of this research is the application of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with picture media can improve learning outcomes in Introduction to Business Economics (PEB) in class X Marketing 1 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the year of 2015/2016.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning results of excellent service in Student of Class X PM SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. Trough the application of Course Review Horay method By Using Prezi Media expected can improve learning result.The research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycles, with each cycled planning, implementation measures, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class X Marketing of SMK Batik 1 Surakarta totaling 34 students. Source of data derived from students, teachers, and documents. The technique of data collection is by observation, tests, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used is descriptive analysis techniques, qualitative analysis techniques and comparative description. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded the application of Course Review Horay By Using Prezi Media can improve learning results Excellent Service grade X Marketing of SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. The increase occurred in the cycle I and cycle II. This is supported by research data that shows an increase in the assessment on the third realm of cognitive learning outcomes. Before application of Course Review Horay By Using Prezi Media grade average score is 74 with the percentage of completeness 41%. In the first cycle class average value increased to 80,35 with the percentage of completeness 76,47% and the second 80,59  cycle class average value increased to 80,35 with the percentage of completeness 85,29%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of quality systems on student satisfaction. 2) influence the quality of information on student satisfaction. 3) the effect of service quality on student satisfaction. 4) the effect of the benefits of user satisfaction in learning. This research is a survey. The study population is students of Economics Faculty of Education Teacher Training And Education Univerisitas March Surakarta. Samples were taken by proportional random sampling technique. The research data obtained by questionnaire. The validity of the data carried by the internal validity. Analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of structural equation models. The conclusion of this study were: 1) There is a significant effect on the quality of the system of student satisfaction. 2) There is a significant effect the quality of information on student satisfaction. 3) There is a significant effect of service quality on student satisfaction. 4) There is a significant influence of satisfaction on the benefits of learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of students of class X Marketing 2 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar on subjects Introduction to Business Economics academic year 2014/2015 through the application of the Mind Mapping method with the scientific approach. This type of research is a classroom action research. The subjects were students of class X Marketing 2 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year 2014/2015 totaling 36 learners. Source data comes from teachers and learners. Data collection techniques were used (a) observation, (b) interview, (c) documentation (d) test. Test the validity of the data used triangulation techniques and sources. Analysis of the data is used descriptive comparative statistical analysis. Research procedure includes the step (a) planning, (b) measures, (c) observation, (d) reflection.Based on the result of this research, in the first cycle learning outcomes of students has increased as much as 1.55 (average value 74.64 pre-cycle and average value of the first cycle 76.19) and the percentage of completeness increased 30.55% (percentage of pre-cycle 44.45% and 75% the first cycle). In the second cycle learning outcomes of students has increased as much as 1.32 (the average value of the first cycle of 76.19 and the average value of the second cycle 77.51) and the percentage of completeness increased 2.78% (the percentage of first cycle and cycle 75% II 77.78%). The conclusions of this research is the application of the Mind Mapping method with the scientific approach can improve the learning outcomes of students of Class X Marketing 2 SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar in the school year 2014/2015 on subjects Introduction to Business Economics.

Abstract

International investment is strategic step for country due to lack of capital and technology transfer and it is generally well known as Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Many policy makers and academics contend that FDI can have important positive effects on a host country’s development effort. This research examines the impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Economic Growth in the United States by multiple linear regression model and its estimation using ordinary least squares (OLS). This research classifies all the sectors to be 10 sectors. This research uses data for the period 2000 –2017 and suggests that not all forms of foreign investment seem to be beneficial to host economies. Some sectors provide positive correlation to economic growth and some provides negative effect. Nevertheless, it is significant yet, this is because there is different characteristic between developed and developing countries. Economic growth in the U.S is mostly driven by personal consumption.

Abstract

This activity aims to trace the use of accounting information systems. The training was held at Sharia Financial Services Cooperative (KJKS) Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) Ta'awun and BMT Barepan. Both BMTs are located in Klaten District of Central Java Province. The accounting information system was developed based on the regulations set forth in the Principles of Sharia Accounting Standards (PSAK No. 59) and Accounting Guidelines for Indonesian Sharia Banking (PAPSI) issued by Bank Indonesia. The evaluation to determine the impact of the implementation of the information system on performance was done after the training is conducted. Instruments to determine the success of information system implementation developed based on the research from DeLone & McLean (2004), by observing the quality of the system used and the information generated. Evaluation results show that based on the perceptions of BMT employees, the information system that had been trained to them, had impact on performance.

