Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Growol merupakan makanan tradisional khas Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta yang terbuat dari singkong melalui proses fermentasi. Proses fermentasi ini melibatkan Bakteri Asam Laktat (BAL), khususnya Lactobacillus casei subsp. rhamnosus TGR2. Sifat sinbiotik pada growol menjadikannya pangan fungsional yang berpotensi memperbaiki profil lipid dan glukosa darah. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian growol terhadap kadar glukosa darah dan profil lipid pada hewan model sindrom metabolik.Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium pada 36 ekor tikus Wistar yang dibagi menjadi enam kelompok: dua kelompok kontrol dan empat kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok kontrol terdiri atas kontrol negatif yang diberi diet standar, dan kontrol positif yang diberi diet diet tinggi lemak dan fruktosa (DTLF). Kelompok perlakuan diberi DTLF selama 4 minggu, kemudian 4 minggu berikutnya diberikan intervensi pakan Growol dengan komposisi 25% (P1), 50% (P2), 75% (P3), dan 100% (P4).Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat penurunan kadar kolesterol total, LDL, trigliserida, glukosa serta peningkatan HDL secara signifikan pada kelompok perlakuan yang diberi growol (P1-P4) (p<0,05). Sedangkan kelompok kontrol negatif maupun positif mengalami peningkatan glukosa, kolesterol total, LDL, trigliserida, serta penurunan HDL secara signifikan (p<0.05). Kesimpulan: Diet berbasis growol secara signifikan memperbaiki profil lipid dan kadar glukosa pada model tikus sindrom metabolik. Temuan ini menyoroti potensi growol sebagai makanan fungsional dengan sifat sinbiotik untuk mengelola sindrom metabolik.KATA KUNCI: growol; kadar glukosa; profil lipid; sindrom metabolik; tikus ABSTRACTBackground: Growol is a traditional food from Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, made from cassava through fermentation. The synbiotic properties of “growol” make it a functional food with the potential to improve lipid profile and blood glucose levels.Objectives: This study aims to assess the impact of “growol” administration on blood glucose levels and lipid profiles in an animal model of metabolic syndrome.Methods: The study was conducted in a laboratory with 36 Wistar rats, which were divided into six groups: two control groups and four treatment groups. The control groups included a negative control group fed a standard diet and a positive control group given a high-fat and fructose diet (DTLF). The treatment groups received the DTLF for 4 weeks, followed by 4 weeks of intervention with Growol diets containing 25% growol (P1), 50% growol (P2), 75% growol (P3), and 100% growol (P4).Results: The findings indicated a significant decrease in total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose levels, along with an increase in HDL, in the treatment groups receiving growol (P1-P4) (p<0.05). In contrast, the negative and positive control groups exhibited significant increases in glucose, total cholesterol, LDL, and triglycerides, along with a decrease in HDL (p<0.05).Conclusions: A growol-based diet significantly improves lipid profiles and glucose levels in a rat model of metabolic syndrome. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Diperkirakan sebanyak 1 miliar penduduk dewasa atau 12% populasi dunia mengalami obesitas pada tahun 2025. Obesitas di Indonesia juga mengalami peningkatan yang pesat khususnya pada kelompok dewasa dan pekerja. Penyebab utama obesitas pada pekerja salah satunya karena kualitas diet yang rendah dan asupan energi berlebih sehingga menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan energi. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas diet dengan timbulnya obesitas pada pekerja perusahaan di Kalimantan Timur.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan responden yaitu pekerja obesitas. Secara keseluruhan, 25 orang responden yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok focus group discussion (FGD) untuk dilakukan wawancara semi terstruktur. Penetapan responden dilakukan secara purposive berdasarkan unit kerja. Pengumpulan data menggunakan perekam audio dan pencatatan. Data demografi dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner, FGD menggunakan instrumen berupa panduan yang berisi daftar pertanyaan mencakup pengetahuan tentang pola makan sehat dan obesitas, kualitas diet, kontrol diri dalam pemilihan makanan dan pengaruh lingkungan di tempat kerja. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi, sintesis tematik dan triangulasi untuk validasi.