Abstract

This paper will discuss the modeling claim severity of ThirdParty Liability insurance using a mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution. The mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution is a distribution built on the basis of an infinitely mixed distribution. The mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution is a continuous distribution with one parameter, namely α. Parameters in the mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution can be estimated using the maximum likelihood estimator method through the Newton-Raphson iteration numerical method. The distribution fit test was carried out using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov fit test. The data used is data on Third Party Liability insurance claims with comprehensive coverage at PT. X for the 2019 policy for category 2 in all regions. Based on the results of applying the mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution on the data claim severity of Third Party Liability insurance with comprehensive coverage at PT. X in 2019 category 2 using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test it can be concluded that the claims severity in regions 1 and 3 come from populations with a mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution, while the claim severity claims in region 2 come from populations that don't have a mixed Rayleigh-Rayleigh distribution.

Abstract

The urgency of ICT development and interconnectivity among regions has recently gained attention. This research aims to mediate and assess the progress of ICT by analyzing factors that can impact the economy. Consequently, it can be observed how ICT influences the economy of each Indonesian province. This study is conducted to contribute and enrich empirical studies on Regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and its influencing factors. It provides insights for policymakers, especially the central and local governments, in stimulating regional economies and gaining a different perspective on ICT and its impact on GDP. However, to capture the indirect effects of development on the economy, a lag of one year is applied to each variable. The data period for the GDP variable is limited to 2017-2021, while for other variables, it is 2016-2020, aligning with the research objective of examining the economic development overview. These data are then processed using panel data regression. Based on descriptive and statistical analysis, it can be concluded that the percentage of the population aged 5 and above accessing the internet has a significant contribution to the economy as depicted by GDP. However, there are other more significant factors contributing to Indonesia's GDP.

Abstract

One of the developmental tasks in adolescence and early adulthood is finding the right career direction. Finding a career that matches your interests and ways to actualize yourself, becomes something that needs to be explored and start in adolescence. Students also cannot be separated from the exploration process to find a career that is in line with their interests and abilities. This career exploration process is lead to career search efficacy. In addition, the student's representation of himself in the future that reflects his expectations and aspirations related to work becomes very important to have. This research wants to see the role of social support, especially from parents and peers towards career search efficacy with the moderator of future work self-students. The population of this study is students in the city of Bandung. Data analysis techniques using linear regression between social support variables and career search efficacy, with future work self variables as moderators. The results showed that parental social support and peer social support simultaneously did not contribute to the variable career self-efficacy. Partial parental social support showed no contribution to predicting career self-efficacy. Similar results also occurred in peer social support that did not significantly contribute to predicting career self-efficacy. The future work self variable does not moderate the influence between parental social support and career self-efficacy. On the other hand, the future work self variable can moderate the influence between peer social support on career self-efficacy.

Abstract

Out-of-court hearings are one of the efforts to bring access to justice closer to the community. This is important, given that there are still many people who find it difficult to access justice in court due to various factors, such as distance, cost and time. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of out-of-house trials within the jurisdiction of the Labuha Religious Court. This study used qualitative research methods. Data were collected through direct observation when an out-of-house hearing took place, interviews with judges, clerks, and parties involved in the hearing, as well as document studies such as court minutes and decisions. The results showed that out-of-house sessions were effective in resolving cases in the jurisdiction of the Labuha Religious Court. The time to resolve cases through out-of-building hearings is faster than in-building hearings. In addition, out-of-building hearings also provide access to justice for people living in remote areas. However, there are still some obstacles such as limited infrastructure and facilities that can affect the effectiveness of trials outside the building.

Abstract

The Village Fund policy is intended for villages to finance the implementation of village governance. For more than three years, the priority use of the Village Fund has been directed towards stunting prevention. However, it was identified that stunting prevention in three villages in Bunguran Tengah sub-district is still high. The assumption is that with the management of the Village Fund for stunting prevention in the three villages, it will decrease, if this continues, it will risk decreasing the level of productivity in the three villages. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Village Fund Management Policy in Bunguran Tengah Sub-district, Natuna Regency, including an analysis of the factors that influence policy implementation, factors that hinder policy implementation, and efforts to overcome factors that hinder policy implementation. The theory used as a basis for examining the focus of research, namely Policy Implementation Theory using the Donald P. Warwick Model, includes Enabling Factors consisting of Organizational Commitment, Organizational Capability, Information Quality, and Potential. The inhibiting factors consist of the number of actors involved in policy implementation, low commitment or dual loyalty, the inherent complexity of the policy (instrinsic complexity), too long decision-making levels, time and leadership changes. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The determination of informants in this study was carried out by purposive sampling, including the Head of Service, Sub-District Head, Village Head, Community Empowerment Expert, Village Facilitator, Community Development Cadre (KPM), Community Leaders. Data analysis will be carried out with descriptive analysis using the stages of data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the Village Fund Management Policy Implementation Process in Bunguran Tengah District, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands Province is running quite well, but not yet optimal. Influenced by factors of organizational commitment, organizational capability, quality of information, potential. Factors that hinder implementation include the low ability of human resources, Standard Operating Procedures in stunting prevention efforts in three villages have not been compiled as guidelines for the flow of work procedures, low commitment that occurs in leaders and implementers, decision-making levels that are too long, changes in leadership mean there is also the possibility of policy changes and the unavailability of supporting equipment, this results in less effective management of the Village Fund.

Abstract

The escalation of society in an area makes land an object that is much needed. Because its availability is increasingly running low. Therefore, land has become a very valuable object and of course makes many people justify any means to obtain land. Land grabbing is not something new and occurs in Indonesia. The word invasion itself can be interpreted as the act of taking rights or property arbitrarily or without paying attention to laws and regulations, such as occupying someone else's land or house, which is not their right. The act of illegally grabbing land is an act against the law. From a civil law perspective, what is regulated in Article 1365 and Article 1366 can ensnare people who grab land, because it can be seen that in cases of land grabbing there are parties who are harmed and need compensation for the losses experienced by that party, and Land grabbing is also an unlawful act in which someone enters the land without right. This research aims to analyze and examine legal indicators of land grabbing which have implications for civil unlawful acts (onrechmatigheid daad). And what is the mechanism for resolving land grabbing disputes which have implications for unlawful acts The method used in this research is normative research on the legal rules contained in Article 1328 of the Civil Code. The data used in this research is secondary data. Secondary data used in this research consists of primary legal materials which are authoritative, which means they have authority, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials
