Abstract

RESUME: Pembelajaran kewirausahaan di PT (Perguruan Tinggi) hendaknya menghasilkan lulusan yang siap untuk berwirausaha. Penelitian ini berupaya menyusun manajemen pembelajaran kewirausahan dengan menggunakan pendekatan konsep pembelajaran eksperiental. Model pembelajaran ini sebuah proses perubahan dengan menggunakan pengalaman sebagai media belajar. Dengan menggunakan metode campuran, kualitatif dan kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan pembelajaran eksperiental, dalam kaitannya dengan pendidikan kewirausahaan, kepada 130 mahasiswa FPEB UPI (Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Penddikan Indonesia) di Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa belajar eksperiental adalah suatu proses bagaimana pengetahuan diciptakan melalui perubahan dalam bentuk pengalaman. Pengetahuan juga dibentuk akibat adanya kombinasi antara pemahaman dan transformasi pengalaman. Pengalaman berperan penting dalam proses pembelajaran dan membedakannya dari teori pembelajaran lain, seperti teori pembelajaran kognitif atau behaviorisme. Manajemen pembelajaran kewirausahaan, dengan pendekatan pembelajaran eksperiental, mengkolaborasikan empat fase komponen dalam pembelajaran, yakni: PK (Pengalaman Kongkrit), OR (Observasi Reflektif), KA (Konseptualisasi Abstraksi), dan PA (Pengalaman Aktif), yang semuanya itu sangat berguna dalam menghasilkan manajemen pembelajaran kewirausahaan.KATA KUNCI: Manajemen Pembelajaran; Pendidikan Kewirausahaan; Pembelajaran Eksperiental; Perubahan; Pengalaman. ABSTRACT: “Entrepreneurship Learning Management through Experiential Learning Approach at the FPEB Indonesia University of Education”. Entrepreneurial learning at the Colleges should produce graduates who are ready for entrepreneurship. This study seeks to develop a learning management of entrepreneurship by using the concept of experiential learning approach. This learning model is a process of change by using the experience as a learning medium. By using mixed methods, namely qualitative and quantitative, this study examines the use of experiential learning, in relation to entrepreneurship education, to 130 students at the FPEB UPI (Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesia University of Education) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The results showed that experiential learning is a process of how knowledge is created through a change in the form of experience. Knowledge is also formed as a result of a combination of understanding and transforming the experiences. Experience plays an important role in the learning process and distinguish it from other learning theories, such as cognitive learning theory or behaviorism. Management of entrepreneurial learning, with the approach of experiential learning, has been collaborating four phases of component in learning, namely: CE (Concrete Experience), RO (Reflective Observation), AC (Abstract Conceptualization), and AE (Active Experimentation), all of which are very useful in generating the entrepreneurial learning management.KEY WORD: Learning Management; Entrepreneurship Education; Experiential Learning; Change; Experience.About the Author: Dr. B. Abstract

ABSTRACT: Efforts have been done by TEIs (Teacher Education Institutions) in Indonesia. UPI (Indonesia University of Education) in Bandung is having effort to reformulate its curriculum. The formula of redesign of professional education for teachers that was developed by UPI is a response to need for better teacher education. This study focused on philosophy of education in the implementation of curriculum in Study Program at UPI. In curriculum implementation, aspect of philosophy of teaching is very important in the educational institutions. It is applied in the teaching-learning situations, in the conduct of research, and in developing educational policies. Teaching philosophy of individual lecturer is based on the university and faculty’s vision and mission, concept, beliefs, and attitudes on teaching, and how they put these into the teaching-learning process. This has implications to classroom management, pedagogy, facilitating and evaluating learning, and curriculum development. This study presents some empirical base data from two faculties in UPI, namely FIP (Faculty of Educational Sciences) and FPTK (Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education). Instruments used were questioners, interview, focused group discussion, and documentation study. Result shows that the implementation of curriculum and individual teaching philosophies of lecturers are strongly influenced and inspired by institutional teaching philosophy and its vision and mission. KEY WORD: Curriculum Development; Teaching Philosophy; Teacher Education; Indonesia University of Education; Implementation of Curriculum. RESUME: “Pandangan tentang Falsafah Pembelajaran dalam Implementasi Kurikulum di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia”. Pembenahan LPTK (Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan) di Indonesia terus dilakukan. UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia), sebagai salah satu LPTK di Indonesia, tengah melakukan reformulasi pendidikan profesional guru, sebagai respon terhadap tuntutan kebutuhan guru yang lebih bermutu dan bermartabat. Studi ini memfokuskan pada kajian falsafah pembelajaran dalam  implementasi kurikulum  di UPI. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan sampel melibatkan unsur pimpinan  fakultas dan program studi. Dalam implementasi kurikulum, telaah filsafat pembelajaran menjadi isu penting dalam praktek di fakultas atau jurusan. Hal tersebut diimplementasikan dalam situasi belajar-mengajar, penelitian, ataupun dalam mengembangkan kebijakan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menyajikan beberapa data dasar empiris dari dua Fakultas di UPI, yaitu FIP (Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan) dan FPTK (Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan), yaitu  bagaimana falsafah pembelajaran yang dianut setiap individu dosen dipengaruhi pula oleh sistem nilai, visi dan misi  universitas, fakultas, dan program studi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, wawancara, FGD (Focused Group Discussion), dan studi dokumentasi. Abstract

RESUME: Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran dan perilaku hidup sehat terhadap pengetahuan kebersihan lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN (Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri) 78 Jakarta Barat, Indonesia, tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain faktorial 2 X 2. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Varian Dua Jalur dan analisis tes Tukey. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 80 orang siswa, yang diseleksi menggunakan “cluster-random sampling”. Variabel responden terdiri atas perilaku hidup sehat; dan pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes pengetahuan kebersihan lingkungan dalam domain kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, secara keseluruhan, siswa yang menerima pembelajaran bentuk “indoor” (didalam ruangan) menunjukan pengetahuan kebersihan lingkungan yang lebih tinggi, bila dibandingkan dengan mereka yang diberi pembelajaran dalam bentuk “outdoor” (di luar ruangan); kelompok siswa yang memiliki perilaku hidup sehat tinggi dan mereka menerima pembelajaran bentuk “outdoor”, memiliki pengetahuan kebersihan lingkungan lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan yang diberi pembelajaran bentuk “indoor”; kelompok siswa yang memiliki perilaku hidup sehat rendah dan mereka menerima pembelajaran bentuk “indoor”, memiliki pengetahuan kebersihan lingkungan yang lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan yang diberi pembelajaran bentuk “outdoor”; serta, pada akhirnya, terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan perilaku hidup sehat terhadap pengetahuan kebersihan lingkungan.  KATA KUNCI: Strategi Pembelajaran; Perilaku Hidup Sehat; Kebersihan Lingkungan; Belajar di Dalam dan di Luar Ruangan. ABSTRACT: “The Effect of Learning Strategies and Healthy Life Behaviour toward Knowledge of Environmental Hygiene”. This research aims to discover the influence of learning strategies and healthly life behavior toward the knowledge of environmental hygiene. The research was conducted at the SMAN (Public Senior High School) 78 West Jakarta, Indonesia, on academic year 2014/2015. The research method used was quasi experiment, with 2 X 2 factorial design. Data analysis techniques used Two Ways ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and Tukey test analysis. The sample study included 80 students, who were selected using a cluster-random sampling. Variable respondents are healthy behavior; and measurements were taken using a test of knowledge on environmental hygiene in the cognitive domain. Abstract

RESUME: Memahami simbol tradisi (aksara Bali), sebagai bagian dari budaya Bali, sangatlah penting, karena ketika pengetahuan budaya Bali semakin memudar, maka bayangan “kehancuran” budaya Bali semakin dekat. Masalahnya adalah adanya kesulitan “memindahkan” pengetahuan budaya Bali kepada generasi sekarang melalui sebuah media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konsep pemanfaatan keterlibatan dari simbol tradisi sebagai elemen proses komunikasi, melalui sebuah “video game”. Fungsi “video game” dalam konsep ini adalah sebagai media kreatif yang mampu memberikan stimulus dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan minat siswa SD (Sekolah Dasar) dalam mempelajari budaya Bali. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan wacana dalam eksperimen penelitian ini diperoleh karakteristik sebuah konsep “video game” yang mampu memberikan motivasi secara implisit kepada anak-anak dalam proses menikmati media komunikasi visual. