Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the responsibilities of business actors towards consumers regarding warranty cards that have expired according to Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. and to find out the legal consequences for consumers who have bad intentions towards business actors. This research uses normative legal research methods. The results of this research are that business actors no longer have responsibility for refrigerator products that are damaged because the guarantee period issued by the business actor and based on Minister of Trade Regulation 38/2019 has passed the time limit so that business actors are freed from responsibility as stated in Article 27 UUPK Juncto Article 19 Paragraph (5) UUPK. The legal consequences that occur for consumers who have bad intentions towards business actors can be in the form of absolute liability, giving rise to lawsuits for compensation from business actors. restrictions on consumer rights and loss of reputation for business actors.

Abstract

This paper examines the consequences of the post-merger regime in Law No. 5/1999 concerning the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Business Competition. This research uses the normative juridical method and comparative approach, comparing the American Antitrust Law which has successfully implemented the pre-merger notification with the Indonesian Business Competition Law which implements the post-merger notification. The results of this study indicate that the importance of implementing the Pre Merger Notification in the Law Concerning Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition is viewed in a comparison with the success of the Antitrust Law America and supported by the dynamics of globalization of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which became a challenge for the Business Association Supervisory Commission. Thus, the regime change from Post Merger Notification to Pre Merger Notification is the right step in implementing a merger in Indonesia because Pre Merger Notification provides legal certainty and is also more efficient for business actors and KPPU as a preventive effort with the aim that the implementation of Pre Merger Notification will be carried out optimally in achieving the goal of fair business competition.

Abstract

Company value has a definition that shareholders' opinions on the good and bad of a company can also be valued from the company's stock price. Shareholders assess if the higher the share price of a company, the higher the value of the company. This study aims to determine how the influence of environmental performance, environmental costs and corporate social responsibility on company value. This type of research is quantitative approach research. The data used is secondary data from company data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that publishes annual reports and sustainability reports. The samples in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period as many as 75 samples from 25 companies using purposive sampling techniques. Based on the results of the analysis using the SPSS program version 25 for windows, it shows the results that environmental performance and environmental costs affect company value, while corporate social responsibility does not affect company value. Researchers hope that future research will not only focus on manufacturing sector companies but can expand the object of research in other sectors.

Abstract

Traveling means visiting a new place that is different from where you currently live. Clean, beautiful and well-maintained beach conditions will make tourists more comfortable when traveling. However, damage to the coastal environment can occur due to human activities. The aim of this research is to determine the factors related to visitor behavior in throwing away rubbish at Lampu Satu Beach, Merauke Regency, Papua. The research design used is a cross-sectional research design. The sample was visitors to Lampu Satu Beach, Merauke Regency, Papua with a sample size of 321 samples. The statistical test used is the chi square test. Based on univariate analysis, the results showed that 139 (43.3%) respondents had good waste disposal behavior, 129 (40.2%) respondents had high knowledge, 128 (39.9%) respondents had a positive attitude, mature age < 46 as many as 306 (95.3%), respondents with female gender as many as 172 (53.6%), respondents with primary-secondary education 231 people (72.0%), respondents working as many as 171 (53.3%). Bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.032), attitude (p=0.020), no significant relationship between age (p=1.000), gender p=0.818), education (p= 0.384), and occupation (p=0.210) with trash throwing behavior at Lampu Satu Beach. The approach involves educating beach visitors about awareness and the importance of caring for the surrounding environment. Involve influential community figures in changing the behavior of littering so that visitors are motivated to protect the beach environment.

Abstract

Technology information development changed the customer behaviour in desire in booking hotel room. Online Travel Agent is one of the most advanced products that is currently booming and change the room reservation pattern from direct reservation or go show to room reservation by Online Travel Agent. The purpose of this study was to find the information why the booking pattern changed from direct reservation to online travel agent in order to improve the e-commerce in maintain the guest to still choosing Mercure Nexa Bandung as their preferred hotel to stay in Bandung. The result of the study shows Online Travel Agent can increase hotel occupancy rate because they are accessible, efficient and effective at competitive prices as well the hotel costs with sales cost, fees and employee payroll expenses. Hotel’s management support in developing OTA is needed as an effort to increase number of room reservation from OTA.

Abstract

The need for housing is increasing along with the rate of population growth. Simple livable housing is an option for low-income communities in accordance with the regional minimum wage. In making investments to make housing requires a feasibility analysis so that it can assess in accordance with the company's financial capabilities so that the company does not experience losses and make profits after investing large enough funds. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of investing in the MPR 2 Type 31/60 m2 simple housing development project in the Semarang Regency area which is viewed from a financial perspective using the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) methods. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded in terms of the feasibility of investing in the construction of subsidized houses type 31/60 in MPR 2 housing is feasible. This can be seen from the results of the analysis with the positive NPV method of Rp.127,933,335.12 > 1, the results of the analysis with the IRR method of 9.79% > 5% (MARR), the results of the analysis with the PP method, it shows that the period of return on investment occurs for 1 year 4 days, and the results of the analysis with the BCR method of 1.018 > 1.

Abstract

Education is one of the pillars of a country's development. Teachers as central figures in the education system have a very important role in improving the quality of education. Innovation in teacher performance management is the key to improving the quality of education. This research examines effective innovations in teacher performance management to improve the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach at Madrasah Ibtidaiya Kahasiri, Probolinggo City. Data was collected through interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of documents related to teacher performance management. This study shows that effective innovation in teacher performance management includes several main aspects. First, inclusive and collaborative leadership development helps create a positive work environment. Leadership that understands and supports teachers' needs and supports their professional development plays a key role in increasing teacher morale and motivation. Second, teacher empowerment through training and skills development aims to improve pedagogical competence and classroom management skills. Third, the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in education and teacher performance management can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process. The results of this research indicate that effective innovation in teacher performance management requires collaboration between school principals, teachers and other stakeholders. Creating a positive work environment, empowering teachers, and using technology wisely can significantly improve the quality of education. Therefore, education stakeholders are expected to adopt these innovations to improve the quality of education and provide a better future for future generations.

Abstract

Asesmen pengembangan karir dilakukan sebagai salah satu praktik pengelolaan karir yang ditujukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat kesesuaian antara kompetensi, minat, potensi, dan kepribadian subjek dalam posisi yang akan dipromosikan. Subjek pada penelitian ini merupakan 1 orang yang merupakan karyawan PT. X. Subjek sedang berada pada masa asesmen yang merupakan suatu masa di mana dia akan dipromosikan ke dalam posisi supervisor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes psikologi dan metode wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa subjek direkomendasikan ke dalam posisi Supervisor SDM karena telah memenuhi persyaratan kompetensi jabatan dan minat yang dibutuhkan untuk dipromosikan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa subjek tidak direkomendasikan ke dalam posisi Supervisor CSR & Umum karena terdapat kompetensi inti yang belum sesuai dengan persyaratan promosi.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to provide children's rights in detention centers, especially Depok Class I Detention Center. The type of research in this research is empirical juridical research. Based on the results of data searches, interviews and analysis from the author regarding including children's rights in Depok Class I Detention Center, it can be concluded that in order to fulfill the rights and develop child care providers in Depok Class I Detention Center, the rights of child care providers have not been fully fulfilled. Looking at the educational, health and activity facilities provided for child detainees in Depok Class I Detention Center, it is still very far from perfect. The large number of inmates in the Depok Class I Detention Center and the disproportionate number of staff working in the Depok Class I Detention Center is an obstacle for the Depok Class I Detention Center in supervising and developing child care providers. There is no special children's development institution in Depok, which means that child detainees are forced to serve their prison terms with adult detainees.

Abstract

PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Cinta Manis is a large-scale sugarcane plantation and has many workers, including women. Women laborers who work at PTPN VII Cinta Manis are included in vulnerable communities because they cannot get out of the poverty cycle they experience. This is reinforced by the covid-19 pandemic which has worsened the socio-economic situation of women workers. The purpose of this study is to explain the socio-economic changes of female laborers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study research strategy. The results of this study are that women laborers experienced significant changes during the Covid-19 pandemic from changes in thinking, changes in attitudes and changes in terms of interactions and activities. The strategies carried out also vary from utilizing skills, selling at home and social media to catfish farming to survive during the pandemic.
