<![CDATA[Direct local elections in accordance with law No. 32 of 2004 is a democratic process in Indonesia. Local elections is very important in the development of democracy. With the local elections, the people can exercise their right to choose their political leaders in the region. This is a the study of the regional election through independent pathways in Deli Serdang. This is study about Analysis of Eddy Azwar – Selamat Strategy. The finding is there are four strategies used by Eddy Azwar – Selamat in the process of the Local Election 2013 in Kabupaten Deli Serdang. First make the methods of research or survey before preparing and carrying out cam-paign activities. Second, prepare the campaign plan. Third, evaluate the progress of campaign report. Fourth,implement newa campaign. The method used is descriptive - qualitative method. <![CDATA[Regional election is an important process in Indonesia as a democratic state. In 2012 elections held in the Kota Padangsidimpuan. Essentially political parties become the main motor in the local election and it did happen in this case. Golkar party is the party that lead the prospective regional head. The result of this process is Chaidir Ritonga as the candidate from the Golkar Party and He would pairs with Mara Gunung Harahap. This is a study about Golkar Party’s (Partai Golkar) candidates recruitment mechanism the regional head in local election of Pa-dangsidimpuan 2012. The focus mainly disscusses about how the regional head candidates re-cruitment’s process from Golkar Party in Padangsidimpuan 2012 local election. This research used descriptive methods, using observations, interviews and literature. This study detected three important things in recruitment process: First, inventory figure names that considered able to leading Padangsidimpuan City; Second, survey and selection stage; Third, determina-tion of the head regional candidates.Keywords: local election, candidates recruitment.]]>

<![CDATA[This study tried to describe the agrarian conflict that occurred in the village of Sei Mencirim and Namo Rube Julu, Kutalimbaru District, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Where the purpose of this study is to discuss about any form of human rights violations that occurred in agrarian conflict in village of Sei Mencirim and Namo Rube Julu, Kutalimbaru District, Kab. Deli Serdang. Therefore, researcher used a case study design and method of interviews as the main data col-lection technique and the study relies on the analysis of interviews obtained and its relevance to the applicable laws and the theories used. The findings of this study, among others, there are three forms of human rights violations that occurred in the village of Namo Sei Mencirim and Rural Rube Julu. First, agricultural land owned by the people of widely plantations; Secondly, acts of violence experienced by farmers; Third, farmers do not receive the decent result of the production itself.Keywords: Conflict, human right, violence.]]>

<![CDATA[Russia as a socialist state is an important part of the history of the world. The history show Vla-dimir Lenin dan Boshelvik Party had successfully apply revolution theory which pioneered by Karl Marx. This study discusses about the steps are applied Lenin's revolution and the Party Boshelvik to reach revolution (1917) in Russia. This study is using historical aproach (political history). Colecting data of this study is using secondary data which is obtained from books, lit-erature and document. The analysis using descriptive analysis. The findings ofthis study, there are two stages of revolution that Lenin and the Party Boshelvik applied. First, Bourgeois Revo-lution, pioneered by bourgeoisie and labourer/peasant to bring down the feudal system (Tsar) Russians; Second, socialist revolution, pioneered by the proletariat with all workers to bring down the bourgeois system.Keywords: Political Party, Bourgeoisie Revolution, Socialist revolution.]]>

<![CDATA[This is a study about the role of elite Muhammadiyah in Palembang in Local Election 2008. This study is using political behavior approach. Method of data collection using field studies (in-depth interview). Data analysis is using quantitative and qualitative method. The findings of this study that local election as one of the momentum of political contestation at the local level, especially the role of local elites Muhammadiyah Palembang. However, most of the local elite Muhammadiyah does not participate actively sponsoring candidate local elections (Walikota and Wakil Walikota Palembang) 2008-2013. Only a small part is doing it. This study describe that it is difficult to separate the interests of the local elite who linkages actively participating as a team succeed or else toward the Muhammadiyah organization in the city of Palembang. This is because they activity always giving effect to the Muhammadiyah. There is a great potential of the organization Muhammadiyah as a community organization that has a lot of mass.Keywords: Local election, elite, political participation.]]>