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kualitas diet dan obesitas pada pekerja, yaitu : kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pola makan sehat, kualitas diet yang rendah, kurangnya kontrol diri dalam pemilihan makanan, dan pengaruh lingkungan makan serta media sosial di tempat kerja.Kesimpulan: Studi ini menyediakan informasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas diet dengan terjadinya obesitas pada pekerja. Obesity in Indonesia is also increasing rapidly, especially among adults and workers. One of the main causes of obesity in workers is low dietary quality and excessive energy intake.Objectives: The aim of this research is to explore the factors affecting diet quality and obesity in company workers in East Kalimantan.Methods: This study uses a qualitative design conducted in an industrial company in East Kalimantan. The respondents are workers with obesity. Overall, 5 semi-structured focus groups discussion (FGD) were conducted with a total of 25 respondents who were determined purposively according to work units. Respondents' demographic data were collected through a short questionnaire. Data collection using an audio recorder and notes. The instrument to be used is a FGD guide that contains questions related to knowledge about healthy eating patterns and obesity, dietary quality, self-control in food choices and influence of workplace food environment. Qualitative data is processed and analyzed using analytical methods content, thematic synthesis and triangulation for validation.Results: The result of this study shows that there are four main themes affecting dietary quality and obesity among workers. These factors are: lack of knowledge about healthy eating patterns, low dietary quality, lack of self-control and influence of workplace food environment.Conclusions: This study provides information on factors affecting diet quality and obesity in workers. Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Vitamin A sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan dan ketahanan tubuh terhadap penyakit. Kekurangannya dapat menyebabkan kebutaan yang dapat dicegah dan meningkatkan tingkat morbiditas dan kematian, terutama pada balita. Di Indonesia, cakupan suplementasi vitamin A masih relatif rendah (76,68%). Di Provinsi Bengkulu, prevalensi kekurangan vitamin A terendah ditemukan di Kota Bengkulu. Sekitar 10-15% anak Indonesia di bawah usia lima tahun menderita kekurangan vitamin A. Metode: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas literasi gizi menggunakan buku saku tentang pengetahuan dan sikap ibu terkait suplementasi vitamin A untuk balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Sampel terdiri dari 60 ibu (30 pada kelompok intervensi dan 30 pada kelompok kontrol), dipilih secara sengaja dari 772 orang tua yang hadir di Posyandu (posko pelayanan kesehatan terpadu) di kawasan Puskesmas Sawah Lebar pada Mei 2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pre-test dan post-test intervensi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-kuadrat dan regresi logistik multivariat. Hasil: Temuan penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap yang signifikan pada kedua kelompok setelah intervensi (p-value<0,001), meskipun perbedaan antar kelompok tidak signifikan secara statistik. Kelompok intervensi yang menggunakan pocketbook menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata yang sedikit lebih tinggi dalam pengetahuan dan sikap. Kesimpulan: Literasi gizi melalui penggunaan dompet efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu terhadap suplementasi vitamin A dan berpotensi mendukung keberhasilan program vitamin A di masyarakat.KATA KUNCI: balita, literasi gizi, vitamin AABSTRACTIntroduction:  Vitamin A is essential for growth and the body’s resistance to disease. Its deficiency can lead to preventable blindness and increase morbidity and mortality rates, especially among toddlers. In Indonesia, the coverage of vitamin A supplementation remains relatively low (76.68%), and in Bengkulu Province, the lowest prevalence of vitamin A deficiency is found in the city. Approximately 10–15% of Indonesian children under the age of five suffer from vitamin A deficiency. Methods: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional literacy using a pocketbook on mothers' knowledge and attitudes regarding vitamin A supplementation for toddlers. The research used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 60 mothers (30 in the intervention group and 30 in the control group), selected purposively from 772 parents attending the Posyandu (integrated health service post) in the Sawah Lebar Community Health Center area in May 2024. Data was collected via pre- and post-intervention questionnaires, then analyzed using chi-square and multivariate logistic regression tests.Results:  The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge and attitudes in both groups after the intervention (p = 0.000), although the difference between the groups was not statistically significant. The intervention group that used the pocketbook demonstrated a slightly higher average increase in knowledge and attitudes.Conclusion:  Nutritional literacy through the use of pocketbooks is effective in improving maternal knowledge and attitudes toward vitamin A supplementation and has the potential to support the success of vitamin A programs in the community.KEYWORDS:  nutritional literacy, toddlers, vitamin A

