Abstract

The learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is mostly done online, is a challenge for educational institutions in strengthening character values in students, which is an important aspect of educational goals.This research aimed to analyze the implementation of the kemuhammadiyahan subject on empowering poor families during the COVID-19 pandemic in strengthening character values for students. This research was conducted through a qualitative method combining two data collection techniques; review on documents (books and journal articles) and observation of 238 students from 16 departments and 6 faculties who had attended kemuhammadiyahan subject at the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka.This research reveals that kemuhammadiyahan subjects using the online learning method combined with field assignments (luring) in the form of empowering poor families have an effect on strengthening student character values. After taking the kemuhammadiyahan subject, students increasingly have a sense and attitude of caring for others (welas asih), sympathy and empathy, social responsibility, gratitude, optimism, generosity, honesty, discipline, patience, citizenship, commitment, compassion, and sincerity. Students also feel that they are increasingly possessing skills such as creative, innovative, communicative and collaborative.This study also shows that kemuhammadiyahan subjects have contributed to helping the poor who were economically affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this kemuhammadiyahan subject model is relevant to the Freedom of Learning-Independence Campus (MBKM) policy which was initiated by the Ministry of Education which requires learning which can be implemented based on humanitarian project programs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the existence of distance learning Islamic religious education and online guidance and counselling services during the Covid-19 pandemic and to find out the opportunities and challenges in implementing distance learning and online Islamic counselling services at SMP Sidoarjo Regency during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative research methods that are careful, thorough, and careful about a program that implemented, various events and activities carried out both as a whole and individually. Data collection techniques in this study use interviews and observation. Researchers conducted interviews to collect information related to distance learning in several subjects that were applied through the PAI distance learning system and online BK services implemented at SMP Sidoarjo Regency by interviewing them directly. For the observation phase, researchers implemented PAI distance learning and online BK services carried out by junior high schools in the Sidoarjo Regency. Challenges and opportunities for implementing distance PAI learning and online guidance and counselling services during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating a platform with features for distance PAI learning and online guidance and counselling services that accommodate increased self-efficacy and achievement motivation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims the study of Parents attention to the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education grade XII students at SMKN 1 Batam. The research method used in this study uses quantitative research methods. The population is all students of Islamic religion class XII at SMK 1 Batam. While the sample selection uses simple random sampling technique, 100 students out of 452 students who are Islamic students of class XII at SMKN 1 Batam. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire containing closed questions. The data analysis technique used structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis with AMOS 24. The conclusion in this study was that the attention of parents (X) had a positive and significant direct effect on learning achievement (Y) of religious education for class XII students at SMKN 1 Batam by 5.7 %

Abstract

Advances in computer technology, especially the internet, are currently very influential on all aspects of life, including education. Technological advances in education present a distance learning process online using the internet. This has resulted in increased demands for teachers in teaching which are not only focused on mastering the material, but must be supported by the application and mastery of IT that supports knowledge for exploration and creation of independent learning. In practice, the implementation of this learning has advantages and disadvantages. This is related to the readiness of internet facilities, teachers, and students. The purpose of this study was to test the online learning system for students of the Teacher Professional Program (PPG) with a gender perspective at FITK UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research method used is quantitative. Data analysis used Rasch analysis and Gender Analysis Pathway (GAP). The results showed that student responses to the use of the online web were categorized into 2 groups of persons, namely respondents as the high group and the medium group. There are 69 people in the high group category and 47 people in the moderate group with a balanced distribution of the number of men and women. The conclusions of the study stated that the use of the online learning system for PPG students did not show a statistically significant difference between men and women.

Abstract

Recently, many people have made Western education a model for the advancement of civilization. Western curriculum education is, therefore, offered as an alternative system. In the case of Turkey, this adoption of the idea produced the gap between traditional madrasa graduates and the graduate of the secular school, which impacts the emergence of a crisis of civilization. This article tries to offer a solution to this crisis by bringing up the idea of a contemporary Turkish thinker, Said Nursi, in his concept of reformed Islamic education. This concept has three essential elements of education: spiritual, intellectual, and moral, realized by Said Nursi through Medresetuz Zahra. Nursi expresses the integration of these three aspects in his masterpiece, Resale-I Nur. This is qualitative library research using documentary techniques to collect the data. The collected data are analyzed utilizing the descriptive-analytical method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using e-book balancing ecosystem based on character education (religious values) on student achievement. This study used experimental research methods and the design used was a quasi-experimental design using post test Only Control Design research. The sample to be used is 40 students of fifth grade Elementary School which are divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The data collection techniques used were tests, documentation and observation. After conducting the research, it can be analyzed that the learning achievement scores of the two classes are higher in the experimental class than the control class. After testing the hypothesis (T-test), the results obtained are Tcount = 3,315 Ttable 1,686 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the result of this study is that there is an effect of the use of the e-book on the balance of the ecosystem based on character education (religious values) on the learning achievement of elementary school students.
