Abstract

Fresh vegetables are commodities that sold on traditional markets especially in rural region inIndonesia. Fresh vegetables sold on the traditional markets will be distributed to retailers and wholesalers.The study is study and build supply chain model of fresh vegetables from Koto Baru, Agam to retailers andwholesalers in Pekanbaru. The problem is fulfil the demand in terms of both quantity and quality of freshvegetables. Purpose of the study was to build supply chain that provide benefits for the actors in thesupply chain, namely farmers and collectors. Model is formulated with deterministic static situation.Objective function is maximization of revenue in the supply chain system. The variables of model is priceof vegetables at the farmers and collectors. Abstract

Palm oil and related products is Malaysia's second largest export. Palm oil state expenditures in 2010 are projected to reach approximately 64,282,738 tons within a year. However, these results still have not reached the stage of maximum when seen from an oil palm plantation areas in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak covering an area of 4,691,160 hectares. Of the area, approximately 2,807 million hectares of oil palm plantations planted by the private sector (59.8%) while 20.2% is managed by the Government (FELDA 675.167 ha, 80.262 Risda and Felcra 160.832), 321.947 ha (7.1%) by the local government and the rest covering an area of 540.194 ha (12.9%) are currently working on. This study discusses the entire area of oil palm planted area compared to the harvest, the number of workers factors, yields and prices. The model used in this research is the method of logistics, with the probit model, logit model and complementary log-log function (complementary log-log) to 39 locations palm observations drawn from Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia. Models are selected based on statistical test that involves the value of AIC (Akaike information criterion) of proc logistic method, the value of the method Genmod Proc devians as well as the value of p, the reference is taken to determine the best model in this study. After comparison of the statistical test is selected, indicating that the model Complement function logs is a better model than the models probit and logit models.Keywords: AIC, devians, genmod proc, logistic proc, palm oil

Abstract

PT. Beton Mitra Mandiri has eight factories and 125 employees. The HRD difficulties in managing employee data in terms of attendance reporting, recording loan funds, and record employee leave, resulting in frequent delays that resulted in delays in the calculation absent employee's salary, cheating number of employees on leave, and the buildup of files as well as the impact on the decline in the productivity of company so it cannot meet the project targets. To overcome the above problems built an Employee Management Information System using Method Framework for the Application of Systems Thinking (FAST). There are five steps that used FAST Scope Definition Phase, Problem Analysis Phase, Analysis Requirements Phase, Logical Design Phase, and Phase Decision Analysis. A result from this study is Management Information System Web-based Employee has been implemented. Black box testing results presentation system with success was 96.8% and the test 94.4% user acceptance testing.Keywords: Human Resource Development, Framework FAST Method, PT. Abstract

Measuring the strategy implementation based on numbers of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) is no longer adequate. The role of knowledge process is believed to be able to enhance this process through the involvement of stakeholders in solving the strategy implementation problems. To measure this achievement, a new framework has been studied and justified through interviews and surveys conducted within Malaysian Public Higher Education Institution. One of the important indicators proposed in this framework is the role of ICT. A statistical analysis through the application of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was shown how ICT can enhance the effectiveness of knowledge process, especially in utilizing knowledge (Knowledge Utilization Activity).This study aids the stakeholders in conducting several improvements and corrective actions towards their strategy implementation success.Keywords: ICT, Knowledge Process, Problem Solving, Strategy Implementation Success

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang perbandingan optimalisasi waktu pengerjaan proyek perumahan dengan menggunakan metode Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) dan Eearned Value Method (EVM), dengan studi kasus proyek perumahan D’Lion Cluster. Optimalisasi ini dilakukan untuk mempercepat pembangunan proyek perumahan dan memprediksi percepatan waktu pengerjaan proyek apabila dilakukan penambahan waktu jam kerja selama 1 jam dan 3 jam. Serta memprediksi penambahan biaya proyek setelah dilakukan penambahan waktu kerja. Hasil perbandingan dari metode PERT dan EVM tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk memperoleh biaya dan waktu yang optimum lebih baik menggunakan metode EVM, karena perkiraan waktu penyelesaian proyek dan nilai tambahan serta cost slope nya lebih rendah dibanding metode PERT.