Abstract

The objectives of this research to test the influences (1) entrepreneurship-learning toward atittude toward entrepreneurship (2) entrepreneurship-learning toward subjective norm (3) entrepreneurship-learning toward perceived behavioral control (4) entrepreneur-characteristics toward atittude toward entrepreneurship (5) entrepreneur-characteristics toward subjective norm (6) entrepreneur-characteristics toward perceived behavioral control (7) subjective norm toward entrepreneurial interest (8) attitude toward entrepreneurship toward entrepreneurial interest (9) perceived behavioral control toward entrepreneurial interest.This research used quantitative descriptive method. The population of this research wereall XI-grade students in SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo which amounts to 356 students. The sample were selected 78 students through proportional random sampling. Data were collected by means of questionnaire. This research were used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).The results showed that: (1) There were a negative and not significant influence between entrepreneurship-learning and attitude toward entrepreneurship  (2) There were a positive and not significant influence between entrepreneurship-learning and subjective norm (3) There were a positive and not significant influence between entrepreneurship-learning and perceived behavioral control (4) There were a positive and significant influence between entrepreneur-characteristics and attitude toward entrepreneurship (5) There were a positive and significant influence between entrepreneur-characteristics and subjective norm (6) There were a positive and significant influence between entrepreneur-characteristics and perceived behavioral control (7) There were a positive and significant influence between attitude toward entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial interest (8) There were a positive and significant influence between  subjective norm and entrepreneurial interest (9) There were a positive and significant influence between  perceived behavioral control and entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to testt: (1) BOS funds influence to the learning outcomes of class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016, (2) the effect of school infrastructure on learning outcomes of class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016, (3) Effect of BOS funds and school infrastructure simultaneously to the learning outcomes of class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta.Population in this study were all students of class XI in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 and all the teachers that administer subjects in the eleventh grade. Sampling technique that used was proportional random sampling to determine the sample of students, and saturated sampling techniques to determine the sample of teachers. This research used descriptive quantitative approach. To obtain the data about BOS funds and school infrastructure Data was collected by using questionnaire technique (to obtain primary data) and structured interview techniques to obtain secondary data. Technique analysis dat a that used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this study are follows: (1) there is positive and significant correlation between the BOS and school infrastructure simultaneously on student learning outcomes. (2) there is a positive and significant influence between BOS and student learning outcomes, by t- test results are known that Ho rejected and Ha accepted. (3) there are significant positive and significant correlation between school infrastructure and student learning outcomes, Based on t-test  results  can  be  concluded  that  if  school  infrastructures  are good,  student  learning outcomes can be increased too.

Abstract

The objective of research were to find out the effect of learning facilities and learning motivation simultaneously towards economic lesson achievement in XI grade Social Sciences in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative method with survey. The sample in this study were 56 students’ XI grade Social Sciences in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. The data collection techniques used questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of learning facilities and learning  motivation simultaneously towards economic lessonachievement. The magnitude of the effect of learning facilities and learning motivation towards economic lesson achievement simultaneously obtained from the calculation of the R- square of 47,9%.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the improvement of the learning achievement in Economics subject matter of the students in Grade X IIS 1 of State Senior Secondary School 5 Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015 through the implementation of Group Investigation and Mind Mapping learning models. This research used the classroom action research and was conducted in collaboration among the Economics subject matter teacher and students of the school and the researcher. The result of research shows that the implementation of the Group Investigation and Mind Mapping learning models could improve the students’ learning achievement in Economics subject matter and learning completeness percentage. The students’ average score improved as much as 6.78 in Cycle I and 5.36 in Cycle II respectively; prior to the treatment, it was 72.45, and following the treatment, it became 79.23 in Cycle I and 84.59 in Cycle II respectively. In addition, the students’ learning completeness percentage improved as much as 16.31% in Cycle I and 19.36% in Cycle II; prior to the treatment it was 50.06%, and following the treatment, it became 74.19% in Cycle I and 93.55% in Cycle II respectively.