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Pada tahun 2023, sebanyak 8,8% remaja Indonesia mengalami overweight dan 2,9% mengalami obesitas. Hal itu dapat terjadi karena pola makan tidak sehat, terutama makanan yang memiliki potensi inflamasi tinggi sehingga mempengaruhi lemak tubuh. Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) merupakan cara untuk mengetahui tingkat potensi inflamasi makanan. Besarnya nilai potensi inflamasi makanan serta bervariasinya konsumsi buah dan sayur dapat mempengaruhi komposisi lemak tubuh remaja.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan skor inflamasi makanan dan variasi konsumsi buah sayur terhadap lemak tubuh pada remaja.Metode: Penelitian menggunakan observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode multistage random sampling dan terpilih 150 remaja berusia 15-18 tahun. Pengambilan data lemak tubuh menggunakan Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA) dan data asupan makan menggunakan Semi Quantitative Questionnaire (SQ FFQ). Penelitian dilakukan di Surakarta pada bulan Mei-Juni 2024. Hasil: Variasi buah sayur pada remaja memiliki rentang skor 0-18 dan skor Dietary Inflammatory Index DII -1,91 hingga 2,39. Hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara skor inflamasi makanan dengan persen lemak tubuh tubuh (r = 0,18, p=0,026), namun tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara konsumsi variasi buah sayur dengan persen lemak tubuh (r= 0,006, p=0,941).Kesimpulan: Tingginya potensi inflamasi makanan berhubungan dengan peningkatan lemak tubuh remaja, namun sayur buah tidak berhubungan dengan lemak tubuh remaja.KATA KUNCI: asupan sayur buah; asupan sayur buah; dietary inflammatory index; lemak tubuh; remajaABSTRACTBackground: In 2023, 8.8% of Indonesian teenagers were overweight, while 2.9% were obese. Many teens are overweight or obese because they eat unhealthy, inflammation-causing foods that increase body fat. The Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) is a method used to determine the level of inflammatory potential in food. The level of the inflammatory potential value in food and the variation in fruit and vegetable consumption can affect the body fat composition of adolescents.Objective: To determine the relationship between the inflammatory score of food and the variation in fruit and vegetable consumption on adolescent body fat.Method: This study used an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional design. The sample of 150 adolescents aged 15-18 was selected using multistage random sampling. Adolescents’ body fat was measured using Bio-Impedance Analysis (BIA) and their dietary intake was assessed using the Semi-Quantitative Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). The research was conducted in Surakarta from May to June 2024. Results: The variation of fruits and vegetables in adolescents has a score range of 0-18 and a DII score of -1.91 to 2.39. Spearman correlation showed that the DII score positively correlates with body fat percentage (r = 0.18, p = 0.026). However, no significant effect was found between fruit and vegetable variety consumption on body fat percentage (r =0.006 p=0.941). Conclusion: Foods with high inflammatory potential may increase body fat in adolescents, while fruit and vegetable variety does not. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Menurut Survei Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2023, sebanyak 15,5% remaja putri menderita anemia, sehingga anemia sebagai suatu masalah kesehatan yang signifikan. Salah satu faktor yang berkaitan dengan anemia remaja adalah rendahnya pengetahuan dan kepatuhan konsumsi Fe.Tujuan: Mengevaluasi efektivitas edukasi gizi menggunakan e-booklet dibandingkan dengan media slide dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap terkait anemia.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-April 2024, melibatkan 85 siswi SMP di Yogyakarta, yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok intervensi (e-booklet dan media slide) dan kelompok kontrol (media slide). Data tentang pengetahuan dan sikap dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur pada tiga tahap: pretest, posttest-1, dan posttest-2. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah paired t-test, uji wilcoxon, independent t-test, dan uji mann-whitney.