Abstract

Information system (IS) in Sebelas Maret University (UNS), especially for academic and student affairs is not integrated and it does not fully provide information for executives. Most of executive information or reports are provided in worksheet or paper-based reports. Ideally, the executive information should be served by an executive information system (EIS) that provide real-time information in order to support decision making for the executives. This study identify and design the executives information using the Wetherbe’s Approach with structured interviews based on Business System Planning (BSP). The stages in building the executives information are identification of user groups, identification of internal and external information which is needed by executives and management report, set information access matrix, arrange EIS conceptual framework, and initiate the EIS interface. The project result shows that there are 87 internal and 14 external information which needed by the executives. The executive information spreads in 52 internal and 8 external information in academic areas, and 35 internal and 6 external information in student affairs. The project also shows that only 15% and 17% of the internal information in academic and student affairs respectively which is supported by the existing information system in UNS. In the other hand, all of the external information can not be provided by the existing information systems in UNS.

Abstract

Emergency handling involves two main components, pre hospitals and hospital phase. One of the pre hospital phases is a mobilization (transportation) of patients to an emergency or intensive care unit (ICU) location. The mobilization system is usually begun with a selection of the nearest referral ICU location. This study developed an approach to select and generate a route to an ICU based on minimum travel time estimation. The travel time estimation considered the mileage, road conditions, and crowd of road. The route is generated by geographical information systems application and it is represented in a website which can be accessed by a cellular phone

Abstract

Abstract

PT Petrokimia Gresik is the most complete fertilizer producer in Indonesia and one of its production is ZK fertilizer. There are five measurable chemicals that correlate to form ZK fertilizer ie H2O, H2SO4, K2O, SO3 and Cl-. ZK fertilizer monitoring process has not been statistically done by PT Petrokimia Gresik, either univariat or multivariate. Since ZK fertilizer is composed of five chemicals that correlate each other, a multivariate control chart is used. RMCD is one of the robust parameter estimation methods for outlier data. The average vector and variance-covariance matrix derived from the RMCD method is used to calculate the statistics on the multivariate control chart. Therefore, the robust control chart is more sensitive to detecting a shift in production processes compared to the classical ones. The data used in Phase I is daily data per January 1 - April 30, 2017, while Phase II data used is daily data as of May 1 - July 15, 2017. The results of the control chart analysis in Phase I shows that the production process has not been controlled statistically analysis of cause-effect diagrams. Furthermore, the control chart limits in Phase I that have been stable after the repair are used for Phase II production data. The result of the control chart analysis in Phase II shows that the production process has shifted. This can be known by the number of points that out of control.