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dinyatakan bahwa dengan terwujudnya sebuah konsep, logika narasi, dan strategi visual sebuah “video game” yang mampu mengubah jalan pikiran anak-anak, mengakibatkan terjadinya respon dari stimulus yang dihasilkan pada visualisasi konsep “video game”. Adapun tolok ukur keberhasilan dari konsep yang divisualisasikan kedalam “video game” tersebut, yakni terbukti anak-anak berupaya untuk berinteraksi langsung dengan para pelaku budaya yang sebenarnya, setelah mereka menikmati situasi dan kondisi berinteraksi dalam beberapa waktu dengan “video game” yang diberi judul “Belajar Budaya Bali”.KATA KUNCI: Simbol Tradisi; Video Game; Stimulus; Anak-anak; Budaya Bali. ABSTRACT: “The Involvement of Tradition Symbol as Stimulus for Children in the Process of Learning Balinese Culture”. Understanding symbol of tradition (Balinese script) as part of Balinese culture is very important, because when knowledge of Balinese culture faded, then shadow of “destruction” of Balinese culture is getting closer. The problem is difficulty of “transferring” knowledge of Balinese culture to the current generation through a medium. This research aims to find the concept of utilization of the involvement of tradition symbol as element of communication process, through a video game. The function of video game, in this concept, is a creative medium that is capable of providing the stimulus in an effort to increase the interest of Elementary School students to learn the Balinese culture. Through qualitative research method with discourse approach in experiment of this research, obtained the characteristics of a video game concept that could motivate children implicitly in the process of enjoying the visual communication media. From the result of this research, it can be stated that with the realization of a concept, the logic narration, and visual strategy of a video game that is able to change the state of mind of children, resulted in a response from the stimulus which is generated on the visualization of video games concept. The benchmark of success of the concept, which is visualized into a video game, is that children attempted to interact directly with the real cultural actors, after they enjoy situation and condition interact in some time with a video game entitled “Learning Balinese Culture”. KEY WORD: Symbol of Tradition; Video Game; Stimulus; Children; Balinese Culture.  About the Authors: I Nyoman Larry Julianto adalah Dosen di Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual ISI (Institut Seni Indonesia), Jalan Nusa Indah, Denpasar 80235, Bali, Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRACT: Physical education teaching and learning should be holistic, accommodating the physical, spiritual, and social aspects. Education through physical activities is expected to provide students with real learning experience. The aim of this research is to analyze the influences of problem-based learning on soccer skills, which are expected to contribute positively to the meeting of the objectives of Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia. The research adopted experimental method with non-equivalent group pre-test post-test design. It was conducted at the SMPN (Public Junior High School) 2 Rangkasbitung, Lebak, Banten, Indonesia, with the sample consisted of 60 students, in which 30 students for the experimental and control groups, respectively. The research was carried out for seven weeks, with each week consisting of two meetings. GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument) was used as the instrument to measure soccer skills. Data were analyzed with t-test, aided by SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 18. The findings of this research are: with problem-based learning model, students’ soccer skills increased significantly, as reflected from their post-test scores which were greater than their pre-test scores; with direct instructional model, students’ soccer skills increased significantly, as indicated by the increase in their post-test scores compared to their pre-test scores; and problem-based learning model influenced students’ soccer skills more significantly than direct instructional model.KEY WORD: Problem-Based Learning Model; Soccer Skills; Curriculum 2013; Direct Instructional Model; Scientific Approach. RESUME: “Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran melalui Pendekatan Saintifik terhadap Keterampilan Bermain Sepakbola”. Pengajaran dan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani harus holistik, menampung aspek fisik, spiritual, dan sosial. Pendidikan melalui gerak fisik diharapkan dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar nyata kepada siswa. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan bermain sepak bola, yang diharapkan memberikan manfaat positif terhadap pencapaian tujuan Kurikulum 2013 di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan permasalahan tersebut adalah menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan desain “non-equivalent groups pre-test post-test” atau kelompok tidak setara dengan pra dan pasca tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN (Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri) 2 Rangkasbitung, Lebak, Banten, Indonesia, dengan mengambil sampel pada penelitian ini, yaitu 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 30 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan selama 7 minggu, dengan 2 kali pertemuan setiap minggunya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument atau Instrumen Penilaian Unjuk Permainan) untuk mengukur keterampilan bermain sepak bola. