In this study, as many as 62 red dragon fruit farmers certified as Good Agriculture Practices were selected as a whole or total sampling. The Likert scale is used to analyze the level of implementation of Good Agriculture Practices. Logistic Regression Analysis is used to see the factors that influence the level of implementation of Good Agriculture Practices. Efforts to increase the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices through rankings. The research results show that (1) the implementation of Good Agriculture Practices in red dragon fruit farming is sufficient; (2) factors that influence the implementation of Good Agriculture Practices are the variables of farming experience, perception of production quantity, and perception of selling price. Abstract

The increasing consumption of broiler chicken meat in society indicates a significant shift in consumption patterns. This highlights the importance of understanding the factors influencing consumer preferences for this product. The study aimed to analyze consumer preferences by identifying the most critical attributes of broiler chicken meat and the preferred attribute combinations in traditional markets of Magelang City. This research was conducted from December 2023 to January 2024 in conventional markets in Magelang City. The research location was chosen because Magelang City has five traditional markets, four of which sell broiler chicken meat, and the increasing broiler chicken production in the city in 2023. The study employed a survey method, with a non-probability sampling approach using accidental sampling, as determined through Lemeshow’s formula. This formula was used to determine a representative sample size based on the desired confidence level and margin of error. The study involved 400 respondents whose characteristics were analyzed based on gender, age, occupation, income, number of family members, and food expenditure. The collected data included both primary and secondary data. Primary data were gathered through interviews and offline questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from institutions such as BPS and relevant journals. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Conjoint analysis. The results of the study showed that (1) consumers prefer broiler chicken meat priced at Rp32,000 – Rp35,000, with white skin color, meat weighing >1.8 kg, fresh condition, and carcasses cut into eight pieces; (2) the relative order of importance most considered by consumers in buying broiler chicken meat is color, form, price, size, and carcass cut size.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the vertical market integration of cayenne pepper in Gorontalo Province. The sampling method is based on the availability of cayenne pepper price data over a period of 4 years (2017 to 2020). The type of data source in this study is secondary data, namely data on the price of cayenne pepper at the producer, wholesaler, and consumer levels. The analytical method used in this study is  quantitative. The quantitative method uses cointegration analysis and ECM (error correction model). The results show that the cayenne pepper market in Gorontalo Province has been integrated iboth i!in the short and long term between farmers and marketing institutions/ wholesalers, marketing institutions/ wholesalers and consumers, and between consumers and farmers. That is, if there is a change in the price of cayenne pepper at the consumer level, it will be transmitted to the level of marketing institutions/wholesalers. And if there is a change in the price of cayenne pepper at the wholesaler level, it will be transmitted to farmers. Then the market between consumers and farmers is integrated based on the model used.
