The incidence of bleeding was the highestr among than most proporsi proporsi other causes of maternal mortality. From this data there is an increase in 69 cases of postpartum hemorrhage. This study aims to prove investigate the factors associated with the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. This research method with a quantitative analytical study design was case control study conducted in May-June 2012 at the Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province. Number of 446 samples consisting consist of 223 cases and 223 controls. Measuring instruments used is a checklist list. For bivariate data analysis analyzed using with Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression Test Doubles. Results of this study showed women with age <20 and> 35 years 12 times more at risk than women with age 20-35 years with a value of 12 336 OR (95% CI 7094-21452), followed by maternal parity> 3 riskier 4 times than in women with parity 1-3 with 3,833 times the value of OR (95% CI 2.13-6.89), women with hemoglobin levels <11gr/100dl 2 times more at risk than women with Hb values 11gr/100dldengan OR 2,027 times (CI 95% 1144-3987), whose mother did not visit antenatal K4 2 times more at risk than women who did not visit dengaZZn with grades K4 OR 2.090 (95% CI 1002-4359), mothers with less than secondary education down 2 times more risky than the mothers who have a high school education up to 2,027 times the value of OR (95% CI 1144-3987), working mother with 2 times the risk of having a mother who does not work with nillai 1,966 times (95% CI 1136-3402) and the factor of labor history konfonding is variable in this study. This study suggest, mother with risk factors with Expected to pregnant women with risk factors who experienced postpartum hemorrhage in order have to increase their knowledge by information from healthcare, in a way that made listening extension health workers, newspaper and television about the importance of antenatal care to prevent postpartum hemorrhage

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in pregancy in Indonesia is 40.1 % by National Family Health Survey 2001. Data from Health Office Pekanbaru City showed prevalence of anemia in pregnancy in Tenayan Raya Public Health Center is 54 %. This cross sectional study was designed to identify risk factors with anemia in pregnancy in Tenayan Raya Public Health Center. Two hundreds and twelve pregnant women were included in this study . Data obtained usinh questionnaire and analyzed using regression logistic test. This study showed Parity (CI95%: OR = 1.66 to 6.16), adequacy of iron intake (CI95%: OR = 1.59 to 5.80), Status KEK (CI95%: OR = 1.44 to 2.50), maternal education (CI95%: OR = 1.24 to 4.50) were significantly associated with incidence of anemia in pregnancy. Unrelated variables are maternal age, family income, employment and knowledge. multivariate analysis showed the parity (number of children), the adequacy of iron intake, KEK status, and maternal education have a causal relationship with the incidence of anemia. Variables that are not associated significantly with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women is the mother's age, family income, occupation and knowledge. Suggest for pregnant women to plan their pregnancy, consume iron tablets as many as 30 eggs / month for 3 consecutive months and maintain the nutritional needs during pregnancy. For further research needs to study with different respondents, a different place and time by using continuous data.

Abstract

Incomplete abortion is termination of pregnancy in which the products of conception are not entirely expelled or removed from uterus, before 20 weeks in pregnancy. Approximately 90% of deaths due to abortion complications This casecontrol study was designed to determine association factors with incidence of incomplete abortion at Arifin Achmad General Hospital 2010-2012. the event spending most of the products of conception in pregnancy before 20 weeks, there was still some left in the uterus. Approximately 90% of deaths due to abortion complications. The purpose of research is knowing the factors associated with the incidence of incomplete abortion at the Arifin Achmad Hospital in Riau Province Year 2010-2012. Type of case-control study design. Cases were pregnant women who had incomplete abortion and normal controls were pregnant women who did not experience an incomplete abortion were ≤ 20 weeks in hospitals Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru 2010-2012. The results were significantly associated variables, namely: 1) mothers with low education 1,469 times more at risk of experiencing an incomplete abortion than women who have a higher education (95% CI: OR = 1.067 to 2.024), 2) maternal pregnancy spacing <2 years 2,084 times the risk of having incomplete abortion compared, mothers who have gestational distance ≥ 2 years (CI 95%: OR = 1.507 to 2.881), 3) mothers who work 4,184 times more at risk of experiencing an incomplete abortion than women who did not work (95% CI: OR = 2.657 to 6.588); variable is inversely related to hemoglobin and parity, and the confounding variable is the age of the parity. As Cconclusion, education, spacing of pregnancy and occupation have causal relationship with the incidence of incomplete abortion.that the independent variables that have a causal relationship with the incidence of incomplete abortion is variable, distance education and employment pregnancy. Confounding variable is the variable age-related incidence of parity on the incidence of incomplete abortion. This study suggests to improve knowledge about complication abortion and plan pregnancy. Advice for pregnant women to know the danger signs of TM I and set the distance kehamialan to avoid incomplete abortion; to the next researcher to observe Hb and maternal parity before through books KIA, and maternal age> 35 years in an effort so that no pregnant at parity > 3

In Lantera Minangkabau Foundation of West Sumatra in 2011, of the 621 MSM, 24 who nurtured found as many as 24 MSM are HIV infected with HIV. This study aims to determine the risk factors for HIV incidence in MSM communities, partners of Lantera Minangkabau Foundation of West Sumatera using analytical kuantitatif methods by with using case control study. The research sample respondents wereas 24 cases and 24 controls. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate with using chi square test and odds ratio. The results showed that the risk factors for HIV incidence in MSM community is sexual behavior (p = 0.009, OR 5.898 and 95% CI 1.609-20.479), while the factor of injecting drug use is not a risk factor for HIV incidence in MSM communities (p = 1.000, OR 1.571 and 95% CI 0.238-10.365). It is hoped suggest that the Foundation enhance communication, information, education (IEC) to the MSM community that nurtured and discovery of HIV cases, especially in key risk populations
