Abstract

The existence of farmer’s institutions become important at agricultural development in a country. This institutions are necessary in order to improve the competitiveness of farmers in developing agribusiness system in Indonesia. Strong farmer institutions are increasingly necessary in the of globalization and free trade era. Farmer institutions are as a means of expanding the capacities of farmers toward self-relience. This paper describes two things, namely: (1) Urgency of the existenceof farmer institutions, and (2) strategy in the development of farmer’s institutions.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to study the factors that is considered by consumers in buying powder milk formula for infants in swalayan market in Yogyakarta City, and to study the dominant variables which considered by the powder milk formula for infants consumers swalayan market in Yogyakarta City. Consumer’s sample method that used in this research is judgement sampling, with distributing quisioner or interview. The researcher takes 100 samples of buyer, based on the size of sample for analysis factors at least four or five times of total research variable. Data analysis used is factors analyse method.

Abstract

The aim of this research are to analyse the proportion of food expendeture and consumption on the income of rice farmer household, to analyse energy and protein consumption of rice farmer household, and to analyse food security of rice farmer household in Klaten regency. This research used descriptive analysis method and executed survey technique. This research was done in Klaten Regency. Boto Village of Wonosari Subdistrict had chosen as research area purposively sampling. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data.

Abstract

Simple understanding of the strategy is a tool to achieve the goal, but in formulating a good strategy requires a mechanism that is not simple. This mechanism is not easy to do small and medium entrepreneurs. Competitive Profile Matrix is one alternative to overcome these business, because in the Competitive Profile Matrix is known in real comparison between products or services offered to consumers than competitors' products or services. While alternative strategies can formulate based on the value of weighted factor. Selection is done by QSPM chosen strategy.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the revenue, cost and income in carrot farm. It wants to know the efficiency of carrot farm in Karanganyar Regency. The method used in this research was analytical descriptive with survey in implementation. The location was selected purposively and it was selected by 5 district which producing carrot that is Jatiyoso, Tawangmangu, Ngargoyoso,Karangpandan and Jenawi. From those district selected village by random. Selection of sample from each village use method “Simple Random Sampling".

Abstract

The objective of the research is to identify the Nutrition Adequacy Rate in Probolinggo and the strategies to increase the quality of balanced nutrition. Aside of measuring the food intake, the quality of nutrition in the daily menu is also measured by observing the balance between food groups in the menu. This balancecan be observed from the contribution of each of the food groups in producing macro elements of nutrition. The information on the component of food being consumed is obtained through people’s “recall one-day consumption” interview approach.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the classification of agricultural commodities in Kalitidu Subdistrict, Bojonegoro Regency and formulate alternative development strategy of pre-eminent agricultural commodities in Kalitidu Subdistrict Bojonegoro Regency. The basic method used in this research is analytical descriptive method. Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data analysis methods used are (1) Klassen Typology analysis to determine the classification of agricultural commodities and (2) SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors and alternative strategies in the development of pre eminent agricultural commodities.