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t, melalui SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) versi 18. Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study investigated perceived relationships between study habits, test anxiety, and learning outcome among students with special needs at the Federal College of Education (Special) in Oyo, Nigeria. The study used correlational research design, which is ex-post facto in nature. Random sampling technique was used to select 264 participants for the study. Two validated and reliable instruments were adopted for data collection, namely TAI (Test Attitude Inventory) with r = .85 and SHC (Study Habits Checklist) with r = .61 were adopted to collect data for the study. Four hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 significance level. Findings revealed that study habits and learning outcome of students with special needs are positively and significantly related (r = .380; df = 262; P < .05); while negative but significant relationship was found between test anxiety and learning outcome (r = -.480; df = 262; P < .05). Also, there were significant differences in study habits (t = 2.4201; df = 262; P < .05) and test anxiety (t = 1.860; df = 262; P < .05) between male and female (t = 2.4201; df = 262; P < .05). It was, therefore, recommended among others that study skills training should be incorporated into the school curriculum of the Nigeria’s National Certificate in Education Programme. Also that students with special needs be encouraged and motivated to inculcate good study habits in their programme.  KEYS WORD: Study Habits; Test Anxiety; Students with Special Needs; Learning Performance; College of Education Special. RESUME: “Kebiasaan Belajar, Uji Kecemasan, dan Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Berkebutuhan Khusus”. Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan yang dirasakan antara kebiasaan belajar, uji kecemasan, dan hasil belajar mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus di Sekolah Tinggi Pendidikan Khusus di Negara Bagian Oyo, Nigeria. Kajian menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional, yang merupakan “ex-post facto” secara alamiah. Teknik sampel acak digunakan untuk memilih 264 peserta dalam penelitian ini. Dua instrumen divalidasi dan dapat diandalkan, yakni ITS (Inventori Test Sikap) dengan r = 0.85 dan PKB (Pengecekan Kebiasaan Belajar) dengan r = 0.61, yang diadopsi untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Empat hipotesis dirumuskan dan diuji dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.05. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kebiasaan belajar dan hasil belajar mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan (r = 0.380; df = 262; P < 0.05); sementara hubungan negatif tetapi signifikan ditemukan antara uji kecemasan dan hasil belajar (r = -.480; df = 262; P < 0,05). Juga ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kebiasaan belajar (t = 2.4201; df = 262; P < 0.05) dan uji kecemasan (t = 1.860; df = 262; P < 0.05) antara laki-laki dan perempuan (t = 2.4201; df = 262; P < 0.05). Oleh karena itu dianjurkan, antara lain, latihan keterampilan belajar harus dimasukkan kedalam kurikulum sekolah dalam Program Pendidikan Bersertifikat Nasional di Nigeria. Abstract

RESUME: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kegelisahan peneliti terhadap maraknya pandangan-pandangan keagamaan yang kontroversial di kalangan para aktivis mahasiswa Islam. Dengan metode kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif-analitik, hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya hubungan asosiatif antara corak berpikir keagamaan dengan jenis kelamin, program studi, organisasi keagamaan intra kampus, dan ormas (organisasi kemasyarakatan) keagamaan orang tua responden. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya corak berpikir keagamaan mahasiswa aktivis Islam di PTUN (Perguruan Tinggi Umum Negeri) seluruh Indonesia yang cenderung “eksklusif” dan “inklusif”, serta sisanya “tidak jelas corak berpikir” mereka. Corak berpikir keagamaan para aktivis Islam di PTUN cenderung didominasi oleh hasil pembinaan di dalam kampus, bukan dari luar kampus. Dalam tema-tema tertentu, di antara mereka, ada yang memiliki corak berpikir keagamaan yang “inklusif”, bahkan “liberal” dalam tingkatan “ekstrim”. Unsur-unsur eksklusivitas dan inklusivitas pada corak berpikir mereka, tampaknya, lebih merupakan efek langsung dari hasil perkuliahan PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam). Karenanya, pembinaan keagamaan bagi mahasiswa PTUN, melalui perkuliahan PAI, perlu dievaluasi dan ditata kembali. Perkuliahan PAI harus dibina oleh para dosen yang memiliki komitmen dakwah dan kompetensi yang baik, seperti kompetensi personal, profesional, sosial, pedagogis, dan