Abstract

This paper proposes fire alarm system by implementing Naïve Bayes Method for increasing smoke classifier accuracy on Internet of Things (IoT) environment. Fire disasters in the building of houses are a serious threat to the occupants of the house that have a hazard to the safety factor as well as causing material and non-material damages. In an effort to prevent the occurrence of fire disaster, fire alarm system that can serve as an early warning system are required. In this paper, fire alarm system that implementing Naïve Bayes classification has been impelemented. Naïve Bayes classification method is chosen because it has the modeling and good accuracy results in data training set. The system works by using sensor data that is processed and analyzed by applying Naïve Bayes classification to generate prediction value of fire threat level along with smoke source. The smoke source was divided into five types of smoke intended for the classification process. Some experiments have been done for concept proving. The results show the use of Naïve Bayes classification method on classification process has an accuracy rate range of 88% to 91%. This result could be acceptable for classification accuracy.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dilakukan investigasi POS Tagger dengan pendekatan Cyclic Dependency Network untuk data tweet dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Untuk koleksi tweet, digunakan tiga koleksi data, yakni tweet dengan gaya bahasa formal, informal dan gabungan. Sumber koleksi tweet formal adalah tweet dari akun berita, sedangkan koleksi tweet informal didapatkan dari akun umum.  Adapun jenis tag yang digunakan berjumlah 41, dimana 35 adalah standar tag Bahasa Indonesia dan 6 adalah tambahan tag untuk twitter. Hasilnya adalah untuk koleksi data formal ketepatan deteksi mencapai 95,42%. Sedangkan untuk koleksi data informal dan gabungan ketepatannya mencapai 92,42% dan 90,69% secara berurutan. Kami juga mendapatkan hasil bahwa untuk tag yang sering muncul cenderung untuk memiliki nilai ketepatan yang tinggi juga, sedangkan tag yang kemunculannya lebih sedikit menyebabkan penurunan rata-rata ketepat secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Bandwidth is a critical parameter that must be considered in the design of electrically small antennas for compact wireless system. In order to overcome the demerit of narrow bandwidth, a simple method of bandwidth enhancement through parametric study of PIFA is proposed. The PIFA understudied was designed and simulated by the use of theoretical equations based on transmission line model and High Frequency Structural Simulator (HFSS) respectively. It has initial bandwidth of  The study reveals that by reducing the size ratio of the planar element (radiating patch) of PIFA, bandwidth enhancement of  was achieved. Increasing the distance between short plate and feed gave rise to  increment in bandwidth while increasing the length of ground plane while keeping the width of ground plane constant enhanced bandwidth by .  The designed compact PIFA of patch size  can be employed in wireless systems such as cell phone  and implantable medical devices .

Abstract

Jaringan Ad Hoc adalah jaringan wireless dengan beberapa Mobile node yang tidak memiliki router tetap. Setiap node ini dapat berfungsi sebagai router yang dapat mencari dan menangani jalur ke node yang lain dalam suatu jaringan. Setiap node pada jaringan bersifat Mobile sehingga topologi dari jaringannya selalu berubah-ubah. AODV dan ZRP merupakan contoh routing protocol yang efisien untuk jaringan Ad Hoc pada tipe routing protocol masing-masing. AODV untuk tipe routing protocol reactive dan ZRP untuk tipe routing protocol hybrid. Setiap routing protocol tentu akan memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda dalam kecepatan mencari jalur routing dan kemampuan pengiriman jumlah packet dalam jaringan, sehingga Quality of Service (QoS) untuk setiap routing protocol juga berbeda. Oleh karena itu, menjadi penting untuk mengetahui kecepatan dan efisiensi routing protocol dalam menentukan routing yang akan digunakan dalam studi kasus. Dalam Penelitian melakukan analisis QoS jaringan ad hoc pada routing protocol AODV dan ZRP dengan parameter yang di uji adalah End to End Delay, Jitter, Packet Delivery Ratio dan Throughput. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan analisa dengan melihat QoS setiap protocol routing. Hasil pengujian memperlihatkan bahwa masing-masing routing protocol yang diteliti, routing protocol AODV memiliki waktu yang lebih cepat dalam proses pengiriman packet ke node selanjutnya dengan nilai rata-rata 0.3134 detik dari pada routing protocol ZRP yang memiliki nilai 0.3891 detik. Untuk jumlah packet yang terkirim routing protocol ZRP lebih baik dengan rata-rata throughput 963.34 Kb dibandingkan dengan routing protocol AODV.

Abstract

Information technology in organizations plays an important role for the continuity of their current business processes. Almost every organization already has information technology and dependence on their information technology. With the existence of information technology, it can help business process in the organization runs smoothly, and according to desired by every organization. But not infrequently the information technology that has been operating has problems that are very annoying and hinder the business process of the organization. Problems that exist in this company is at the time of maintenance and custom or repair process undertaken by the company. With the existence of the problem, the writer wanted to audit the existing governance in companies that have problems regarding aspects of information technology delivery. The author uses the COBIT 5 framework on the DSS domain (Deliver, Service, and Support) and focuses on the sub domains of DSS01 Manage Operations, DSS02 Manage Service Requests and Incidents, DSS03 Manage Problems, and DSS06 Manage Business Process Controls. The assessment method used is a capability model consisting of five capability levels. Based on the audit of information technology governance conducted by researchers using COBIT 5, then the conclusion of this study is the average capability level of the overall process obtained most of the process has reached level 1 performed process.

Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang memiliki sebuah legacy system, yakni layanan SMS gateway. Selama sistem ini digunakan muncul beberapa kebutuhan baru, yakni kebutuhan akan fungsional dan non fungsional, diantaranya adalah automatic reply yang diintegrasikan dengan data request, automatic broadcast dan interface yang responsif. Munculnya berbagai kebutuhan baru ini menandakan bahwa institusi berharap performa dan fungsionalitas dari legacy system bertambah. Ketika perlu untuk memperbarui software dan berharap performa, keandalan, dan fungsionalitasnya bertambah, tanpa mempengaruhi fungsi utamanya, software re-engineering dapat mengatasi masalah seperti ini. Software re-engineering dapat diimplementasikan pada legacy system (SMS gateway) untuk ditransformasikan kedalam sistem informasi manajemen layanan SMS center, sehingga beberapa kebutuhan baru seperti automatic reply yang diintegrasikan dengan data request, automatic broadcast, dan interface yang responsif dapat direalisasikan. Pada software re-engineering terdapat model proses yang harus dilakukan dalam proses implementasi. sehingga proses transformasi dari legacy system ke sistem informasi manajemen layanan SMS center serta proses penambahan beberapa kebutuhan baru dapat berjalan dengan baik, sehingga apa yang diharapkan institusi dapat direalisasikan.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the major disasters occurring in various parts of the world including Malaysia. To reduce the effect of the disaster, a flood warning and monitoring are needed to give an early warning to the victims at certain place with high prone to flood. By implementing Internet of Thing technology into the system, it could help the victim to get an accurate status of flood in real-time condition. This paper is develop a real-time flood monitoring and early warning system using wireless sensor node at a high prone area of flood. This system is based on NodeMCU based technology integrated using Blynk application. The wireless sensor node can help the victims by detecting the water levels and rain intensity while giving an early warning when a flood or heavy rain occurs. Basically, the sensor node consists of ultrasonic sensor and rain sensor controlled by NodeMCU as the microcontroller of the system which placed at the identified flood area. Buzzer and LED started to trigger and alert the victim when the flood had reached certain level of hazard. Data detected from the sensors are sent to the Blynk application via wireless connection. Victim will get to know the current status of flood and rain by viewing the interface and receiving push notification that available in Blynk application via IOS or Android smartphones. The flood level’s data sent to the email could help various organizations for further improvement of the system and flood forecasting purposes. After a test had been conducted, it was found that this prototype can monitor, detect and give warning with notification to the victim earlier before the occurrence of floods.

Abstract

Bandwidth management in an institution becomes a fundamental need that must be managed properly. The continuous increase in the number of user, data and hardware technologies result in unequal distribution and bandwidth absorption. The increasingly diverse needs of the users in the virtual world require refined setting of bandwidth scheme. If bandwidth is not set properly, bandwidth can be accessed by multiple users. Institutions engaged in education consist of several parties such as employees, teachers and students (called student body). Queue implementation is a technique of dividing bandwidth according to the proportional needs of its users; moreover, this technique is able to work flexibly to organize and allocate bandwidth to end users. The ease of adding and reducing the amount of bandwidth becomes its main feature. The concept of campus network adopted from a Cisco fundamental system can serve as one model that can optimize the infrastructure and the distribution of bandwidth to end users. The method used in this research is employing direct observation, conducting interviews for problem identification and assigning the Internet service requirement and the availability of hardware and software resources. The optimization of bandwidth management by considering student body becomes the main objective. The implementation of queue on each network allows the distribution of bandwidth conforming the user satisfaction. Based on user satisfaction survey result, the user satisfaction level of Queue Tree implementation reached 59.2%.

Abstract

HESS is a suitable technology when applied to electric cars. One application is in SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) car. The use of Supercapacitors can reduce the excess of load on the battery. Uneven soil contours cause current spike and drop in battery voltage which can reduce battery lifetime. This journal presents a simulated study of HESS batteries and Supercapacitors in SUV cars. Fuzzy-based energy management strategies and threshold control are introduced. The simulation study shows the difference between the control using the number of climb data and not, and the Fuzzy control response to the demand load. The simulation results mention the reduction of the maximum current and the battery voltage drop according to the load. The total energy ratio used between the two controls is also presented.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada perusahaan yang bekerja di bidang produksi kantong plastik adalah masih tingginya kerusakan hasil produksi (afal). Hal ini dikarenakan operator yang bertugas untuk menjadwalkan produksi masih kurang memiliki kemampuan dan pengalaman yang mencukupi untuk menjadwalkan produksi, sehingga menyebabkan kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahan penjadwalan yang tinggi. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat merekomendasikan  jadwal produksi.  Algoritma yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi  ini menggunakan algoritma harmony search. Solusi penjadwalan produksi akan direpresentasikan dalam bentuk nada-nada. Setiap nada akan improvisasi terus menerus hingga mencapai nada terbaik yang mampu memberikan rekomendasi jadwal yang terbaik. Proses pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap aplikasi dengan menggunakan data sebanyak 28 order memberikan hasil bahwa aplikasi ini dapat melakukan penjadwalan dengan tingkat keakuratan mencapai 98%.
