Abstract

This research aims to analyze the meaning of fanaticism in Quran surah Ar-Rum verse 30-37 using semiotics study. With a qualitative descriptive approach, the data in the study was the result of a literature study on the meaning of “fanaticism” in the Quran from a variety of literature sources. The results of this study showed that “fanaticism” in Quran surah Ar-Rum verse 30-37 has signs: 1) to the condemnation of Allah, 2) when accepting a favor or mercy of both material and non material, it will be very pleased, 3) if A calamity was struck by a moment of God, 4) if it was overwritten by a calamity caused by his own actions, in a moment of despair, 5) boasted and too strong to hold the principles of his own group.Keywords: fanatism, semiotic, tafsir.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of company size and the reputation of the Public Accountant Office (KAP) on the cost of external auditors. The independent variables in this study were the company size and reputation of the KAP while the dependent variables in this study were the costs of external auditors. With a quantitative approach, hypotheses in the study were tested using linear regression analyses. Using the purposive sampling, 30 companies became samples in this study. Results of this study showed that the company size and reputation of KAP did not affect the costs of external auditors of the company.Keywords: firm size, auditor reputation, audit fee.

Abstract

AbstractAlong with the times, the work of translation is not just limited to books. But also penetrated the learning videos and film subtitles. This research focuses on two translation videos by English Language Education students at IAIN Surakarta. This is considered very important because it is hoped that the video can support English learning to be more easily understood with the presence of English as well as its meaning in Indonesian. This research is a qualitative descriptive study because the data taken comes from the phenomenon of translation of children's texts related to the quality of the translation. video I and video II have different translation qualities, although they are both translated by seventh semester English Language Education students. Video I found that the results of the translation were inaccurate, unacceptable and still difficult to understand so that further analysis was needed to improve the quality. For video II, the results of the translation are accurate, acceptable and easy to understand. It just needs a little improvement on the grammatical part.Keywords: Translation, English Education, video

Abstract

There are many service models with various types of programs to improve the quality of life for mental patients. Rehabilitation centers already exist in various Indonesian cities with their social workers trying to implement therapy programs for healing and improving the quality of life for ODGJ patients. Therefore, the researcher wants to analyze in more detail what service programs are provided by social workers in rehabilitation places which will later be used as a reference material for social workers, the general public, counselors, psychologists, and academics. The method used by researchers is to use a library research method or approach (library research) or literature study where the researcher collects library data, then reads and studies to find research material. Research result. The results showed that ODGJ rehabilitation services were vocational, recreational therapy, occupational therapy, and ruqyah therapy.Keywords:  quality of life; service improvement; patients with mental illness

Abstract

This research aims to find out the factors of online food purchasing decisions in young Muslims as a productive age group of internet users in Indonesia. This sample of research is a student of the Islamic Institute of Surakarta State. Then the study analyzed how halal awareness, curiosity, lifestyle, promotion, favorites, packaging, price and taste affect them in online purchases. The research method used is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative data. The source of this research data is obtained through the dissemination of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with scoring analysis methods by rating the answers of respondents and drawing statement conclusions from interview answers. The results of this study make halal awareness a priority factor in making online purchases in order of halal awareness priorities; lifestyle; taste; packaging; curiosity; favorites; price; advertising and the majority of IAIN Surakarta students some 642 respondents noticed aspects of product halalness in online food purchases.Keywords: Purchasing Decision Factors; Food; Online Purchase; Muslim Millennial

Abstract

The implementation of the home visit is one of the efforts made by the teachers in optimizing student learning activities in the middle of online online learning during the Covid -19 pandemic. This study aims to describe the application of the home visit method in increasing student motivation. This type of research approach used is a qualitative approach. The location of this research was carried out in MI Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Sindon 1. Data collection was carried out by interview. The result showed that:1) home visits were carried out at the encouragement of parents and the school officials. 2) Thr home visit program was very effective in implementing learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, even though teachers experienced problem with the infrastructure in the program.Keywords: Home Visit; Covid-19 Pandemic;  Learning

Abstract

This article aims to analyze women's views in interpreting the meaning of beauty through beauty advertising products on social media. In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach accompanied by Ronald Barthes's Semiotic method. The results of this study can be described into three, namely: 1) There are some beauty advertising products that show that the white woman is prettier than the skin that is not white. This is indirectly used as a standard of beauty by Women, 2) Women are said to be beautiful not because of their white skin, slender body, syug nose, or so on. But women are said to be beautiful when they have good personalities, positive thoughts, and psychic-spiritual dimensions, 3) There is a process of dynamics in the supermation representation of female body image. This research is important, because beauty advertising is indirectly used as a standard of beauty by women and its impact on body image, and it should be straightened out. Abstract

The quantity and quality of a person, including indicators of the value of Islamic education, is a significant development and becomes the basis for mental development in order to provide educational output in accordance with the expectations of the wider community. This is what shapes the personality of each individual with moral, ethical, and cultural values. On social media, researchers see creativity on YouTube channels with an entertaining genre. Therefore, the authors found the Polisi Motret channel with library research methods with entertaining genres but that do not abandon Islamic educational values. The main objective of the Polisi Motret channel research which is based on the value of Islamic education is to form the personality of the community so that it has ethical values that are in line with the principles of benefit and virtue in the form of the life principle of every Muslim who is faithful, pious, and has noble character in everyday life.Keywords: Value of Islam Education; YouTube Channel; Polisi Motret

Abstract

The Hajj and Umrah industry is one of the most growing and popular businesses in these years. Decree of the minister of religion of the Republic of Indonesia number 494 of 2020 concerning the cancellation of pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage in 2020 this decision is to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the risk management carried out by PT Amanu in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with primary and secondary data to study the situation and situation in the Covid-19 pandemic. Until now.This research is important to do to provide an overview to the public about the importance of risk management in the midst of a pandemic. The results of this research show that PT Amanu can survive the impact of the Haj and Umrah cancellation policy on the government by making various new breakthroughs and innovations.Keywords: government policy; covid 19 pandemic; risk management.
