Abstract

Community Learning Center (CLC) is a non-formal education institution that serves as a place and opportunity for the community members to learn.  CLC develops as learners’ needs, educational regulations, and general society develop.  The implementation of learning activities differs from one CLC to another.  The quality also varies between one CLC institution and the next. The quality of human resources in CLC contributes to the quality of the CLC.  The key human resource that plays a great role in determining the success or failure of CLC is its manager.  Managerial ability of CLC managers is one of the key factors of CLC’s success.  To improve the quality of CLC, the quality of its managers has to be improved first.  CLC managers have to possess sufficient knowledge, skills, and capabilities to realize the nine characters of CLC set in the Standard and Operational Procedures of CLC.  Nowadays, CLC faces several problems in quality improvement: (1) whether or not the developed learning programs are oriented towards the learners and stakeholders; (2) whether or not all stakeholders of CLC are actively involved in the management and development of CLC; (3) whether or not learning implementation and evaluation been performed as required; it is unlikely that CLC will meet the quality standard set by the community without first having a tool to measure its progress and achievement; (4) whether or not all interested parties have strong commitment to quality improvement; and (5) whether or not the improvement and development efforts in CLC management and learning implementation have been continuous and sustainable.  One of the quality improvement efforts in CLC is the development of managerial professionalism.  The managers of CLC may implement CLC managerial development strategies, which begin with strategic planning.  Managerial development strategies include effective and efficient management of resources and the implementation of skill development and public enrichment approaches.

Abstract

Religious learning in the era of technology and information will experience many obstacles in the realization if not accompanied by a contextual learning model. Teachings delivered will be more successful if delivered by forming aspects of sense and aspect ratio that can be accepted with common sense. Thus in the learning of religion should make the maximum innovation adjusted with space and time and in tune with the changes and development of the era. Abstract

God is very difficult to understand with eyes. In order to know God, His nature, and His personification, use of various symbols can be helpful, which suggests the unification of two elements, namely the physical and spiritual ones. Acintya is the symbol or manifestation of God s Omnipotence. It is the “unimaginable” that turns to be the “imaginable" through potraits, reliefs, or statues. All of these symbols are manifestation of the Acintya that takes the form of the dance of Shiva Nataraja, as the depiction of the Omnipotence of God, to bring in the actual symbol of the "Unthinkable " that have a meaning that people are in a situation where emotions religinya very close with God.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide a correct understanding of the importance of quality and professionalism of Hindu religious teachers in education. A teacher of religion, especially Hindu religious teachers is not just a job assigned to transfer knowledge but also served to instill the values of the teachings of Hinduism to the learners. Hindu religious teachers are professional positions, hence a teacher demanded to carry out their duties professionally. The professionalism of a teacher can be seen from how to run any of the duties is always productive, innovative, efficient and effective and independentTo be a Hindu religious teacher who is able to carry out their duties in a professional manner, the necessary efforts both from its own consciousness and on the governments efforts. In an effort to become a Hindu religious teachers qualified and professional, then a Hindu religious teachers is not enough to just rely on what the government has programmed as with training, workshops, competition research, as well as awards in the form of allowance teacher certification, and seminars, but a Hindu religious teachers are required to understand the teachings of Hinduism as a whole and want to fill themselves with the knowledge and responsiveness to changing times and technological advances. Thus, the material being taught will always correspond with the times and the material can be innovative, efficient and effective in their delivery in the classroom.Finally the success of a teacher of religion in their profession will appear on the character and attitude of the learners who become responsible, religious and good behavior.

Abstract

Education is the human necessity and it has major role to gain better life. The education quality depends on the government policy, the societies’ role, and schools’ efforts to due education. The school is one of the institution that enrolls teaching and learning activity and it needs some components to support its activity. The achievement of educational quality can be seen on the students’ progress during teaching and learning process. The students’ achievement of Hinduism lesson is quite low caused they had nothing from the subjects that being learned. The Hinduism lesson students’ achievement using printed media and multimedia presentation due through classroom management, teaching materials, develop students’ learning activity, the assessment of teaching and learning process, and the assessment of comprehending concept/ knowledge, these results raise 20% from the former results.

Abstract

The low quality and the quality of education in Indonesia is not a secret anymore. Even among ASEAN countries alone, the quality of education in Indonesia arriving under Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and even Filiphine. Issue low quality of education in Indonesia has often been a hot topic in various scientific forums, discussion will be the condition of education in Indonesia. Many efforts have been taken by the government with the enactment of Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System, but it has not been able to resolve the problem of the quality of education in Indonesia. Today the efforts to improve the quality of education being conducted by various parties. These efforts based on an awareness of the importance of the role of education in the development of human resources and the development of national character (Nation Character Building) for the betterment of society and the nation. Dignity of a nation is determined by the quality of education. The way is to raise three potential natural base (word, wind, eyelash) humans.

Abstract

In globalization era, language has an important place to build teenager orientation. Language could show someone and nation characteristic. Language is not only as a communication, but also as a processof human thinking to comprehend something objectively and imaginatively. It could show every aspect of human life. In addition, without language people will be noiseless and will die in the silent. One way to conserve Balinese language is increase teenager’s interst. According to the explanation above, the problems in this research can be formulated as follows ; 1) how is the Balinese teenager’s ability in using Balinese language in Peraupan Denpasar Village? 2) what are the factors that affect Balinese teenager’s ability in using Balinese language in Peraupan Denpasar village? 3) what are the efforts that can be used to increase Balinese teenager’s ability in using Balinese language in Peraupan Denpasar village?. Theories that was used in this research were sociolinguistics theory, language attitude theory, social changes theory and learning motivation theory. This research used some data collection techniques, such as observation, interview and literature. Data which have been collected was proceed and analysed by using qualitative descriptive method. The result of this research showed that as follows; 1) Balinese teenager’s ability in using Balinese in Peraupan Denpasar village is still low if it is connected to sor singgih, 2) the factors that that can affect Balinese teenager’s ability in using Balinese language in Peraupan Denpasar village are technology, environment, and the difficulties of Balinese language also less of tools and infrastructure, 3) the efforts that could be done to solve the problem are making a contest, doing pasraman activity, using Balinese language (sor singgih) in meeting, upgrading parents role, an upgrading school role.
