Abstract

Creative thinking skills used to solve the real problems in students life. However, in the reality this skill  in not used as a goals in the learning process at school. So that, the students’ creative thinking skills are low. Aim softh is research is to find out the students’ creative thinking skills in high, moderate, and low ranks by using problem based learning. The research method used is Pre-Experimental with one group pre-testa and posttest designs. The samples are five grade students of SDN Babakan 01 and SDN Rancaheulang. The instruments used are creative thingking skills test, questionnaire, observation paper and interview. The learning process which is conducted in all three groups are able to increase creative thinking skills, is showed from the stattistic test result that Problem Based Learning is able to increase creative thinking skills significantly. Moreover, obtained the difference of increase in all three groups. The group which reach the best result among all three groups is the students group in high rank.

Abstract

The research intend to know the sience literacy skill improvement of students with problem-based learning on high level, medium level, and low level. Methodology of research be used is pre-experiment with design (the one group pretestt-posttest design). The research is accomplishe at SDN Cimalaka, SDN Cibereum III and SDN Palasah. The instrument used in this research is by the science literation skill of science test with pretestt and posttest on each high, medium, and low levels, teacher’s achievement observation sheet, student activeness observation, and science attitude scale questionnaire. The research show that the problem-based learning could improve the science literacy skill of students in all levels, and it is proved by the result of mean difference test on high level measured 0.000, on medium level measured 0.000, and low level measured 0.001. It is mean that the learning method could improve the science literation skill of students in all levels

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis merupakan kemampuan yang masih rendah. Kemampuan ini dapat dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran yang inovatif. Salahsatu pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa adalah pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, transferring (REACT). Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode  eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD se-Kecamatan Cisalak Kabupaten Subang yang sekolahnya berada pada kelompok sedang. Sementara, sampelnya adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cigadog II sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN Cisalak III  sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes kemampuan representasi matematis, skala sikap, lembar observasi kinerja guru, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan wawancara dengan siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual berstrategi REACT lebih baik secara signifikan daripada pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran kontekstual berstrategi REACT sangat positif.

Abstract

Based on obtained preliminary data in V class students SDN Cipameungpeuk, founding a problem in the learning process. Teacher doing a learning with using a conventional approach, so the students less motivation to follow the lesson. Coping effort that problem with apply a Contextual Teaching and Learning model of learning. Research focus on performance of teacher, students activity, learning outcomes, and fixed through classroom action research, by using Kemmis and Taggart design. Used a interview sheets as the instrument, teacher performance observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, field notes, and test student learning outcomes. This research finished by III cycle. Planning cycle I88,89%, cycle II 94,44%, and cycle III 100%.  Implementation cycle I 80,56%, cycle II 88,89%,and  cycle III 100%. Students activity cycle I 70,04%, cycle II 81,64%, and cycle III 87,92%. Students learning outcomes cycle I 52,17%, cycle II 78,27%, and cycle III 91,3%. Based on the obtained data, CTL model of learning can improve studentss learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know about the influence of PBL with Act It Out strategy to the mathematical understanding ability and learning motivation of students. Quasi experimental is a method that used, with nonequivalent control group design. The students of class IV SDN Majalengka Kulon V as an experimental, and SDN Majalengka Wetan III as a control class are the samples. Based on data analysis, it’s proven that PBL with Act It Out strategy could improve the mathematical understanding ability better than conventional learning with significantly, and could improve the learning motivation of student with insignificantly. A positive correlation between those aspects indicates that student who have a high of mathematical understanding ability shown have a high of learning motivation too. The students respons to that approach generally positive, based on they answers from interview.

Abstract

The underlying problem of this research is the lack of ability of elementary school students in interpreting mathematical problems concerning addition and subtraction of integers into certain images or symbols. Realistic Mathematics Education approach presents the stage to improve the ability of mathematical representation. The method used is quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group. The samples grade IV of SDN Gudangkopi 1 as experimental class and SDN Palasari as control class. The instruments used in this research are question mathematical representation ability test, learning motivation attitude scale, teacher performance observation and student activity sheet, teacher and student interview sheet. The finding reveals that Realistic Mathematics Education approach shows improvement on the ability of mathematical representation with average value showing moderate gain, is then considered a better learning compared to the conventional one, and shows a positive relationship between students' mathematical representation ability and learning motivation.

Abstract

The development of teh times requires human to be smart anda figure carefully in choosing the information increasingly easy to obtained. At the school is expected to bring up the learning process thet produces a pattern og thingking scientifically and rationally. Therefore, this research aims to know the influence of problem-based learning, literacy abilities against science students on the material resources of nature. Methods and subjects in this research method of experimental and pre-grade III SDN Karapyak 1. Results show that: (1) probelm-based learning can improve science literacy on the material recources of significant ways, (2) problem-based learning material on natural resources can improve science literacy on group of high, medium, low. (3) there is a difference of science literacy ability enhancement by using problem-based learning in students of higher group, medium, and low, (4) students with learning respong positively using model problem based learning.

Abstract

This research is based on the researcher's interests in the woven learning process done to the students, because in general the learning of making webbing requires a level of rigor that is rarely owned by students of primary school age. This study aims to examine the learning process of wicker art And to know the factors that support the achievement through the learning process of webbing. The method used is qualitative research with descriptive analytic design. Data analysis techniques used are data analysis techniques based on Miles and Huberman models. This research was conducted at SDN Neglasari Sub District Ciater Subang. The result of the research is a study of the learning process of woven and the exposure of factors that support the achievement of achievement in SDN Neglasari. The supporting factor consists of two factors, Namely internal factors and external factors.
