Abstract

This study was carried out to the user community transport services Trans Padang which aims to determine what attributes are needed to identify the perceived service quality as well as how big the gap perceived quality of society as a passenger in order to take specific measures to improve service quality Trans Padang. The method used to analyze the level of inequality is SERVQUAL method and then the consumer voice (Voice of Customers) obtained is integrated with the Quality Function Deployment method of forming a quality home (House of Quality).From the data processing obtained 35 attributes that can identify the quality of service perceived users are divided into 5 dimensions, then of processing SERVQUAL known that there is a gap on the perceptions and expectations of respondents where each attribute has a negative value (-), so that made 13 attempts to improve service quality Trans Padang.In an effort to improve the quality of services Trans Padang, there are several proposed procurement of additional facilities which need to be held soon. Therefore, it is expected that the UPT Trans Padang and Padang City Government to synergize in order to add the necessary facilities.Keywords: House of Quality, Servqual

Abstract

Motor Induksi adalah motor yang banyak ditemui di industri karena memiliki perawatan yang relatif murah dan kekokohan pada mekaniknya namun pada motor Induksi memiliki kekurangan yaitu pengaturan kecepatan yang susah maka dibutuhkan suatu pengendali yang kokoh, salah satunya adalah pengendali SMC. Pengendali SMC adalah pengendali yang terkenal dengan kekokohannya dalam mengatasi gangguan, namun pengendali SMC memiliki kelemahan diantaranyachattering. Pada aplikasinya nilai chattering pada pengendali SMC mampu memicu terjadinya error steady state dan overshoot, salah satu pengendali yang mampu mengatasi error steady state dan overshoot adalah pengendali PID. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dengan pengendali hybrid SMC dan PID pengaturan kecepatan motor Induksi 3 Fasa terbukti pengendali PID mampu mengatasi kelemahan SMC dengan nilai overshoot  pada beban minimal 0%, beban nominal 0,01% dan beban maksimal 0,01% tanpa error steady state, serta memiliki waktu transien lebih cepat  dan kokoh dengan nilai τ pada beban minimal 0,5727s, nominal 0,5725s dan maksimal 0,5735s.

Abstract

Management Consulting Institute (MCI) has the aim to assist SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) entrepreneurs in realizing their goals through their business activities. The final product provided by the MCI is suggestion of documents that must be done by the company in dealing with their problems. Of course, the processes are given through a stage of preliminary observations by collecting initial data and compared with the issues (problems) happened inside the company.In this study, we will develop a Knowledge-Based Systems that stores information in the form of reports from the consultation process between the MCI and SMEs. The system allows users (consultants within MCIs) to access a collection of knowledge and pick the most (or a set of) relevant knowledge (according to industry type, the type of problem, etc.) to be used in subsequent consultations. Also, there is a non-supervised learning facility to calculate the correlation between the documents with references available.This research uses case studies and report data on the projects Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) owned by MCI. Abstract

The position of the solar panel permanently attached will not produce the maximumoutput power. The method used to maximize the power output from the solar panel to adjust theposition of the solar panels are always dealing with the position of the sun. This paper describesthe design of the control system of solar panel with two dimensional base arduino. The solarpanels are driven by two motors. Motor axis X to move towards the east to the west by thechange of time in hours and Y axis motors for movement towards the south to the north basedon the time change by month. The results of this study were able to control the solar panel toget the maximum power of 491 watts. Rated voltage generated by the solar panels can bedisplayed on the LCD via the voltage sensor.Keywords: Arduino, motor, power, solar panel

Abstract

An e-learning implementation is part of software implementation. In Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), implementation is the phase after software being develoved and tested. Unfortunately, even software has been developed and tested, there has been quite number of failure stories in the implementation of e-learning.E-learning implementation concerns with three main activities: delivery, support, and feedback. To assure the success of e-learning implementation, it requires careful plans and proper and systematic implementation phases since there will a quite degree of possibilities of uncertainties and risks that may hinder successful implementation of e-learning.One of the methods adoptable to prevent failures in e-learning implementation is risk analysis. Due to those purposes, this research contributed to any institutions planning to implement e-learning to be better prepare and identify what kind of risks that may arise in the process of e-learning implementation and proper risk mitigation plan in order to be able to prevent the failure.This research has identified 24 risks that may hinder successful implementation of e-learning. And for those risks there will be choosen the high-risk activity in implementing e-learning using the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). There are 3-prioritized risks; very high, high, fair. And this research focuses on the very high and high degree of potential RPN are: resistance from the users due to non-involvement in the process of need identification leading to generation of final products that are not in compliance with the users, lack of policies to obligate the adoption of e-learning in learning processes, and unwillingness of the users to change to use e-learning.