profetik. KATA KUNCI: Corak Berpikir Keagamaan; Mahasiswa Aktivis Islam; Perguruan Tinggi Umum Negeri; Eksklusif dan Inklusif; Pendidikan Agama Islam. ABSTRACT: “The Pattern of Religious Thinking of Islamic Students’ Activists at the Public Higher Education Institutions in Indonesia: From Exclusive to Liberal”. This study was motivated by the anxiety researcher on the rise of religious views controversial among Islamic student activists. With quantitative methods that are descriptive-analytic, the results showed the associative relationship between the pattern of religious thought with the gender, study program, intra-campus religious organizations, and religious community organizations of respondents parents. The study also found a pattern of religious thinking of Islamic student activists at the PTUN (Public Higher Education Institutions) in Indonesia are likely to be "exclusive" and "inclusive", and the rest is "no clear pattern of thinking". The patterns of religious thinking tend to be dominated by the result of guidance process in campus, not from outside of campus. In certain themes, among them, there are who have a pattern of religious thought "inclusive", even "liberal" in the level of "extreme". The elements of exclusivity and inclusivity of the mode of thinking, it seems, is more of a direct effect on the results of PAI (Islamic Education) lecturing. Therefore, religious guidance for students at the PTUN, through PAI lecturing, need to be evaluated and reorganized. SOSIOHUMANIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Sains Sosial dan Kemanusiaan. This journal, with print ISSN 1979-0112, was firstly published on May 20, 2008 in the context to commemorate One Millenium of National Awakening Day in Indonesian. The SOSIOHUMANIKA journal is published twice a year i.e. every May and November. For period 2013 to 2018, the SOSIOHUMANIKA journal has been accredited by Ditjendikti Kemdikbud RI (Directorate-General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia). Abstract

RESUME: Sejarah merupakan proses yang berkesinambungan dengan seluruh dinamikanya, yang memperlihatkan hubungan kausalitas antara satu peristiwa dengan peristiwa yang lainnya. Peristiwa demi peristiwa telah membentuk sebuah struktur dalam sejarah yang ajeg dan tetap. Dalam konteks ini, Kabupaten Purwakarta pernah memiliki status rangkap ketika menjadi ibukota Kabupaten Karawang, yakni sebagai “Distrik, Onderdistrik, Afdeeling, dan Kontrole Afdeeling”. Perkembangan demografi, pembangunan infrastruktur, dan perubahan wilayah administratif menjadikan wilayah Purwakarta sangat dinamis, yang ditandai dengan berdirinya Kabupaten Purwakarta secara mandiri. Artikel ini mengkaji tentang sejarah Kota Purwakarta, dari sejak awal berdiri pada zaman kolonial Belanda (1816-1942), zaman pendudukan tentara Jepang (1942-1945), zaman revolusi Indonesia (1945-1950), hingga perkembangannya terkini. Dengan menggunakan metode historis, yang terdiri atas heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi, artikel ini menunjukan bahwa Purwakarta dibangun dengan pola kota tradisional, yang ditandai dengan berdirinya Pendopo dan Masjid Agung. Untuk keperluan air, dibangun Situ Buleud, yang ditengahnya didirikan “babancong”, yakni sebuah bangunan mirip gazebo. Di samping itu, terdapat juga “Bumi Ageung”, yang menjadi tempat tinggal keluarga Bupati pada saat Pendopo dibangun. Saat ini, tinggalan sejarah tersebut menjadi kebanggaan masyarakat, sekaligus sebagai pusat pemerintahan Kabupaten Purwakarta.KATA KUNCI: Ibukota Kabupaten Karawang; Kabupaten Purwakarta; Pola Kota Tradisional; Perubahan Sosial; Peninggalan Sejarah. ABSTRACT: “Purwakarta: From the Capital City of Karawang Regency Becomes Regency Independently”. History is a continuous process with all its dynamics, showing a causal relationship between an event with other events. The events have formed a structure in the history of a steady and fixed. In this context, Purwakarta Regency has had double status as the capital city of Karawang Regency, namely “District, Onderdistrict, Afdeeling, and Kontrole Afdeeling”. The developments of demography and infrastructure, and also changes of administrative region make this Purwakarta region highly dynamic. It is signed by the establishment of Purwakarta Regency independently. This article examines the history of the city of Purwakarta, from the beginning up to the Dutch colonial era (1816-1942), the time of Japanese occupation (1942-1945), the time of the Indonesian revolution (1945-1950), up to the latest development. By using the historical method, which consists of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography, this article shows that Purwakarta was built by traditional city pattern, signed by the establishment of “Pendopo” (Regent Palace) and Grand Mosque. Water requirements fulfilled by the establishment of “Situ Buleud” (Oval Lake), where in the middle of it was built “babancong”, a building like gazebo. Near to “Situ Buleud”, there is “Bumi Ageung” (Big House), where the Regent family live when the time of “Pendopo” was being built.