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam skor pengetahuan pada kedua kelompok, dengan kelompok intervensi mencapai skor post-test yang lebih tinggi (89,1 vs 78,8; p<0,05). Meskipun kedua kelompok menunjukkan sedikit peningkatan dalam hal sikap, perubahan yang diamati tidak mencapai signifikansi secara statistik. Temuan ini menyoroti efektivitas e-booklet sebagai alat pembelajaran digital, yang menawarkan fleksibilitas dan konten mendalam yang mendukung pembelajaran mandiri.Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi potensi e-booklet untuk mengatasi kesenjangan pengetahuan tentang anemia di kalangan remaja. Pembuat kebijakan sebaiknya mengintegrasikan e-booklet ke dalam program pendidikan kesehatan nasional dan menggabungkannya dengan metode offline yang interaktif untuk meningkatkan perubahan pengetahuan remaja.KATA KUNCI: anemia; e-booklet; pengetahuan; remaja putri; sikap ABSTRACTBackground: Based on Indonesia Health Survey 2023, 15,5% female adolescents suffer from anemia, as a significant health problem. Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition education using e-booklets compared to slide media in improving anemia-related knowledge and attitudes.Methods: This was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, conducted in March–April 2024, involving 85 junior high school girls in Yogyakarta, divided into intervention (e-booklet and slide media) and control (slide media) groups. Data on knowledge and attitudes were collected using structured questionnaires at three points: pretest, posttest-1, and posttest-2. Statistical analyses included paired t-tests, Wilcoxon, independent t-tests, and Mann-Whitney tests.Results: The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge scores in both groups, with the intervention group achieving higher post-test scores (89.1 vs. 78.8; p<0.05). Although both groups demonstrated a slight improvement in attitudes, the observed changes did not reach statistical significance. The findings highlight the effectiveness of e-booklets as a digital learning tool, offering flexibility and in-depth content that supports independent learningConclusions: This study underscores the potential of e-booklets to address knowledge gaps about anemia among adolescents. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit kronis yang terjadi ketika pankreas tidak lagi cukup dalam memproduksi insulin. Diabetes Melitus  sebagai salah satu dari lima  penyakit tidak menular yang menyebabkan kematian tertinggi sehingga diprioritaskan untuk pencegahan dan pengendaliannya. Beberapa penelitian vitamin D dan vitamin C menunjukkan kecendrungan variasi pro dan kontra dalam peningkatan sensitivitas insulin penderita Diabetes Melitus.Tujuan: mengetahui hubungan konsumsi vitamin D dan vitamin C dengan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien rawat jalan Diabetes Melitus tipe 2 Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Harapan dan Doa Kota Bengkulu.Metode: Desain penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Sampel sebanyak 57 pasien dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Korelasi.Hasil: Uji korelasi vitamin D dengan glukosa darah menunjukkan nilai p = 0,238, sedangkan vitamin C dengan kadar glukosa darah adalah nilai p = 0,000.Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan konsumsi vitamin D dengan kadar glukosa darah, namun ada hubungan konsumsi vitamin C dengan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien rawat jalan Diabetes Melitus tipe 2. KATA KUNCI: Vitamin D; Vitamin C; glukosa darah; Diabetes melitus tipe 2  ABSTRACTBackground: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas no longer produces enough insulin. Diabetes mellitus is one of the five non-communicable diseases with the highest mortality rate, therefore, its prevention and control are prioritized. Several studies on vitamin D and vitamin C have shown varying trends in improving insulin sensitivity in people with diabetes mellitus.Objectives: To determine the relationship between vitamin D and vitamin C consumption and blood glucose levels in outpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Harapan dan Doa Regional General Hospital, Bengkulu City.Methods: The study design was an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. A sample of 57 patients was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used a correlation test.Results: The correlation test for vitamin D and blood glucose showed a p-value of 0.238, while the correlation between vitamin C and blood glucose levels showed a p-value of 0.000.Conclusions: There is no relationship between vitamin D consumption and blood glucose levels, but there is a relationship between vitamin C consumption and blood glucose levels in outpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. KEYWORDS: Vitamin D; Vitamin C; blood glucose; type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

 ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: DM Tipe 2 merupakan gangguan metabolik yang ditandai hiperglikemia akibat penurunan sekresi insulin oleh sel β-pankreas. Upaya pengendaliannya dilakukan melalui pengaturan pola makan. Biskuit berbahan bekatul beras merah, tepung mocaf, dan biji labu kuning yang diperkaya inulin berpotensi sebagai camilan alternatif bagi penderita DM Tipe 2.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik organoleptik serta kandungan gizi biskuit berbasis bekatul beras merah, mocaf, dan biji labu kuning dengan penambahan inulin, meliputi kadar air, abu, protein, lemak, karbohidrat, antioksidan, gula reduksi, serat pangan, pati total, amilosa, amilopektin, pati resisten, indeks glikemik, dan beban glikemik.Metode: Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga ulangan dan empat formulasi perbandingan bekatul beras merah dan mocaf, yaitu F1(30%:70%), F2(40%:60%), F3(50%:50%), dan F4(60%:40%). Uji organoleptik dianalisis menggunakan Kruskal-Wallis dan Mann-Whitney, sedangkan kandungan gizi menggunakan ANOVA dan Duncan.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nyata pada mutu hedonik (warna, tekstur, rasa pahit) dan kandungan gizi, kecuali gula reduksi. Kadar air 11,48–13,58%, abu 3,30–4,78%, lemak 18,69–21,19%, protein 12,49–15,27%, karbohidrat 47,14–53,92%, antioksidan 16,4–41,89%, gula reduksi 2,76–3,14%, serat pangan total 1,19–3,56%, pati total 35,03–40,42%, amilosa 8,76–9,76%, amilopektin 26,26–30,66%, pati resisten 0,81–2,60%, indeks glikemik 27,46–84,14. Formulasi terbaik adalah F3 (50% bekatul beras merah:50% mocaf) dengan beban glikemik 1,64–9,81 per takaran saji (10–60 g) dengan kategori rendah.Kesimpulan: Biskuit berbahan bekatul beras merah, mocaf, dan biji labu dengan inulin memiliki indeks dan beban glikemik rendah, sehingga berpotensi diaplikasikan sebagai camilan sehat bagi penderita DMT2. KATA KUNCI: bekatul beras merah; biji labu kuning; biskuit; diabetes mellitus tipe 2; tepung mocaf ABSTRACTBackground: Type 2 DM is a metabolic disorder marked by hyperglycemia due to reduced insulin secretion from pancreatic β-cells. Dietary management is essential to control blood glucose levels. Biscuits made from red rice bran, mocaf, and pumpkin seeds enriched with inulin are proposed as an alternative snack for individuals with T2DM.Objectives: This study aimed to analyze organoleptic and nutrient content of biscuits formulated with red rice bran, mocaf, and pumpkin seeds enriched with inulin, including moisture, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates, antioxidants, reducing sugars, dietary fiber, resistant starch, glycemic index, and glycemic load.Methods: Completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications was applied. Four formulations of red rice bran and mocaf were tested: F1(30%:70%), F2(40%:60%), F3(50%:50%), and F4(60%:40%). Organoleptic were assessed using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests, while nutrient content was analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan’s test.Results: The study revealed significant differences in hedonic quality tests for color, texture, bitter taste, and nutritional content, except for reducing sugars. Nutrient values ranged as follows: moisture 11.48–13.58%, ash 3.30–4.78%, fat 18.69–21.19%, protein 12.49–15.27%, carbohydrates 47.14–53.92%, antioxidants 16.4–41.89%, reducing sugars 2.76–3.14%, total dietary fiber 1.19–3.56%, starch 35.03–40.42%, amylose 8.76–9.76%, amylopectin 26.26–30.66%, resistant starch 0.81–2.60%, and GI 27.46–84.14. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Jambi dengan angka prevalensi stunting yang masih tinggi berdasarkan hasil SSGI 2022 yaitu sebesar 22,5%. Penyebab stunting menjadi beberapa faktor baik dari faktor anak sendiri, maupun faktor orang tua dan faktor lingkungan rumah tangga. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji determinan stunting pada balita usia 6-23 bulan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder bersumber dari hasil Survei Status Gizi Indonesia tahun 2022 di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 148 balita berusia 6 hingga 23 bulan sebagai sampel. Analisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dengan melakukan analisis distribusi frekuensi dan tabulasi silang menggunakan chi square. Variabel terikat pada penelitian ini adalah stunting dan variabel bebas yaitu pemantauan pertumbuhan, Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD), Air Susu Ibu (ASI) eksklusif, berat badan lahir, dan imunisasi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemantauan pertumbuhan sebagai variabel bebas yang berhubungan dengan kejadian stunting di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur usia 6-23 bulan (0R 2,34; p = 0,048; 95%CI 1,08 – 5,11), sedangkan IMD, ASI eksklusif, berat badan lahir,dan imunisasi tidak berhubungan dengan stunting. Kesimpulan: Pemantauan pertumbuhan merupakan determinan stunting pada balita usia 6-23 bulan