Abstract

Industri komunikasi wireless telah memasuki fase generasi ketiga (3G). Kebutuhan masyarakat komunikasi nirkabel di Pekanbaru meningkat, terutama pada daerah perkotaan yang dikenal dengan pusat bisnis. Peningkatan Layanan teknologi berupa mms, video conference, video streaming dan koneksi internet dengan kecepatan tinggi sangat dibutuhkan. Kendala yang dihadapi belum semua wilayah ter-cover sinyal jaringan WCDMA, seperti Kecamatan Limapuluh. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian ini. Pembahasan tentang perhitungan perencanaan jumlah node B berupa jumlah sinyal carrier dalam satu sel, jumlah total kanal trafik pelanggan per sel, kapasitas total bit informasi per sel, dan jumlah sel dan perhitungan radio link berupa perhitungan link budget dari arah downlink dan uplink, analisa penempatan node B menghasilkan area cakupan yang optimal. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah jumlah node B sebanyak 2 dengan radius sel sebesar 1040 m2 dan di visualisasikan cakupan wilayah dalam bentuk heksagonal pada peta berskala 1 : 10.000 dengan jumlah sel sebanyak 2 sel. Kata Kunci : Node B, Sel, WCDMA

Abstract

Pertumbuhan sampah elektronik (e-waste) semakin mencapai titik tertinggi, disebabkan pertumbuhan teknologi semakin canggih. Semakin murahnya teknologi terbaru serta user-friendly, mengakibatkan penumpukan sampah elektronik yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Pada sisi hardware seperti harddisk, memory dan processor yang telah usang mengandung bahan beracun yaitu menimbulkan emisi karbon di udara. LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project) merupakan sebuah teknologi terminal server pada sistem operasi linux yang memungkinkan komputer dengan spesifikasi rendah atau usang dapat dijalankan dengan resource ditanggung oleh server yang berspesifikasi tinggi. Dengan kombinasi antara thin -client dan LTSP kita dapat meminimalisir biaya pengeluaran dan maintenance serta dapat menghemat daya dan hardware pada sisi server dan client guna menerapkan Green ICT. Pada sisi server manajemen hard disk telah diintegrasikan pada client, sehingga client dapat mudah menyimpan file dan folder langsung ke server. Penggunaan resource memori serta processor juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap kinerja masing-masing proses. Penggunaan memory dan processor pada sisi server mempengaruhi kinerja pada client di LTSP, sehingga lebih besar lebih baik juga kinerjanya. Dengan 4 Gb, persentase core dan memory pada keseluruhan menjalankan satu aplikasi sekitar 35-100%, sedangkan tiga aplikasi berjalan berkisar 53-100%, dan rata-rata penggunaan memori 67.1% - 70%. Kata kunci: client, core, e-waste, Green ICT, harddisk, LTSP, maintenance, memory, processor, resource, server, user-friendly

Abstract

High Frequency ( HF ) radio waves that have a wavelength of 10 meters to 100 meters , and works at a frequency of 3 MHz to 30 MHz . One channel utilization maritime HF as used for voice communications.The availability of bandwidth on maritime band channel can be maximized its use for voice communications , the necessary analysis of the availability of channels through the use of data results in data communications. This research analyzes the data distribution approach that includes the use of the approach through the channel distribution model for data communications in order to optimally when used . From the data processing provided and the frequency is the mean availability of time at a frequency 6.401 MHz and 6.404 MHz at 6407 MHz while the frequency is different . The mean frequency of 6,401 MHz obtained 412 911 millisecond time availability with a lot of data for 24 643 data. The mean frequency of 6404 MHz obtained 412 911 millisecond time availability of data at 25348 with lots of data. The mean frequency of 6,407 MHz obtained 483 849 millisecond time availability of data at 25438 with lots of data. Model availability of time for communication of data is exponential models for the exponential distribution MSE smaller than other distributions.Keyword : band maritime, channel availability, HF radio, the model

Abstract

One program management agency is distributing zakat free educational assistance (Sekolah Juara)for prospective elementary school students and junior high school. Problems in this free education aid,many criteria must be considered as well as the determination of the potential recipients of the group wasnot able to (very poor and poor). This study uses Principal Component Analysis to categorize recipientsinto three groups: very poor, poor and not poor. Furthermore, the very poor and poor sorted to obtainsequence receiver using Fuzzy Analitycal Hierarchical Process. There are 7 criteria and 4 poor groupingcriteria used for determining as a result of the decision. The results of calculations can be concluded thatthe application of the method Principal Component Analysis and Fuzzy Hierarchical Process Analitycalmulticriteria problems can be taken, as in the case of classification and determination of free educationalassistance Sekolah Juara.Keywords: Fuzzy Analitycal Hierarchical Process, Principal Component Analysis

Abstract

Due to poisonous carbon monoxide (CO) gas emission, portable generator is usually placed away from the location of transfer switch or placed outdoor. Wireless on/off remote controller for portable generator is necessary as the operator might not need to be at site to on/off the engine. This paper presents wireless on/off remote control system for portable generator using radio frequency communication at frequency of 433 Mhz. ATMEL ATtiny2313 microcontroller is used as process controller. The laboratory test results show portable generator can be controlled up to 70 meters.  Keywords: wireless on/off remote controller, portable generator, microcontroller ATtiny2313
