Abstract

This article study seeks to analyze in depth the concept of feminism in Islam. The beginning of their creation is the same as that of men. In Islam, women also have the same rights and duties with courtesy. They have the same obligations of worship, receiving punishment and punishment in addition to compensation and bad actions. There are many other areas of Islamic concepts. However, in sustainable development, feminism causes a release for women's lives. In the end, this contradicts the idea of equal rights and obligations between men and women in Islam. Feminism in Islam is a movement to provide equal opportunities to women in the social, economic, political, educational and cultural fields, while remaining women as creatures who must obey men in the household frame. That is, the feminist movement in Islam does not make women out of their nature, which will cause new problems.

Abstract

This article will discuss Islamic Education in the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali and KH. Moh. Idris Jauhari. It was these two figures who, in subsequent developments, were able to reconstruct the concept of Islamic education in accordance with the realities and needs of the times. This study is expected to be able to explain the meaning of educational methods, educational meanings, educational goals, educational materials, educational curricula, educational concepts, educational systems, educational instruments, the Qur'an and Hadith as the basis of education, useful knowledge, and educational methods. This research uses the method of library research. The data sources used are works related to Al-Ghazali and KH. Moh. Idris Jauhari. From the research results, it was found that the similarities and differences in the thoughts of the two figures regarding the understanding of educational methods, the meaning of education, educational goals, educational materials, educational curricula, educational concepts, educational systems, educational instruments, Al-Qur'an and Hadith as educational foundations, useful knowledge , and educational methods.

Abstract

This article examines several different interpretations of Tafsir Jalalain's, namely those of Jalaluddin Al-Mahalli and Jalaluddin Al-Suyuthi. In collaborating on his work, the two are not in the same era but different generations, but the interpretation of both is almost the same. The purpose of this research is to find out the different interpretations of each commentator based on the social and intellectual life of both. The method used is library research with Tafsir Jalalain as the primary source. By looking directly at the results of interpretation from various points of view, the results obtained include that Jalaluddin Al-Mahalli's method of interpretation is mainly sourced from narrations (al-ma'thur). At the same time, Jalaluddin As-Suyuthi is the other way around, namely by reason (al-ra'yu). Also, in addressing the various qiraah, the two are different. Al-Mahalli, in his qira'ah interpretation, does not change the original meaning at all, but in Al-Suyuthi, the various Qiraat presented can change the meaning of interpretation between one Qiraat and another. In terms of Al-Mahalli's theology, his interpretation refers to the teachings of the Ash'ariyah school. At the same time, Al-Suyuthi belongs to the Ash'ariyah school, but in his interpretation, he does not refer to Ash'ariyah

Abstract

Humans require both other humans and other creatures in order to survive. Humans are Zoon Politicon, which in Aristotle's terminology means social beings, including in the context of religious social life. As a result, the religious-social order that has been passed down from generation to generation is being undermined by Islamic da'wah ideas and groups that promote radicalization and extremism. During the Wali Songo era, Indonesia as a whole has had its own Islamic heritage and culture. The practice of Islamic traditions and culture in society, such as the samman tradition in Ellak Daya Lenteng Village, Sumenep, is one way to further develop Islam Rahmatan lil Alamin in people's life. The Sumenep people's religious nature is greatly influenced by the samman tradition, particularly in Ellak Daya Village. In this instance, samman can be seen as a tradition that embodies the religious community of Ellak Daya Village and embodies Islam rahmatan lil alamin. It is built on local wisdom and has a strong Islamic spirit. This study used a qualitative field method with a multi-case approach. The research resulted in a discussion of the implementation of the Kompolan Samman tradition in Ellak Daya Lenteng Village, Sumenep (Kompolan Samman Zikrul Ghafilin and Saiful Islam), and the role of the Kompolan Samman tradition in strengthening Rahmatan Lilalamin Islam in Ellak Daya Lenteng Village, Sumenep.