Abstract

Tachometer adalah instrumen yang memiliki fungsi untuk mengukur kecepatan rotasi sebuah obyek. Produk tachometer komersil sebagian besar hanya memiliki satu fitur saja yaitu menampilkan hasil pengukuran pada panel display. Hal ini menjadi masalah jika diterapkan pada sistem monitoring kontinyu dan pada sistem umpan balik. Sinyal atau informasi dari piranti ukur biasanya dinyatakan dalam bentuk besaran listrik jika ingin dijadikan sebagai sinyal umpan balik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun tachometer dan mengukur kinerja sebuah tachometer yang memiliki fitur display dan output data analog. Komponen sensorik yang digunakan adalah photodioda untuk mendeteksi reflective-obstacle, dan metode perhitungan putaran obstacle menggunakan algoritma event-driven interrupt. Pengolah sinyal pada penelitian ini menggunakan arduino uno. Informasi rpm dari tachometer ditampilkan pada LCD dan dalam bentuk tegangan analog melalui rangkaian digital to analog(DAC) dengan konstruksi R-2R ladder beresolusi 8 bit. Data hasil pengujian menunjukkan akurasi tachometer pada penelitian ini mencapai 98.6 % dan tachometer mampu mengukur secara baik pada jarak maksimal 9 cm dari obyek.

Abstract

Manual and repetitive activity in a grease filling production brings an ergonomics risk to theoperator. OCRA Index, Strain Index, Quick Exposure Checklist and Nordic Body Map were used in thepreliminary study to identify and measure the risk. There were medium and high risk and the improvementwas needed immediately due to the repetitiveness work. The aim of this study is to identify the risk due tothe repetitiveness and to improve the workstation to minimize the risk. Analytical Hierarchy Process wasused to decide what kind of improvement would be taken. Workstation redesign and product redesign wasselected to be implemented. Improvement on conveyor and grease drum was proposed to minimize therepetitiveness risk. The result of the study show that the repetitiveness risks were categorized asacceptable based on the OCRA Index score.Keywords: ergonomics risk, redesign, repetitiveness, workstation

Abstract

Layanan BPJS yang didukung oleh SI/TI masih mengalami beberapa kelemahan yang akan membawa citra negatif bagi rumah sakit di Indonesia, khususnya rumah sakit yang menerima layanan BPJS di Kota Palembang. Sementara itu, makin meningkatnya jumlah rumah sakit di Kota Palembang baik dimiliki oleh swasta maupun pemerintah menimbulkan persaingan yang makin ketat dan menuntut tiap rumah sakit dapat memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik bagi pasiennya Untuk mendukung kemampuan dan tingkat pelayanan supaya mampu bersaing dengan lembaga kesehatan yang lainnya perlu adanya pengelolaan yang berbasis teknologi informasi (TI). Sehingga perlu adanya penilaian sudah sejauh manakah tingkat kematangan pengelolaan SI/TI pada rumah sakit yang melayani BPJS dengan menggunakan framework COBIT. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara serta pengisian kuesioner oleh staf SI/TI pada rumah sakit di Kota Palembang yaitu RS XYZ. Pemilihan rumah sakit ini berdasarkan penggunaan SI/TI yang mana telah terdapat sistem informasi manajemen rumah sakit di dalamnya, terdapat layanan BPJS dan rumah sakit ini masih bertipe C. Untuk pembuatan kuesioner, indikatornya mengacu pada domain COBIT. Output dari penelitian ini adalah level kematangan pengelolaan SI/TI dan rekomendasi perbaikan pada RS XYZ. Hasil dari pengukuran tingkat kematangan yang dilakukan pada RS XYZ level tertinggi adalah 4 dan level terendah adalah 1. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh oleh RS XYZ adalah 2,85 yang artinya pemanfaatan SI/TI rumah sakit masih berada pada tingkat kematangan di level 2 (Repeatable but Intuitive). Agar rumah sakit dapat meningkatkan peran dan fungsi TI dalam mendukung strategi bisnis khususnya untuk proses bisnis pada layanan BPJS, rumah sakit harus menyadari pentingnya sebuah tata kelola TI yang baik dan dilakukan evaluasi untuk memastikan pemanfaatan SI/TI telah sesuai.

Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application is currently growing, and manyhave started to use for certain purposes. GIS itself is a computer-based system thatfacilitates data entry, data analysis and presentation of data, especially in the case whendealing with spatial data. Today there are many applications are used to develop GIS. Oneof GIS application is MapServer. MapServer is a open source software development environment that can be used to develop web based applications involving the display of spatialdata. As for the storage of spatial data can use PostGIS database. PostGIS is thedevelopment of PostgreSQL that can store and process spatial data type. In this paperwill be described GIS applications using MapServer and PostGIS to assist Dinas TataRuang dan Cipta Karya in terms of doing the analysis Location Permit and the LandUse Permit. Abstract

This research was the continuation of the earlier research which conducted to evaluate the design of palm fruit shells material handling using ENASE (Efisien “Efficient”, Nyaman “comfort”, Aman “Safe”, Sehat “Healthy”, Efektif “Effective”) concept. The data collected before and after the design processed for the standard time, heart beat rate, operator performance, and operator opinion from the questioners. The result showed the material handling designed made the system better than before. The Efficiency was showed by minimizing the working time (52,16%) and operator (50%). The Comfort gained by operator opinion that the handle is easy and comfort during the task. The Safety resulted from the using of wheel and tub which was appropriate with the worker and the conveyor. The Health was obtained from the reduce pain and suspended the fatigue from appears. While the Effective was accomplished from the standard output increasing (238%) which could sustain the productivity.Keywords: effective, efficient, ENASE, material handling, cangkang buah sawit