di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Penting untuk meningkatkan kunjungan masyarakat dalam melakukan pemantauan pertumbuhan secara rutin ke pelayanan kesehatan, karena pemantauan berperan dalam mendeteksi dini gangguan gizi, memastikan intervensi yang tepat, dan mendukung tumbuh kembang anak yang optimal. KATA KUNCI: BBLR; IMD; pemantauan pertumbuhan; stunting  ABSTRACTBackground: Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency is one of the regencies in Jambi Province that has a high prevalence of stunting, recorded at 22,5% based on the 2022 SSGI results. Stunting has several causes, including the child's, parental, and household environmental factors. Objectives: This study examined the risk factors for stunting in toddlers aged 6-23 months in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design by utilizing secondary data sourced from the results of the 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, Jambi Province. This study included 148 toddlers between 6 and 23 months as its sample. The analysis used the SPPS application by conducting frequency distribution analysis and cross-tabulation using chi-square. The dependent variable in this study was stunting, and the independent variables were growth monitoring, early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, birth weight, and immunization.Results: The results showed that growth monitoring was the independent variable related to stunting in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency aged 6-23 months (0R 2.34; p = 0.048; 95% CI 1.08 – 5.11), while early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, birth weight, and immunization were not related to stunting.Conclusions: Growth monitoring determines stunting in toddlers aged 6-23 months in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Perkembangan anak usia 1-24 bulan sangat dipengaruhi oleh status gizi. Kekurangan gizi dapat menghambat pertumbuhan fisik, kognitif, serta meningkatkan risiko stunting. Data WHO pada tahun 2024 mencatat 23,2% anak di bawah 5 tahun mengalami stunting. Sementara itu, laporan Survei Status Gizi Indonesia menunjukkan prevalensi 19,8% pada tahun 2024. Dinas Kesehatan Bantul mencatat 7,01% balita mengalami stunting pada Juni 2024, Puskesmas Srandakan tercatat prevalensi tertinggi yaitu 13,94%.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan status gizi terhadap perkembangan anak usia 1-24 bulan.Metode: Penelitian survei analitik dengan desain cross-sectional ini dilakukan di posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Srandakan pada 14 Mei–11 Juni 2025. Sebanyak 104 anak usia 1–24 bulan dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Status gizi diukur dengan antropometri dan perkembangan anak menggunakan KPSP. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank.Hasil: Mayoritas anak memiliki status gizi baik (83,7%) dan perkembangan yang sesuai (68,3%). Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dan perkembangan anak dengan nilai p = 0,976.Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara status gizi dan perkembangan anak usia 1–24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Srandakan, Bantul. Meskipun sebagian besar anak bergizi normal, variasi perkembangan tetap ditemukan pada semua kelompok gizi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor lain—seperti stimulasi, praktik pengasuhan, dan lingkungan psikososial—juga berperan penting. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan perkembangan anak perlu mengintegrasikan intervensi gizi dengan edukasi pengasuhan dan stimulasi yang lebih terarah. KATA KUNCI: baduta; perkembangan anak; status gizi; stunting                                                                                                                                                                                    ABSTRACTBackground: The development of children aged 1-24 months is significantly influenced by nutritional status. Malnutrition can inhibit physical and cognitive growth, and increase the risk of stunting. WHO data in 2024 recorded 23.2% of children under 5 years old experiencing stunting. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey report showed a prevalence of 19.8% in 2024. The Bantul Health Office recorded 7.01% of toddlers experiencing stunting in June 2024, while the Srandakan Community Health Center recorded the highest prevalence at 13.94%.Objective: To determine the relationship between nutritional status and the development of children aged 1-24 months.Method: This analytical survey with a cross-sectional design was conducted at the integrated health service post (posyandu) in the working area of the Srandakan Community Health Center. Total of 104 children aged 1-24 months were selected through cluster random sampling. Nutritional status was measured using anthropometry and child development using the KPSP. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test.Results: The majority of children had good nutritional status (83.7%) and appropriate development (68.3%). Statistical analysis using the Spearman Rank test showed no significant relationship between nutritional status and child development with a p-value of 0.976.Conclusion: This study shows no significant relationship between nutritional status and development in children aged 1–24 months in the Srandakan Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area, Bantul. Although most children had normal nutrition, developmental variations were found across all nutrition groups. These findings indicate that other factors—such as stimulation, parenting practices, and the psychosocial environment—also play a significant role. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang:Gagal jantung merupakan penyakit dengan angka kejadian dan kematian yang tinggi, yang menyerang 64,34 juta orang di seluruh dunia. Di Indonesia, lebih dari 1,5% penduduk, atau sekitar 1.017.290 orang, telah didiagnosis menderita gagal jantung. Kondisi ini memiliki angka kematian yang signifikan, dengan 9,91 juta kematian di seluruh dunia. Faktor gaya hidup, seperti pola makan, memegang peranan penting dalam perkembangannya.Tujuan: Mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kualitas diet dengan status gizi pada pasien dengan gagal jantung Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di RSU Siaga Medika Purbalingga dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 110 orang menggunakan metode consecutive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi pasien gagal jantung kongestif dengan rentan usia 17 - <65 tahun baik wanita maupun pria. Data asupan makan dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Recall 24 Hours dan formulir Diet Quality Index International (DQI-I) Data asupan makanan akan diolah menjadi beberapa jenis asupan makanan yang nantinya akan dihitung menggunakan perangkat lunak berupa nutrisurvey. Analisis statistic yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji fisher dan juga uji mann- whitney Hasil: analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas diet dengan status gizi pada pasien dengan gagal jantung, dengan p-value sebesar 0.883. P-value lebih besar dari nilai signifikansi yang biasanya digunakan menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara kualitas diet dengan status gizi.Kesimpulan: Hubungan antara kualitas diet dengan status gizi pada pasien dengan gagal jantung didapatkan hasil yang tidak signifikan. Subjek/ responden penelitian ini tidak terlalu banyak, pada penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan dengan subjek/ responden lebih banyak sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang mungkin bisa dijandikan acuan lainnya untuk pengemabangan pada penelitian selanjutnya dengan variable atau penyakit berbeda. Kata kunci: Diet Quality Index-International (DQI-I); diet recall 24 hours; gagal jantung; kualitas diet; status gizi ABSTRACT  Background:  Heart failure is a disease with a high incidence and mortality rate, affecting 64.34 million people worldwide. In Indonesia, over 1.5% of the population, or approximately 1,017,290 individuals, have been diagnosed with heart failure. This condition has a significant mortality rate, with 9.91 million deaths attributed to it globally. Lifestyle factors, such as diet, play a crucial role in its development.Objectives: to determine whether there is a relationship between diet quality and nutritional status in patients with heart failure.Method: The research was carried out at RSU Siaga Medika Purbalingga with a total of 110 respondents using the consecutive method with the inclusion criteria of heart failure patients aged 17 - <65 years, both women and men. The method used is a cross-sectional study in the form of analytical observational data collection techniques using a questionnaire in the form of a 24 Hour Diet Recall and Diet Quality Index International (DQI-I) form and interviews are conducted by signing an informed consent. The data obtained from the interviews in the form of food intake data will be processed and divided into several types of food intake which will later be calculated using software in the form of nutrisurvey. The statistical analysis used in this study is the Fisher test and the Mann-Whitney test.Results: The analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between diet quality and nutritional status in patients with heart failure, with a p-value of 0.883. This p-value is greater than the significance value usually used, indicating that there is no relationship between diet quality and nutritional status.Conclusions: The relationship between diet quality and nutritional status in patients with heart failure obtained insignificant results.