Abstract

The process of instilling the values of multicultural Islamic education basically emphasizes the principles of mutual understanding, respect, respect, fairness, tolerance, and equality to create harmony and keep away from intolerant practices between religious communities. The principle of value in the view of Islam does not regard differences in religion, race, ethnicity, and culture as issues that must be opposed. This study aims to determine the results of the concepts and principles and the process of instilling the values of multicultural Islamic education through the basic course material at STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analytic data analysis. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings was carried out using source and method triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the concepts of instilling the values of multicultural education at STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo are based on several principles of openness, tolerance, togetherness, and unity in diversity based on an understanding of Islam that is rahmatan lil'alamin. Multicultural knowledge contains knowledge about the values of multicultural Islamic education, while multicultural feeling includes instilling a multicultural sense in students. Based on this, Islam is able to create harmony and peace, so Islamic education with a multicultural spirit needs to be provided and included in the higher education curriculum

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Fenomena kemanusian seperti pelanggaran HAM, aksi-aksi radikalisme, tindakan kekerasan (pembunuhan dan pengeboman), permusuhan antar sesama, maraknya penggunaan narkoba dan dinamika sosial lainnya telah merugikan kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara yang menginginkan kehidupan yang sejuk dan damai. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan Islam dan pengembangannya dalam bentuk pendidikan Islam yang inklusif dan anti radikalisme perspektif KH. Abdurrahman Wahid dapat dijadikan solusi bersama di tengah-tengah maraknya “faham-faham radikalisme” yang dipertontonkan oleh beberapa oknum muslim dan organisasi Islam di Indonesia.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan konsep, model dan implementasi pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang inklusif dan anti radikalisme perspektif KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa: 1) konsep pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang inklusif dan anti radikalisme perspektif KH. Abdurrahman Wahid adalah pendidikan multikultural yang bertujuan untuk belajar hidup dalam perbedaan, membangun sikap saling percaya, memelihara saling pengertian, menjunjung sikap saling menghargai, mengajarkan berfikir secara terbuka, apresiasif, dan interdependensi dan sistem pendidikan Islam yang menghargai ragam budaya sesuai basis sosio-kultural masyarakat; 2) model pengembangannya dapat dilakukan melalui pribumisasi Islam, yakni proses integrasi Islam dengan budaya lokal atau pendidikan Islam dengan pendidikan lokal kedaerahan, sehingga terbentuk suatu sistem pendidikan yang mampu menerapkan pembaharuan Islam dan budaya secara kontekstual dan komprehensif; dan 3) Implementasi pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang inklusif dan anti radikalisme perspektif Gus Dur dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia yaitu menjadikan pendidikan Islam yang sebagai syiar Islam dengan beberapa strategi yang dapat digunakan, yaitu; strategi politik, strategi kultural dan strategi sosial.  Abstract: Human phenomena include abuses of human rights, radical acts of violence (murders and bombings), interpersonal animosity, the development of drug usage, and other social dynamics have hurt the nation's and state's desire for a calm and peaceful existence. In light of the rise in "radicalism notions" expressed by a number of Muslim people and Islamic organizations in Indonesia, it is possible to use Islamic education and its development in the form of Islamic education that is both inclusive and anti-radical. This is according to KH. Abdurrahman Wahid. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) in relation to Indonesian education. The findings of his study demonstrate that: 1) KH. Abdurrahman Wahid's concept of inclusive Islamic education and anti-radicalism is a multicultural education that aims to teach open thinking, appreciation, and interdependence as well as an Islamic education system that respects various cultures in accordance with the socio-cultural foundations of society; 2) The development model can be implemented through the indigenization of Islam, or the process of integrating Islamic education with local regional education, in order to create an educational system that is capable of applying Islamic and cultural renewal contextually and comprehensively; and 3) Making Islamic education a symbol of Islam through the use of various strategies, including political strategy, cultural strategy, and social strategy. This is done from Gus Dur's perspective on the implementation of the development of Islamic education that is inclusive and anti-radicalism in the context of education in Indonesia. Keywords: Inklusif, Radicalism

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as centers of Islamic religious learning are the most appropriate places to learn to read and study the Qur'an as the main source and reference for Muslims in behavior. however, not all students who study religion in Islamic boarding schools have the ability and fluency in reading the Qur'an. This research was conducted at the Annuqayah Lubangsa Putri Islamic Boarding School which intends to measure the level of fluency in reading the Qur'an by using the iqro’ method for students who are at the junior and senior high school formal education levels. This study uses a qualitative method to measure the effectiveness of the application of the iqro’ method at the Annuqayah Lubangsa Putri Islamic Boarding School. This research uses observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation techniques, while the analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study shows that the application of the iqro’ method is considered effective in increasing the fluency of reading the Qur'an of students at the Annuqayah Lubangsa Putri Islamic Boarding School. This is because, the application of the iqro’ method is very appropriate especially for students who experience age delays in learning to read the Qur'an. The application of the iqro’ method cannot be separated from the role of the Islamic Guidance and Development (BPK) administrator and the supervisor of the Qur'an reading in improving the fluency of reading the Qur'an of students.  Â