<![CDATA[This is a study about the political of regional head to strengthen the power. This study is using political system approach. Data collection is using field study techniques and literature (method interviews, library research (library research) and study documents. Analysis is using qualita-tive technique, especially descriptive analysis method. The finding of this study is the head of the region have a tendency to magnify its power. There is no execption to the regional head which is the individual candidates. This is because in politics, great powers it needed to run and maintain power. In the case in Kabupaten Batubara, efforts to to strengthen the power can be seen from the success of OK Arya Zulkarnain gaining a strategic position in a political parties. OK Arya Zulkarnain joined the Golkar Party and also became Chairman of DPD Kabupaten Batubara of the Golkar Party period (2010-2015). So the influence of OK Arya Zulkarnain in parliament becomes larger. Especially in influencing policy at the local legislature (DPRD Kabupaten Batubara).Keywords: Power, political of regional head, political parties.]]>

<![CDATA[This study describes the role of political parties to develop the concept of wawasan kebangsaan in Indonesia. This role relates to the law on political parties (Undang-Undang Partai Politik No. 31 Tahun 2003). In this law there are rules about political education for the community. The study found that the role of political parties is strategic to promote the concept of wawasan kebangsaan. But unfortunately there is a gap between planning and implementation of educa-tional insight in terms of wawasan kebangsaan and party themes. There are several factors that cause the condition. First, the political parties does not have large financial resources. Second, existing human resources have less political awareness. Third, political parties are concerned with power. The divergence of interests between the political parties (as the political institu-tions) and government (as the holder of power), impact on congestion of the program for strengthening the concept of wawasan kebangsaan. This study supported by data sourced from library and documents and using institutional and political system approach in analysis procces.Keywords: Political education, political parties, nationalism, wawasan kebangasaan.]]>

<![CDATA[Base on National Report Goverment Decentralization Survey 2002 by Centre for Population and Policy Studies Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) with PEG USAID-UNDP World Bank, have fund interesting of data about conflict in North Sumatera Province. The first in nation trial case, North Sumatera province is more peace from conflict if compared to Riau Province. Second, in national case, North Sumatera province is one that can provide conflict resolution to maintain harmonism. This research answer why this phenomenon happened and observes what is conflict potency in North Sumatera Province related to regional autonomy era. It is so interesting be-cause in the past North Sumatera Province often estimated as a gristle area. To be parallel with the society has hard character, heterogeneous and very dinamic. This study has found that in North Sumatera people standing in “conflict potencial” category. In this research appertain as lowest category. <![CDATA[The election of regional leader directly or recognized with the term “Pilkadasung” has been conducted at Medan City, June 2005. At this moment, political participation of society has shared at certain level. This article explores relation of level economic with political participa-tion ethnic Tionghoa society at Pilkadasung 2005 Medan City based on Lingkungan VI Kelura-han Pusat Pasar Medan Kecamatan Medan Kota. As the same manner as known, Tionghoa is one of the ethnical exist in Indonesia which majority having living in private sector and they have wide access for ownership of economics resources. And so do in Medan City. This study finding, it’s exactly have implications to political participation. Their involvement in politics is high and significance. Its clear statement, that getting higher economy level then getting higher political participation. But, the Tionghoa ethnic political participation in secure manner, such as participating in the material. <![CDATA[Seizing the region became the main issue of conflict triggers. This can be seen from the Case of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The conflict has lasted longer and there is no acceptable solu-tion. Even a hard time to be war between the Arab-Israeli conflict in 1967. Because of concern in this conflict, Muammar Gaddafi, wrote a slim book titled 'The White Book', which offers a so-lution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resolution. According to Muammar Gaddafi cases this conflict can be resolved by establishing a democratic country in the region location between Is-rael and Palestine, which was named the country 'Isratine' (a combination of Israel and Pales-tine). But this idea has many problems. Israel still wants all Palestinian land. On the other hand, Palestinians who felt that the land has been taken by Israel, and Palestinians want to re-claim land they believe is their right. Feud between the two sides of this country are increa-singly frequent. Based on the study of this problem, this study concludes that Isratine is a uto-pian concept of peace.Keywords: Social conflict, International conflict, Soft diplomacy.]]>
